Excellent value for money..”
Very pleased, I think 'value for money' is the best way to rate a hotel, and the RP is very good. I only booked a standard room, but it was very adiquate, spacious, good Aircon and fine for what I require. Was pleased that the breakfast had a daily variation, and the staff have been very friendly to me. Would certainly book the RP again, if it was available for the reasonable price I paid on this visit.
Love to stay in this Hotel Always”
Pleasant stay always here, this was my 10 th time stay in this hotel, staffs are really friendly & co operative in all respect. From Reception to House Keeping. All staffs are very much responsible, I prefer to stay in this hotel always.
Budget hotel in good location”
This was my second time staying at romeo palace and i can say i will stay again many times more the hotel is old but great value for your money as it is a good location and has really nice big pool.. staff are very friendly aswell will go back again and again!
My favorite Pattaya hotel.”
I like to try different hotels in Pattaya but I always end up going back to this hotel. For the price it is unrivaled. Great breakfast, helpful friendly staff, pool. The rooms are clean and comfortable. No problem recommending this to budget travelers or those looking for a good cheap hotel.
Well located and excellent value for money. ”
A very short walk to buses going everywhere in Pattaya. Close to the nightlife but the noise from the bars does not disturb. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is excellent. (A good choice for vegetarians.) The hotel is a little tired but there seems to be a programme of upgrading. The pool is excellent. Will stay again. Excellent value for money.
Excellent value for money. ”
Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. The breakfast is excellent. Very good swimming pool. Internet only in the lobby (free) and the rooms are in need of refurbishment (Some are currently being refurbished.) Overall, a great place for budget travellers. I will stay there again. Well located for Pattaya entertainment.
value for money”
i was wondering why write abt place i did stay and write abt 2x in 1 year.its still fantastic value, paid abt 12 euro incl breakfast.same hotel with little extra refreshing touch in europe would cost 1 nite same as romeo palace for 1 week.i was surprised not to find off season quietness, they had many west asians, maybe next time i try off season somewhere half price elsewhere.it was hard in this humidity for busy staff, they were bit nervous.cleaning lady was closing windows on corridor even if by european nose it needed to have them open.but who needs to argue with cleaning lady.
good value for money good location”
I found my lost Oasis.Long time ago before they renamed it remodelled there was such hotel with tropical garden swimming pool that shelters from most of street noise.Romeo palace is like that. Also bit of pseudo-palace architecture/columns.Inside airy reception, adequate rooms.Bed is bit hard and thats good for back.Good baht-bus connections to rest of Pattaya. And to nerby small beach u have free tuk-tuk so u dont have to God forbid walk 8 minutes.Big breakfast of average variety, could maybe be served till 11 not just 10 a.m.,after all we are in Pattaya Thailand..
Overall good but visitors should know that the hotel and indeed the whole area is really a German enclave so a command of German would help. The pool was good and everything was clean but my room smelt too much of cigarettes.
The room smelled like pee. The bed was uncomfortably hard and there was no hot water for the shower.
not bad ”

Not expensive but enough facilites”
We stay here for 1 night. The room rate is lowest in this area if it is hotel. It is affordable rate but still has some facilities such as restraurant, bar, travel agency and pool. Although the rate doens't include ABF, I am satisfied with my stay. If I go around in Nakulue area, I definetelly stay here again.

No wifi in the room. The rooms very old and furnis”
Not good. Bad room. Very old furniture. Bed sheets. towels. No drinking water. No wifi. The room very very old. No value for money. Very bad experience. Don't wanna go again to this hotel. You must return my money.
Near restaurant, comfortable price, tour info.”
I was stay 2 nights there with my family and kid. The hotel located at the city central which easy to get local and/or western food, as well as tour information. 1 mn walk to 7/11 mart and 10mn walk to the beach (not swimming area). Breakfast is good but the swimming pool is not so clean. Staff were friendly and room is also good for me. In overall, I was recommended this hotel
nice stay, every time i stay here.”
Nice stay, no problem in this hotel, I stay so many times in this hotel, this the 6 time I stay in this hotel, location & staff mainly in the reception & house keeping are very good, Beach is also not far from this hotel, surrounded by bars & restaurants.
nice room and breakfast. pool nice too”
very good breakfast all you can eat style.comfy big bed. but noisy area at night. not a 5 star hotel and not the cleanest room but for the price it was ok. a 10baht songthaew takes you to the city. but dont goto ko lan. i thought pattaya was bad with filthy beaches. but ko lan is worse with more speedboats and big crowds. so stay away from ko lan. you have been warned! in fact dont goto pattaya full stop! there are way better places in thailand.
this is one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in this hotel need a make over very dated and old looking inside. a/c was working when it felt like it even tho they moved us to diffrent room hotel was hot and poor a/c sometime not work good at all. only thing Good was the buffet breakfast. the hotel look good on the outside but horrible on the inside i think the rateing of the hotel at 6.9 should be 0.0 or just a one. I glad i ony stayed few .
Well-worn hotel undergoing upgrades”
Hotel is managed by an Indian lady who is quite aloof and professional whereas the Indian guy (maybe her partner) was rude when I arrived 930am - no hello or anything just 'you'll have to wait - check-in is 2pm' and a pointed gesture when I asked if I could park my case somewhere - not very welcoming. The hotel is 200 yds/mtrs from the nice clean beachin Naklua, North Pattaya where many/most guests are Germans and many signs are written in German only. Naklua perhaps benefits from it's German connection - it is much cleaner than much of other parts of Pattaya/Jomtien & has everything you are likely to want & expect in Thailand plus it's a short cheap bus ride from the hedonist busy busy busy town centre & walking street. The shower in my room was just a dribble and cold for the first 4 days but then suddenly (& unexpectedly!)ran hot for the last three! Rooms are being upgraded with flat-screen tv's etc, most staff very pleasant & friendly - I'd go again - lot of smoke & smokers (& mosquitoes) in lobby but not much you can do about that if it bothers you (like me!)
