Great location and value, I was happily surprised.”
My husband and I stayed 8 nights at the Rome Times Hotel. I searched endlessly online to find a hotel in our budget that was a short walk from many iconic Rome locations and museums, and had a breakfast option. The modern look and feel was also important to me. I was pleasantly surprised to find our room had a king bed and rain shower in the bathroom. I've stayed in other European hotels that were not up to date. Rome Times Hotel staff were extremely accommodating, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was perfect- made to order cappuccinos (I take mine with soy milk which was available) and a large buffet of fruit, pastries, meat and cheese, oatmeal, cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh juices. You always take a chance when booking a hotel in a new city. Having the Rome Times Hotel as our home base every day as we explored Rome really made our first visit to Italy more enjoyable and comfortable.
Designer hotel at non designer cost”
I stayed at the Rome Times and it exceeded my expectation. Designer rooms with king beds and fresh bed sheets. A 'rain' shower plus small hand shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was offered on a self serve basis and included bacon and eggs, continental breads and cheeses, cereals plus such a wide selection of other items. Loved the vanilla croissants! After a day sightseeing, it was good to return to my air conditioned room. To ensure a good night's sleep, the rooms are double glazed but the area around the hotel is not at all noisy. The roof garden is just lovely and the staff are friendly. The Rome Times is situated along a small street but is close enough to walk to the Coliseum plus other attractions. There is a small supermarket across the road and a great ice cream shop down the way. The Rome Times and its surroundings are very safe at night. If I do visit Rome again then I will book the Rome Times.
Would definitely recommend ”
I’d highly recommend the Rome Times Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spotless with lots of room! Big wardrobe, safe, hairdryer etc. They will organise an airport transfer for you for a set price of €30 which is brilliant. Few things that might bother other people but didn’t bother us like a bit noisey outside but sure you’re in a city so it’s to be expected! You can choose what mornings to have breakfast (€15pp) if you don’t choose at the time of booking. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again
Fantastic hotel, location and staff”
Was here for our honeymoon. Hotel was kind enough to upgrade our room to a bigger one and a higher floor. We were given a complimentary bottle of champagne as well. Location wise was incredible as hotel was within walking distance of all the main sights like colosseum, pantheon and Spanish steps. Staff were great, Andrea in particular helped to provide a map and directions to main sights. Other staff were so helpful as well in bringing our luggage to our room. Breakfast provided was continental and was excellent. One important item the hotel provides is the Manet phone, this is a Samsung phone provided by the hotel which acts like a mobile wifi. We used it to find our way around Rome. Amazing stay here, would book it for our next trip to Rome again.
Friendly, comfortable and convenient stay”
- Staff: always friendly and nothing was too much to ask. - Location: fantastic, within 10-20 mins walking distance from all attractions and monuments, and an ~5-8 min walk to nearest convenience store. Also only needed to walk about 10 mins to find an array of restaurants, ranging from popular eateries to hidden gems (although fairly easy to find!) - Cleanliness: Outstanding, no complaints. Room serviced by use of a door sign, or otherwise left alone if using the 'do not disturb' sign. - Facilities: Use of mini bar for free on first night/until first stock used, but have to pay for replenishment thereafter. Disappointed that the 'roof terrace' was more or less just a balcony with no tables or chairs... however the hotel over the road (Rome Glam), also a part of the Mood Hotels Group, had a fantastic rooftop terrace with cocktail bar and restaurant, with sofas/tables/chairs/umbrellas set in a cosy environment with apt lighting and music. Bartender and waiters very polite.
Best staff and service!”
Cannot thank Times Hotel enough for our comfortable stay at their hotel. Thanks you for room upgrade!! They pay close attention to their customers and even provided us with breakfast bags on the days we went out early and missed our included breakfast - we had The Vatican tours and Papal audience which prevent us from eating. Thank you!! The phone in the room was also extremely helpful and we didn’t need to buy a SIM card. One down side was that the bathroom has a frosted window where you shower which may be awkward with friends. Also the taxi driver to the airport charged us more than the set price. He was very rude and erratic that we didn’t want to fight about the cost. He charged us about 10€ extra even though the hotel call it for us. Overall a great experience other than the taxi driver.
Fantastic location, extremely clean ,”
My wife and I just returned from a wonderful 5 day stay at the Rome Times. Spotlessly clean and modern with all that one could hope for in a hotel. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Location is ideal as a base to see all the highlights of Ancient Rome. Would highly recommend.
This hotel was absolutely stunning and directly across the road from their sister hotel that has a beautiful roof top bar with a view of Rome. The staff were so friendly and helpful and even the Classic Room, meant to be the lowest level was really nice. Would definitely stay at Roma Times again.
Wonderful place to stay!”
We really loved our stay here. The hotel was spotlessly clean, our room was lovely and we enjoyed the complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival. Also used the gym downstairs. The staff were really friendly and we made the most of the drinks and free snacks in the bar area - the cocktails were fab. The hotel really made our stay in Rome exceptional. There's also a great restaurant just round the corner down one of the little side streets. Definitely would recommend this hotel.
The Rome Times Hotel was fantastic! It was very close to all the major sites, had all the amenities you needed, a very helpful staff, the even provide you with a phone that makes free international calls and has free internet.
Nice hotel in a good location”
The location of this hotel is great for sightseeing as most places were within walking distance. It is situated just off the busy Via Nazionale so was fairly peaceful. The hotel is split between two buildings. One has reception and the breakfast area and bar and has a roof top terrace. In the second building two doors down there is a roof terrace and some of the rooms had private terraces. Our room was on the top floor and had a large private terrace. The suite was of a good size but the bath/shower and wash basin are not curtained off and you have no privacy from the rest of the suite. The toilet is separate. There is a fridge and the first day the contents are free. There is also a safe in the room. Breakfast choice was not vast but perfectly adequate. The staff were pleasant, the rooms clean and check in and out were quick efficient. I would certainly use this hotel again (there are four in Rome) and would recommend it to friends.
Upgraded to one of two rooms on the top floor with access to a lovely huge terrace, got a free mobile to use in Rome with internet and tourist guides while being a guest of the hotel, friendly staff, beautiful buffet breakfast, comfortable bed and high quality bed linen, clean, walking distance to most of the tourist attractions, what more can you ask for?
Excellent location. Lovely staff”
Really enjoyed our stay at Rome times hotel. Staff were so nice and helpful. Breakfast excellent. Nice room. Location was really central. Highly recommend it
Amazing Stay at Rome Times Hotel!”
Fantastic rooms, staff and location! We were immediately greeted by the friendly staff who took us up to our room on the top floor where we were surprised to learn about the beautiful rooftop hang out. Hotel room was beautiful, up-to-date, and many amenities included in the room + wonderful daily breakfast. By far the best hotel in Rome!
Great Value for money and great staff”
the hotel is located in a nice quiet location its a 15-20 minutes walk from nearly all main attractions , the staff were really helpful and met our requests fast . the room was spacious with a large balcony , we weren't told we were upgraded but it feels like we were . highly recommend this hotel , will defiantly stay here on my next visit to Rome .
The hotel is well located and very comfortable. My reservation included breakfast which was nice. The only things that I think the hotel could improve (this is very minor an probably will not affect other visitors) is that I would like to have an iron for my clothes (I was attending to a conference in Rome and really needed to remove some wrinkles), apart from this, everything was perfect. Totally recommended.
This was an amazing hotel, modern, super clean and the staff was really helpful. ”
Very close to the main attractions, subway 12 min walk, easy to get around and cheap. Great breakfast and could not believe they provide a cell phone free of charge to call our loved ones internationally, and we could take the cell phone with us and use the google map to get around or call restaurants to make reservation... ALL free of charge. Provided maps of Rome and made great suggestions. If a go back to Rome this is where I will stay again.
Good Hotel with excellent service, breakfast, and location in Rome”
My wife and I are very happy for staying Time Rome Hotel. We would come back if we go to Rome again and recommend this hotel to anyone.
Ideal Rome location. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was fabulous, clean, spacious and so quiet. The only thing is some proper towel racks would be good. Otherwise awesome hotel, would come back again
Great location with amazin buffet breatfast!”
The rooms are on the small size but it's everything you need, beautiful bathroom, and big closet! Center location near walking distance from everything you might want to see. The staff is very helpful and nice. The best part was the buffet, the attention of the waiters and the variety of food! It has no pool and walking in Rome can be so HOT in summer that you wish there was a pool to refresh, but everything else it's great! Definitely recommended and hope to be back someday!!!
