Double room had essentials such as tea, coffee, towels and en suite and a tv. It was comfortable and clean despite it not being modern. Decent price too, and cool location (opposite park and TfL rail is local).

Light was never been fixed”
The room didn't have sufficient light and 2 of the lights were broken. After letting the reception know for several times, they never fixed it. Very poor service. I stayed there for nearly 2 weeks with very low light.

We did not get the room as expected for a couple as it was really small. Also, they don't provide any toiletries and wifi was not working properly...

Don’t Recommend ”
Had prepaid confirmation from Agoda & receptionist confirmed booking for Double room on arrival at 3:30pm (checkin from 12). He looked at my male partner & said ‘twin room’. I said no, double room he didn’t like we were both male & spent 15mins trying to change our room. When I questioned why changing room given it’s ready & confirmed he yelled at me ‘you’re not allowed to ask questions! If you ask, I will throw you out because you will be trouble’.. Added a deposit of £20 which he said he ‘can charge us £100 if I wants too’ Illegal to treat same sex couples like this. Extremely uncomfortable stay, no bath matt, no shower/shampoo, noisy room. Couldn’t relax.

Disgusting rooms from hallway to stairs. Strong stench of weed. It clearly does not mention theres no toilet inside the room. I would rather book another hotel than to pay them for an upgrade. The room had a tiny overhead light and the room itself was quite small and smelly. The shared(public toilet ) were disgusting. Lowest quality overall. So much for 50 bucks a night. I checked in for 10 mins and left because it seemed unsafe.

Booked single room with en-suite, given single room with shared bathroom, WiFi terrible- spoke to reception and didn’t help in any way. Checked out early as room not clean and extremely dusty.

Don’t stay here ”
Booked this is a last minute option, on arriving at the property the receptionist was helpful. However the rooms were that bad ( mould in the shower, tiles coming of the floor, stained bed sheets) I refused to stay here and booked another hotel close by. DO NOT STAY HERE

Clean, warm, friendly staff- not enough of them but the hotel was packed so this may be why. Breakfast was too early at 6-9 but full buffet offered when it was ready, No lift offered, ideally located to transport and restaurants and underground routes into central London. Twin rooms and free wi-fiWou;d stay any time i had a meeting in London.

Nice stay”
Staff was very nice and helpful all the time. The room was clean and comfortable. Location is quite far from central London, but there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel which makes it easier to get to the underground station. There is also a beautiful park in front and convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance.

Cheap. Got what I paid for”
Was attending to see London East. Wanted to find a cheap place close to an underground. This hotel was 15 min walk from Gant Hill's station. The receptionist was also a bar tender in the hotel bar, so the service could be slow. Shower was destroyed, but all in all, an OK place if you just need a bed and bath room

Room where clean shower was good one thing power point ie plugs only two one was not buy the kettle? if two people needed to charge phone and watch tele well. Other that that it was a good clean Hotel.
