I will recommend it!”
Eventhough its a bit expensive comparing to others, the cleanliness, friendly staff and the location is great. The hotel has a lot of facilities we needed (AC, Hot water, etc). The staff helped us in everything we needed, and always smiling. We would come back here and we will recommend it to our friends. One thing we didnt like too much was that we had to pay additional for the breakfast. If you are staying in el Nido, this hotel is the one you are looking for. You have what you pay. And everything is near.

Good Location and comfortable....”
Good location, meters away from the beach and accessible to any transportation. Had a comfortable stay with nice and friendly staff suggesting where the best place to go. The room was clean and the reception lobby is wide and spacious to hang out while waiting. The water filter system is great, clean water....The rate just affordable and reasonable, sure to come back and stay the next time I visit El Nido.

Just right”
We arrived late in our hotel due to Lexxus Shuttle. The private van we hired came 1.5 hous late beacuse they ran out of vans despite the fact that I called them, a week before, a day beofre and 4 hours before our estimated arrival date. We arrived in El Nido around 9pm and so we were so exhausted and just wanted to go straight to bed. Unfortunately, there was a mix up in our bookings with Agoda. We booked a double double deluxe room with extra bed for 5 persons. We want us girls to be in one room because we usually do our chikahan before we go to bed. Since our room was occupied that night, they gave us one quad loft and one matrimonial deluxe room. We didn't insisted on what I originally booked since we are already tired due to the long drive. The next day, they transferred us to a premium double double deluxe room and it's just perfect for us. It's a big room with veranda overlooking the beach. The recption have been very accomodating and that's what's important. We're not very particular with the hotel amenities since most of the day we spend on the tours. There's really not much to do in town but to eat and eat and eat lol!

Power maintenance”
There was a 24hrs power maintenance during our stay. Not their fault but they didn't turn on their power generator until after 3hrs and when they did, you cannot turn on the TV or air conditioner.Good thing it's not that hot and we island hop the rest of the day. The staff front desk is not very accommodating and doesn't smile but don't be afraid, they will still answer your questions if you ask them. It's not a 5 star hotel so don't expect too much. The room is a bit small but the bathroom is pretty good. Value for money, a bit pricey. Breakfast is not included but is served buffet style so that's good although there's really nothing special just the typical breakfast. Also, come in early if you are planning to eat a lot, the resto gets pretty crowded during breakfast. They will clean your room if you wish to and the security is good. The hotel is in the town center. You will be near everything, the stores, the beach and restaurants. Overall, it's an awesome experience. Tip: Do your research. There's a lot of hotels, inns, pension houses that your can choose from, they're all online. Decide first if you want to stay in the town center or beach front or both then work on your budget. El nido is sooo worth it. Enjoy! =D

Very simple accommodation, but clean room with reasonable bed/ bathroom”
The hotel seem expensive at first, but I don't know if there are better value for money options in El Nido. The room was ok, clean bathroom and reasonable bed. The air con wasn't working one of the four nights we stayed, but it was due to a power outage, something that seems really usual in El Nido. But the hotel provided an additional fan, which really helped considering the hot weather. You have to ask for the room to be cleaned (leave the key in a separated box on the reception counter) and they might clean it late in the afternoon. One day we came back from a tour at 5pm and the room wasn't cleaned yet (we left at 10am). Don't expect anything great, but it was a good stay. We were expecting a worse experience after reading all the reviews at booking and agoda (from Rovic's and other hotels in El Nido).

Best choice!”
I’ll recommend this hotel for their clean room and nice staff. It was near in the restaurant and night life in El Nido. Everything is worth it!

Good, clean your place in the heart of El Nido”
Booked here for one night and ended up extending to 6. The place has an amazing rooftop views which is available until 10pm at. Great views over the whole of El Nido. Staff were very friendly and is definitely worth the money. Will be back

Good value for the money.”
There are lots of mixed reviews for this place. However, generally, I would say this was a pretty good experience. One major downside was that the wifi was down but that seems to be a norm in El Nido. I do think that there are cheaper or nicer or more unique places that you can stay but overall, this was good. Side note, the hotel staff, because there is barely internet, are pretty unresponsive when you are not there. We had to change a booking and then had to have Agoda contact them since we didn't hear back through email.

A nice hotel but noise was an issue ”
Hotel is in a great location however I wouldn't want to stay here here again. The room was very noisy from a ticking thermostat & air con which sounded like a train. My room was at the front of the building and I could hear a lot of noise from the Main Street at night. The staff were really helpful and the islands around El Nido are AMAZING!!!

Dazed and Confused”
After a five and a half hour van trip to El Nido I was ready for a nice room with a hot shower. The staff had no record of my Agoda Booking, and I was initially told that I was at the "Wrong Rovic Hotel. They told me they have a second location and perhaps I was at the wrong location. I presented my confirmation sheet I received from Agoda from a week earlier, and then was advised I was at the right location; but no record for me existed. I waited :15 minutes while a supervisor was called to the front desk. They were able to find a vacant room for me, and eventually led me to this room. But they did not have a key for this room,,,,,,another :10 minutes waiting for someone to locate this missing key......I finally got in. No hot water though. The next morning the staff asked me to move all my things to a different room; apparently the first room they gave me was for (4) guests, and we were two. So I packed up all my things and schlepped on upstairs to a different room with no hot water.....I was sadly disappointed with Rovic's, and would not stay there again or recommend it.

Good location for diving”
We chose this hotel because of its convenient location to our diveshop in the water front. It's also exactly in the town centre and is in walking distance with lots of different restaurants. Our room is quite spacious with balcony on the 2nd floor, however, I will suggest to move to 1st floor which was what we did after 2 days of low water pressure and no hot water for shower. The air conditioning and electricity supply were very unstable, but I guess that's the same for most of the hotels there on el nido when there were full house during the high season. We had tried the breakfast there for one day morning only as there were many options around and they were much better. Overall, I would say it's still good for its value.

Nothing fancy but good location”
Location is within the El Nido town and close to beach, shops and etc...Nothing fancy with this hotel. Their bathroom faucet is a bit dirty. Breakfast is acceptable.

Good”
The hotel is near the beach, but that should not be the sole basis of the price. We booked a room for three, and it was too small that we barely have a place for our things. When we arrived, we heard one of the staff complaining why they needed to clean a room every day. That was a dismay. In addition, there was a fire that happened a couple of blocks away from the hotel when we were staying in El Nido. When that was over, and we were returning to our room in the fourth floor, I asked the receptionist if they had an alarm if ever something like that happens again. She said they had no alarm and that they would just go door to door if ever that happens again, so that was disappointing. But in fairness to the staff, they were all kind and accomodating.

Cold be better”
I book that place for my first night and I choose it because it was just next to my diving shop. There are a lot of choice in El Nido and a lot of them are overpriced.. Rovic's is one of them. It's a new hotel, with big room, nice shower room with hot water.. but no breakfast in low season, that's not a big deal, there is a lot of place where you can have a decent and not overpriced breakfast around.. Rooms have bad quality A/C which are super noisy. So you have to choose between the noise and the heat.. Also the pillow (obviously recent) were too big and hard, so I couldn't sleep well that night. I spent the rest of time in Bulskamp Inn (Masagana st) which is cheaper/simpler, super clean not too hot, with very helpful staff..

Friendly and accommodating staff and good location”
Hotel staff are friendly. WiFi only works at the lobby and it's very slow! My mobile data is way more faster than their WiFi Connection. The A/C is not cooler too! It's pricey for this kind of facilities. Only good thing is the hotel located in the heart of El Nido town.

Poor value for the money”
Good location. Small room, thought it would be bigger from the hotel pics. Wifi limited to the lobby. no fridge in room. no brewed coffee in hotel restaurant and have to place food order with front desk. AFAIK, no el nido hotels have elevators, beware if you a heavy bag. another reviewer stated you can find same room in other el nido hotels for less. I now understand that statement. If i return to el nido, Rovics is not my first choice. FYI: Internet service in el nido is poor with slow connection, Globe and SMART will throttle down your speed.

Decent hotel in great location”
It's not exactly a 5 star hotel but when you look at what else is available in El Nido, especially downtown, this place is probably as good as it gets. Cant beat the location though. It's a short 5 min walk to the beach area where all of the Tours pick up and drop off. The staff although helpful could have been a little friendlier. Bathroom reeks of sulfur but again my guess is it's on par for what else is available in the area. Rest of room was clean enough. Was surprised to see cable TV hooked up, helped out with those late nights awake trying to adjust to the time zone. No wifi in the rooms and wifi was super weak in the lobby, completely unreliable. Breakfast is not worth it if it doesn't come with your reservation and you have to pay for it. On the other hand, i suppose its good that they at least give you an option. Overall, I'd stay here again, knowing now what I can expect (or not expect).

Excellent”
Old bed frame broke during our stay but staff took immediate response. In few minutes, we were transferred to another room. If you book in this hotel, just request that your room will be at ground to 2nd floor. We occupied 4th floor room and it was tiring to go up from ground to fourth because there is no elevator.

Overpriced”
Just like the food and establishment around this area, this hotel too is overpriced. Breakfast was satisfactory but you have to pay 200 pesos per person (roughly 4$ each). Of all the hotels i've been to, this is the only hotel that does not include breakfast for free. Muddy (flooded) entrance, no elevator, poor shower (you cant control the temperature, its either cold or too hot) and very thin walls (you could hear people from the next room). El Nido is a paradise but locals keep ripping off tourists.

Overexpensive”
The hotel was fine. Rooms were very basic but OK. That said, the hotel is expensive compared to other similar locations in Asia generally, but also compared to the Philippines. The whole area is overpriced to be fair but people still come so... I found the reception staff warmed to us and were actually helpful and polite. One thing to note generally in El Nido, the groundwater is contaminated with E coli. The restaurants even warn you in their menus. I wouldn't have come here with a very young child if I had known. The hotel is OK overall.
