Another Awesome Stay at the Rosedale”
I spent 6 nights in this great hotel. Remember, it's a Chinese 4 star, so don't over expect. I have spent many trips at this hotel and love the area, the location and the staff. It's actually my favorite Chinese style breakfast buffet. If you're looking for western breakfast, find a US branded hotel. Directly over the Metro Changgang Lu station that will take you anywhere in the city. I actually took the Metro to the airport on Saturday and made it in less than an hour, for 7RMB! Lots of great food and pampering in the area. Plenty to do if you don't go out and party. Great comfortable room, friendly staff and super location. My favorite hotel in Guangzhou

Great location! The subway is just below the hotel and there is a good massage parlour at level 2. Great for those who are there for the Canton Fair or those who have to walk a lot during your trip. The hotel provides shuttle buses to the Canton Fair as well so that's a plus! Love the breakfast selection of local and western food and they let their guests enjoy breakfast without rushing us to keep. Excellent! Would recommend to those who plan on visiting for business trips! Will be back again!

I've traveled Guangzhou, China during 18-24th July 2019. The hotel was very good though I expected a bit larger bathroom. However, the best part of it was its location. I just needed to go downstairs to catch the subway and from where you can move any place in Guangzhou. Their breakfast, swimming pool, gym facilities were very good too. Considering the sorrounding market place, hospital, food shop, I would like to rate it 'excellent'.

Great value for money. Very good location with free breakfast, which is quite good. The location is right at the subway station close to city center, so very easy to move around. The hotel is a bit old with some rooms, carpet and bathrooms in need of renovation, but the facilities including gym, lap pool and sauna are superb.

Good hotel with all facilities for stay. Very near to changgang MRT C2 exit. Buffet breakfast was good . I think this hotel is 4 star in Chinese tradition. Carpet need to be changed as it is in old. Staff was good and suggest to be more enthusiastic for guest.

No Where Better in Guangzhou!”
The Rosedale is my home away from home in Guangzhou. I would not stay anywhere else! The rooms are a bit odd and quirky, the walls faded and the carpet worn..... but after all it is a Chinese 4 star and you get what you get. The location and the super staff are the key to this amazing property. Located on Line of the Guangzhou Metro, it is just minutes from virtually anywhere you need to go. I would never take a taxi or DiDi and spend hours in traffic when I can just walk downstairs and get the metro anywhere in the city. The breakfast is what I call an "Amazing Chinese Breakfast Buffet". If you're looking for Western style breakfast, spend $400 and stay in the Westin..... But for boiled cabbage and over cooked eggs with pork and beans you can't go wrong, and it's usually another $4 or $5 to your room. Fantastic! The staff are very helpful and always give me an upgrade, usually to of or there eclectic suites. Just expect things to be crazy during Canton fair like always!

Affordable price with the best location. Walking distance to malls. Long-distance bus to HK was stopped right in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, it happens to be a coronavirus outbreak during my visit. Hotel receptionist request for a body temperature check. We could only eat at McDonald's next door during our stay.
