A great nd cheap hotel in the heart of old town”
We have stayed at this hotel several times since 2017 and love it. The rooms are well equipped and cleaned regulary. The price is amazing for what you get. Don't be put off by the cheap price as I am sure you would enjoy this hotel. It has a lift which is a bonus and all the staff are friendly.

Incredible Staff”
The Roseate Hotel was perfect. It was located in an area that is accessible to everything. It was Songkran and the staff is an incredible job. The atmosphere was fun. The breakfast was great. The rooms were spacious and clean. I do not have any negative comments about the Roseate Hotel. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

This hotel has all you need. Rooms are clean and have coffee making facilities (but no tea bags!!) Good breakfast and very helpful staff. Hotel not far from airport and transport can be organised for pick up and drop off at a reduced rate than using direct from airport. Also within walking distance of the big Sunday market which is massive!! I would definitely recommend.

Great location by the North Gate of the Old city. 7-11 is a few steps away for anything you need. Breakfast is a buffet with good quality food, a selection of western and Thai options. Overall, this hotel is friendly, clean and good value.

The nicest room I stayed at in Thailand. The hotel is beautiful and staff was SO friendly. They let us check in early (around 10am), we rented motorbikes from the hotel and it was a quick and easy process (250 baht for 24 hrs) and when our hot water in the shower wasn’t working they sent someone up immediately and fixed it. Near the north gate of the old city, easy walking to Sunday market as well as getting to Samoeng loop on motorbikes.

The location is very good as it is just a short walk to Changpuak Gate (North Gate). It is very accessible to catch tuk-tuk or the songtaew to any part of the city. It is also very accessible to the fresh market and night market which is just across the street. Room is spacious and generally clean. The staff there are friendly especially the lady at the travel counter who is also very helpful in recommending day trips. If you are a jazz music enthusiast, there is the North Gate Jazz Co-op down the road towards the Changpuak Gate. Breakfast spread was decent--not fancy but still offered a variety of local and Western breakfasts. We had a good experience with the hotel.

Comfy Bed!!!”
Just outside of the north gate, this hotel is in a quiet location, yet somehow manages to have a jazz club just down the street. The breakfast was just fine, and the staff was very pleasant. I plan on staying here again when I visit the next time.

Booked at the last minute! Perfect choice!”
I loved this hotel! I had to book at the last minute bc a hostel didnt work out. Booked an hour before going in the room. Reliable wifi. Close to great cafes and massage places. The wonderful woman downstairs helped me booked my tours to the elephants and Doi Suthep and a taxi to the airport. They helped print my boarding passes before i left. WONDERFUL HOTEL. Wish i couldve stayed in Chiang Mai longer. I highly recommend the cafe next door!

Internet speed was OK- just do-able for video calls. Room service was excellent. Daily service. Very clean. Breakfast service was excellent. Food OK for vegan, better for vegetarian. And for everyone else it's probably great as there is a big choice.

Great and central.”
Despite some poorly organized renovations that week, I highly recommend this hotel. It is central to my favorite part of Chiang Mai, with everything an easy red bus, Grab or overpriced taxi away. The internet was the weak link, which is quite silly in 2019. It used an archaic log-in system, frustrated by requiring you to log-in again every time. Once logged it, it had barely adequate speeds. For any serious internet needs, you had to go to the main lobby. So not cool! The staff was great - helpful, and most had adequate English for foreigners.

The hotel is slightly outside the centre where the bars and restaurants are (60-100BHT each way in tuc tuc). It’s quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was really nice! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Perfect location right by the North Gate - breakfast was included with our stay and was delicious, can easily book tours and rent motorbikes directly from them which made it very convenient. HIGHLY recommend going to the North Gate Jazz Club for some live music and drinks in the evening! Not to mention it's walkable to everything within the Old City if you aren't up for renting a motorbike.

Nice, clean hotel with a lovely spacious room. Very friendly and helpful staff, who helped to arrange tours and transport. Loved coming back from a long day out to a lovely clean tidy room, fresh towels and bedding :) Our booking did not include breakfast which was fine, we found some lovely cafes for breakfast within a 5 min walking distance of the hotel. If your booking does not include breakfast, I recommend going to the local cafes, as when enquiring at the desk we were told breakfast would be an extra 250baht per morning. Expensive when we could get a decent sized meal and coffee for around 120-150baht!
