Location: very close to the Dalat market and good walking distance to Xuan Huong lake. Room: so biggg, for the space itself it could reach 3 and a half star standard room. And the bed was very comfy. Amenities: enough of everything - tea/coffee for morning, water bottle everyday, fan, hair dryer, wardrobe, hangers for clothing, big mirror for make-up, desk with white light lamp, flat screen tv with decent foreign cable choices (though the screen quality is not that great, i guess the tv was just too old), mini fridge... Staff: polite and helpful. Room service: very nice and efficient. Hotel service: they have motorbikes and cars for rent per day with good price (about the same as many other bike renting places), their automatic motorbikes get rented out really fast so you better ask for one early enough (the manual ones are harder to ride for foreigner). Breakfast: buffet style. Overalls it was a pleasant stay at the hotel. I would come back here for the comfort when in Dalat.

We spent 2 nights here in Double Suit room, quiet with sound-proof, the room is large equipped with Smart Tv, sauna bathtub, king bed. The hotel has good location. You can buy the breakfast directly in the hotel for 100k VND/each. Breakfast is delicious from main dishes to desserts; not so crowded even in the weekend. If you need to travel to the airport, try to arrange with the hotel, they’ll help you book a taxi for only 180k VND one way, cheaper than anywhere else. Recommended, I’ll be back here next time we visit Dalat. Thanks Roy for a great experience.

My family had a trip with 2 babies so the location is not totally good. However, other things were absolutely amazing, from super friendly and useful staff (he always smiled and offered help) to clean and newly-furnished rooms . This is a quite new hotel, so despite not enough guests for morning buffet, it was still served with best quality that offered wide variety of options from different kinds of noodles to bread and jam. More importantly, all food tasted good and newly-cooked. For sure, I will stay here for next trips and recommend my friends. Hopefully, the hotel and the staff will be striving for better service.

Pros: Easy access to market n eateries. Friendly staff. Cons: Cleanliness can be further improved coz I see dust balls on bathroom door. Suggestion: A bath mat near the shower door will be appreciated as there is a small gap in the shower door n water will seep out whenever we take our shower.

Car park overloaded in lasts days of our stay, security cannot help but also very rude. Some miscommunication between internal staffs but they tried to concluded that the mistake is from us (guests). All these make us feel uncomfortable which despite the very honesty & kind ơner from the beginning.

Additionally, it seems that during this time our security guards were extremely confused, which was their unusual and impatient way of behavior with you. As the concern you had about the misunderstanding with the hotel’s facilities which you had borrowed during your stay, we found that one spoon and one knife had been given to your room - as requested, but our staffs couldn’t find out the knife in this room while you were checking out. The "suite" we boked was actually just a double room with a small bathroom. Certainly not the 35 m3 advertised. The "standard double" , booked for our children, was larger than the "suite".

Positive: Good ceiling lights. Good location Food is OK The staff director is nice and helpful Negative: Staffs need to be trained more. I had booked and paid a series of 4 nights with 1-king bed room but they placed me to smaller, 2-bed the 4th day and forced me to vacant the 1-king bed by 12noon; otherwise they could charge for late check out.

We have received your booking with is 2 single beds room (Twin bed), stay for 4 nights. On the day you checked in, we realized that you travelled alone, so we suggest you to change to a large bed room, however, this room type is only available for 3 nights, the last night (the 4th night) you will switch to a twin bed room, exactly the type you made the booking. We had unanimity for this. Besides, following hotel regulations, the check-in time is after 14.00, check-out time is before 12.00. We need at least 2 hours to make up the room to vacant ready for the next customers. We do hope you can understand this. I get a hotel for a place to sleep. The bed at Roy Dala was not at all comfortable. Problem 2. No coffee for the compliment breakfast. Problem 3 no hot water for a shower on my last day there. Reception didn't understand English when I tried to let them know about the problems. Find somewhere else

1) Receptionist asked me to pay first, which is contrary to normal rules. Normally I pay when I check out, not when I check in. 2) Receptionist insisted on keeping my girlfriend's passport even when I already made full payment. 3) On July 30 evening about 6pm, I returned to hotel after a long day. The evening shift guy receptionist asked me details about my flight details, flight number. This should be done upon checkin by afternoon staff, not by evening staff. We felt tired after a long day and wanted to rest in room but felt disturbed by the evening guy staff. 4) Inside room, curtain cannot cover windows fully, hence sunlight enters early in morning, making it impossible for a good night's sleep. 5) No wifi in toilet of room 6) Water pressure weak and not easy to adjust to correct temperature. 7) Only 1 chair inside room. Recommended to have 2.
