Wonderful Hotel with good service”
Rosedale Hotel Kowloon is situated at Tai Kok Tsui, Kowloon, although it is quite far away from the hustle and bustle of places like TST and Causeway Bay, it is a good place to stay in to experience the local spirit of Hong Kong. The hotel is rather new and room designs are very classy. Service from the staff were top notch. Something worth mentioning will be the shuttle bus services provided from the hotel to go places like Mongkok Langham place shopping mall, and TST among others. Great hotel. worth coming back

Best hotel I've had in HK”
Since Oct 2015, I've been going back-and-forth in HK. The other hotels I've stayed in were in Central. For the same price point, I got a lot better experience with Rosedale Hotel! It maybe because everything is generally cheaper outside of Hong Kong Island. For this stay, I spent 9D8N with them. Checking in was a breeze and hassle-free. There were enough elevators so you don't have too wait too long, though one of the four elevators went into maintenance during my last two days but wasn't much of a problem. Free wi-fi is good most of the time but was spotty in some instances. They accommodated all of my requests including merging the two beds into one and the travel adaptor I needed. Gym at the hotel was decent, two treadmills, one multipurpose machine and pairs of dumbbells up to 10kg. I just hope they add heavier free weights. Bar at the 30th floor offers a nice view. Food was reasonably-priced for a hotel bar. My favorite one is the Roasted Buffalo Wings Skewer. The Tiger Prawns were also really good. I only had fruit punch as I was not in the drinking mood when I went there. I was supposed to stay in that hotel for 7N only but I decided to extend one more night. They were very helpful in making the extension of my stay as seamless as possible even though I made the booking online since it was cheaper than the walk-in rate. I got the same room so I did not have to transfer rooms. Location is convenient! From the airport, ride Airport Express and alight at Kowloon. From there, you can ride shuttle K5 and alight at the last stop - the stop is less than a minute walk from the hotel. Alternatively, you can ride the Tung Chung MTR line from Kowloon to Olympic Station and walk around 7min to the hotel. Hotel is also a 10-15min walk to Mongkok MTR Station. There's also an hourly shuttle from the hotel going to Mongkok MTR station, if you're too lazy to walk. Would definitely come back to Rosedale!

Extremely Friendly Staff , with good english.”
Staying in Rosedale was a good experience. We had a warm welcome by the staffs and checking in was done efficiently. Although their hotel space is small (Most of the hong kong hotel are small in terms of space/room), its good enough for us to sleep over. Ideally, we will be traveling the whole time in hong kong, so you wouldn't spend much time in the hotel. Hence, we are able to get the king size bed, so sleeping throughout the night wasn't a problem for us. Rosedale, also provide the bus shuttle , although you will need to take a cab or walk back from (Mongkok or Olympic station - 15 min walk ) , it will be great if they can also provide a return bus shuttle service from the drop off point. Overall , the hotel is very decent, it is very near to kowloon station ( Ferry Terminal to macau), and mongkok. Good Service , comfortable bed and also the Free WIFI is what we love the most about this hotel. P/S : Taxi from airport will cost you 220HKD + 5 HKD on each luggage, if you travel two person or more , I will most recommend you to take taxi from airport. It will be convenient anyway .If you decided to take the Airport Express train, you will have to choose kowloon station. From there you will need to take a taxi to the hotel , unless you decided to carry your heavy luggage to the hotel. I hope it helps . Cheeers

Good value for money”
Rosedale Hotel is located at Tai Kok Tsui which is an older area. But there are alot of restaurants around there. Going to Mongkok is within walking distance. The hotel is nice and clean. Even though the room is not very large but very functional. Price for the room is very good and good value for money compare with other hotels in Hong Kong. The staff is very efficient during check in and out. All in all, I am happy with Rosedale Hotel.

Great location, friendly staff but small rooms”
Read the reviews on Agoda and decided to book (plus, the price was very affordable). Was not expecting to be in such a nice hotel - really can't say anything negative at the Rosedale. It's about a 10-15 walk to Olympic Station in Kowloon and a stone's throw away from Mongkok. There are restaurants, stores and a McDonalds (MMmm!) on the other side of Tai Kok Tsui road. If you don't mind smallish rooms, I would not hesitate to recommend the Rosedale to any solo traveller - the price point is unbeatable i think!

Excellent business hotel but small rooms”
We wanted to taste the different areas of Hong Kong, so we first stayed on Hong Kong Island at the Courtyard, then moved to Kowloon. The hotel is very close to the Hong Kong MTR plus they have a complimentary shuttle. We walked from the Olympic Station and used this approach each time we went somewhere until we departed to go to Macau when we used their shuttle to the Kowloon Station. (PS: hard to get a taxi during rush hour in the late afternoon.) Went to Disneyland from here and spent the day, coming back in the late afternoon to rest and relax then went back to Disneyland for the night fireworks display. Since it was October and Halloween was close at hand, Disneyland had many costumed people/actors. Since the hotel was so close to the convenience of the MTR, this allowed us this flexibility. The Rosedale, as was the Courtyard, excellent settings to allow travelers easy access to many attractions, restaurants, etc. The hotel was just a year old so everything was new. Only issue was the size of the room, very small even for an executive level room.

Nice hotel in local hong kong”
Used to stay in HK for many years and now back on business trip - love this tai Kok tsui area as its really local and got great food. If you want to experience local Hong Kong but still be near the touristy Mongkok area this is the perfect choice. The roofbar is a nice place to chill out too. Tho the not so good part about this hotel was the speed of wifi (slightly slow, but free) and the small sized bathroom. When I washed my face, water would splash every where as the sink is quite small.

Cozy and Clean Hotel with friendly service”
Had a comfortable 5 nights stay with Rosedale Hotel Kowloon. Though there's no bath tub to soak after a tired day but still ok for us. With a King size bed for 3 pax was just nice, only a bit cramp due to few luggage lying around. Hotel is surrounded with convenient eateries and taxi stand at door step only. Olympic MTR is just 5-10 mins walk opposite from hotel, also a bus interchange nearby. Hotel also provide free shuttle bus to Kowloon. Walking to Mongkok is about 15 mins from back of hotel. Taxi fares to Mongkok Ladies Street and Temple Street cost HKD20-23 depends on traffic condition. Overall, a pleasant stay with my mum (74yrs) and my kid (9yrs).

Our second stay here”
In January 2018 we stayed 3 nights including breakfast in a non-smoking deluxe room with king bed. Well located in Kowloon, about 3/10 of mile walk to Olympic metro station and offers a hotel shuttle to Mongkok East metro which goes to Shenzhen China and to the Kowloon Airport Train Station. Staff is helpful, especially the ground floor concierge desk. Rooms in Hong Kong are small and the Rosedale is no exception. Breakfast choices were somewhat limited but included pancake making machine and eggs made to order. Bed was on the hard side. WiFi worked fine. Rooftop bar offers great views but is a bit pricey.

Good well apointed hotel, location pretty good too”
All hotel rooms in Hong Kong tend to be very small and those in this hotel are no exception, so don’t expect more room than is absolutely necessary. Having said that, the rooms were very well laid out and full of the latest gadgets – they were also clean, comfortable and ergonomically perfect and much better than in some of the ones we have stayed in on Hong Kong Island! The food was good, though a bit more variety would have elevated it to a higher level, and sitting outside in the rooftop restaurant was a delight even though the temperature wasn’t that warm – the views of the city and Victoria Harbour were amazing! The hotel runs a shuttle bus to Mongkok MTR station and it’s just a short walk from there to attractions such as the Ladies Market and Nathan Road – you have to walk back, or get the MTR back to Olympian City station which is then a short walk back to the hotel. Alternatively taxis are cheap and plentiful! A great hotel to stay in Hong Kong, with reasonable size rooms and at reasonable prices – we’d stay here again!

Sparkling New Comfy Hotel”
The night I stayed, the Rosedale Hotel was only 4-months old. 10-minute taxi ride from Hung Hom train station Kowloon. Very efficient use of space in the room. Tastefully decorated. The room was a bit small but par for Hong Kong. Near the Olympic MTR station. Friendly, professional staff who are obviously pleased to be a part of the team for this sparkling new hotel. I booked this hotel rather quickly online just hours before I checked in. I was pleased to find an attractive, clean hotel with a comfy bed and efficient and friendly staff who had me checked in before I could dig out my reservation number from my computer.

Pleasantly accommodating, efficient service”
Our stay in Rosedale Hotel Kowloon was a good experience. Imagine Hong Kong to be a very fast and hectic city, shopping and traveling around it was exhaustive, Rosedale provides the kind of relief after a long day. Besides that the staff is very professional; every question or need that we requested are answered promptly, precisely, and honestly. I would consider staying at Rosedale again on my next trip to Hong Kong.

Comfortable, central hotel with great staff”
Overall, this was a great hotel and offered exceptional value for money in a city with very pricey hotel suites. The staff were very responsive to our every need --- check in and check out occurred at lightning speed, and on a day in which we returned to our suite before housekeeping had had a chance to clean it, they gave us a call and asked us if we were going out later that night, arranging to come back and clean it then. The suite is small, like all suites in Hong Kong, but it's very comfortable and a welcome respite after a long day moving around Hong Kong. The hotel is centrally located, in walking distance of the busy shopping/food district of Mongkok and just a quick journey to Hong Kong Island. However, its closest MTR (metro/subway) station, Olympic, is quite inconveniently located in terms of MTR transfers. Therefore, if you are looking to catch the MTR a lot, you might consider taking the hotel's free half-hourly shuttle bus to Mongkok MTR station, which offers better connection options.

Good experience overall”
My stay for 4 nights was very good because of the location which is convenient for me to travel to the places I planned to visit during my trip. The shuttle bus also provided me with an alternative route to my destination. There are convenience stores nearby too as well as cha chan ting which I can have my breakfast at, all of which is not bad. The rooms is small but I believe it's the norm for HK standards, however, it is very neat and tidy which certainly made my stay a better one. The room service made my room everyday & I am very thankful for the job well done by the staffs as it allows me to have a good rest after a long day of shopping & sight seeing. The view was quite good too considering I was on the 20th floor. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to HK & I will book a room with Rosedale hotel Kowloon - Mongkok again if I were to go to HK.

Very good hotel in a good place for a fair price”
We stayed a week in HK and chose Rosedale Hotel. The hotel is located in Kowloon, HKs northern part. It is in a skyscraper, featuring a hotel bar in the 30th floor with stunning views across the western part of Kowloon and downwards south to Hong Kong Island. The rooms are fairly small for western standards (for HK standrds this is not unusual) and very clean. The house keeping staff is always giving you the option to call them as soon as you're ready to leave the room, for example when you were out the night before. Definitely would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to experience HK.

Great hotel in a quieter location”
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel becuase the hotel is new, and therefore is quite clean with a lot of good features to it. I booked the executive room as I managed to get it at a great rate complete with breakfast however, I'm not sure if i would have chosen this hotel if the rates were not as good. The hotel staff were quite good by Hong Kong standards, and were helpful in all dealings with them. The rooms were a bit on the small side although reasonable by Hong Kong standards, and were very modern in its decor and features. Although I am a light traveller, there is not a lot of space if u had big suit cases. The bed was large but a little on the hard side, which i got used to. Nice amenities and toileteries were provided in the room. The bathroom was small but unique in its layout and design with clear/opaque glass wall which can be switched on or off to see through into the room. Overall, the room was very comfortable during my stay with a good view of the surrounding area and water front. Breakfast was included in my rate, and the whilst the food was good, it could have been a bit more extensive in choice. It consisted of basic Asian and Western style breakfast. The gym/fitness room was quite basic and small as with most hotels, so i am neither satisfied or dissatisfied. In terms of location, it's situated in between the Mongkok station and Olympian station, both around 10 mins walking distance. This was ok for me, although it may be a bit remote for some others. I found this location to be quieter than the usual hotels along or close to Nathan Road, which suited me as it meant it was a bit quieter albeit a little less convenient to access the some things. Overall, the location was ok for me. In summary, I enjoyed my stay and the value was excellent due to the rate i purchased at. Of course, the rate varies depending on the time of year and whether it's high or low season.

Exceptional”
We took the airport express train to Kowloon station and had the free K5 bus to drop us beside a building next to the hotel, which is very convenient even traveling with younger children. We had a very comfortable 5-night stay in Rosedale. We like the interior design so much. The room is cosy and every necessity provided. Cleaning services greatly done but make sure that you place the "wood leaf' on the pillow if you wish bed sheet to be changed and towels off-the-shelf if new towels needed. It is just 5-10 minutes walk to Olympic MTR station. However, I would like to suggest the hotel to provide shuttle to Olympic and also shuttle service back from the designated places, instead of one-way only. The hotel might consider to slightly alter its buffet breakfast menu everyday, eg. noodle to kueh-teow, hard-boiled egg to fried egg/ scrambled egg, etc. Hotel staffs are very friendly. They even helped us to load and unload our luggages onto and off the shuttle during our way back to airport. Thanks to Rosedale Kowloon.

Home away from Home”
Excellent service. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a surprise by the duty managers who made our stay very pleasant. Then, on our 2nd last day in Hong Kong, we were suffering really bad bouts of food poisoning. The duty managers made sure that they were available at any time we needed to seek medical assistance and even provided us with more pillows so that we could rest more comfortably. They even made the effort to call to check up if we were managing alright. Not to mention, the room was spacious and comfortable. The scenery, amazing and distance to the mtr and shops were a pleasant walk away. Overall, we were really really glad we chose to stay in Rosedale Kowloon. A side note, the food poisoning was so severe we were hospitalised for 3 days back when we got back to Singapore.
