No toiletries - need to buy my own. The water heater rusty inside. There's a cloth inside the closet - maybe belongs to guests before me. There's only one staff available during my stay. The bathroom is clean. The room is comfortable.

JUST COMING FOR A WEDDING”
I was suprise the condition of the room. No refrigerator for us to store our baby milk. Dusty at several spot (not good for baby). No exhaust fan in the bathroom which make it smelly. Only one dustbin provided. Amenities for bathroom just 1 soap ang a small bottle of shampoo. The bed is so so. On contrary, staff is helpful and the parking is spacious. The wedding ballroom is great and caterer provide delicious meal.

Feel cheated for deposit”
My husband and I took this hotel since we have wedding on that day. We was from Sunway Lagoon so the easiest way for us to get ready is to check in in the nearby hotel and we found that the wedding place is the same place with this hotel. We paid RM50 for deposit and during that night, there was 1 guy who collected our money and he did informed us that we will be charged for rm20 for every 1 hour late check out. Check out time is 12pm. However, the next say we overslept and only wake up at 12.30pm. After getting ready, we hand over the key for check out process at 1.30pm. The malay lady (she was chubby), she said that our deposit is non refundable as we already exceed the check out time. So i told her that the guy said per hour is rm20. so it should be some balance if you deduct though and she still insist and said “your deposit is non-refundable”. When we enter the room that day, the bed was juz okay. However, the aircond take years to cooling up. We end up push the bed to feel the aircond (if not you will sure feel very hot). Other than that, it was juz okay. They provide drinking water in our room. There’s no toiletries. The lift was very slow and the building is old. I will choose other hotel if I had to stay in that area again.

we arrived late night at 11.52 pm.. the reception was locked up.did not know what to do.only written in reception call guard no.he took RM 50.00 for deposit even though we paid full booking online. on the way going to our room, the corridor no light. went to the room, it look like abadoned room with deem light and room was smelly. outside verandah so dark no light.. look like ghost room.my son was terrified and tv was not working.. no phone in room to call reception.. we just moved out and left the hotel..what a wate...overall bad experience and will never stay there at all..

Very BAD!!! Got big cockroaches !! No toothpaste no toothbrush. Only shampoo and small gel soap provided. Got stain on the linen, like blood stain. Room so stinky!! Bad bad badddd experience ever!!!

Worst stay ever !!!”
Paid RM116 and totally not worth the money !! Basic cleanliness is out ! Found cockroaches in the room which and I immediately checkout once saw the room condition . Toilet is not clean , sheets have stains . I’ve statin just 15 mins in the room .

Good location for wedding events”
Roof garden is a very good location to held a wedding however the hotel management needs provide at least a small refrigerator in every rooms so the guest can used it for their personal usage. Location wise is not really accessible for public transport as u really need a car to drive around the area.

Too secluded and need car to travel around!”
The location is secluded and if you would like to stay in the vicinity of Bukit Jelutong, it will be a wise decision to have your own transport as otherwise you will have a hard time even looking for a place to eat at! Being a budget hotel, their front desk office is closed after 10pm so do not check in too late as there will not be any other hotels nearby to stay in for the night. Should you get lost enroute here, do give them a head's up so that they will know what is the time to expect you there. Would be great if the shops in the area is opened for operations, especially food outlets.

Hope can improve”
Disapointed with the coordination between hotel recept and guard. We came in late to the hotel. I have already informed agoda and hotel via email but wasn't told that the reception closed at 11pm. We reached ard 2am in the morning and upon arrival was surprised to see that the reception was closed but was attended by a security guard on duty. I showed him my agoda hotel voucher but he didn't ask me anything. He just told me that office already closed. I ask him for any number that I can contact regarding my booked rooms but he said he don't have any number. I wanted to call agoda malaysia when he approached me again and ask me my name. I showed him my bookings and he showed me an envelopes containing keys to the rooms. I felt relief but at the same time upset because the security guard wasn't aware of wgat is happening. He should be more aleart and aware of instruction given by office.

Excellent value for money”
I made an impromptu booking at this hotel and did not regret it one bit. Loved the room. The one with window view is large and was surprised to see a large balcony. Great to relax and unwind if i stayed longer. Place was quiet and room was comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. Cons, the cab driver did not know the place, so had to use Google Maps to find landmarks (Pizza San Francisco) and then found that it was in located inside the Jaya Grocers building.

A good base for travelling.”
The Roof Garden Hotel is something of a misnomer; as with no lounges or eating areas it is hardly a hotel. As a base for sleeping and travelling we found it quite adequate for a short stay. There's a good grocery shop in the same block, but for good local food it's necessary to drive to other nearby areas. Reception staff were excellent.
