The family was super nice, they made us feel like as home. We went for a walk at the rice fields in the morning and then we cooked the vegetables we got for the breakfast. A very nice place to stay

Exceptional”
A nice place! You get a good value for your money, the place is quite calm, especially at night but gets a bit loud in the mornings. But if you get up early it’s awesome. Not as social as a hostel but since a lot of people stay longer it’s easy and nice to socialize. You get 2 very tasty banana pancakes every morning. The location is just out of Kuta, which makes it a calm place that still has very good access to the main road and is close to all the important areas.

Simple fan room, good pressure in the shower, good breakfast banana pancake and free coffee available. The room is very hot during the day but during the night it s not bad. Very good place for the budget travellers.

The owner is not a straight forward person”
The guy was a nice guy, but he is not good with dealing prices. When I got there I was asking to rent a scooter for half day price ( I arrived at late afternoon). He said okay he will charge me the half day price for the scooter. When we were about to pay the scooter as I was checking out. He said the I need to pay full price, I reminded that we made a deal and we agreed upon it. All of a sudden he change the price and ask me to pay the half day price. Its not the only thing he wasn't straight forward about. I rented an extra bed from him as well. He said I only need to pay IDR 150000 for my whole stay (5 nights). Like the scooter we pay it at the check out time. He asked me to pay IDR 150000 per night for the bed! I reminded him that he gave me that price for the whole stay not per night. Sadly he refuse to let this one go and I had to pay that whole price. So if he offers you a deal, just decline it and go to the town where there are better deals.

Relaxed homestay but problems with transport arrangements ”
The place itself is simple and very calm. Its a good place to relax. especially the free coffee and banana pancakes are amazing. however dont let the owner arrange tours for you! we booked a transport to Sumbawa and when they dropped us off at Mataram we found out that the bus he made us pay for at the homestay didnt exsist! In addition to that check the motorbikes. Our bike broke in the beach due to a broken battery and we had to buy a new battery. The homestay refused to refund us the total amount of the money for the battery.

The Host is really helpful and friendly. Its close to the city center - but careful at night outside of the city in the dark streets, we got rubbed. Pretty quiet and nice banana pancakes for breakfast.

Not worth visiting this area”
I think it's normal of this hostel but when we got there they said they hadn't got our booking. Eventually said we can stay at his brothers (it's next door so don't know why he doesn't just put the two together, you'd not know the difference). It was a long walk to the "main" area and not such a nice part of the beach. There wasn't much around. Staff were just trying to sell tours.

Nice place and frendly oner. I Will Stay there Again. If you must buy a ticket for the ferry from lombok to bali. so be prepared to a bad trip. poor transfer bus on bali. total crowded 2 person no Seat. And time to kuta Bali normal 1 hour. But the transfer Ware hole Bali so 4 hours to kuta.

No contratéis excursiones ni transporte”
El Homestay está bien. La habitación es amplia, el baño está limpio y el desayuno está bueno. Sin embargo, tanto en el alquiler de la moto como en el transporte el querido dueño, tan majo èl, nos la coló. Vale que desde el alojamiento siempre cuesta un poco más que desde una agencia, pero lo peor ya no sólo fue el precio. Sino que nos dijo que el speed boat salía a una hora y resultó que fue mentira. Hasta el puerto nos llevó su colega, quien se olvido de dejar a uno de los pasajeros en el aeropuerto y cuando le preguntamos si estaba cerca nos soltó que la culpa era nuestra por no haberle avisado. A ver, quién es aquí el conductor. El chico que iba al aeropuerto al final lo enviaron en taxi desde no sé dónde y, cuando salí para ayudarle con el inglés para negociar el precio, el chofer me soltó un: como no te calles te dejo a ti también aquí. Una vergüenza de servicio por el que pagamos más que otra gente del guesthouse que lo contrató en agencia y con el que nos mintieron: dijeron que el barco salía a las 10, nos hicieron levantarnos a las 7 y resulta que al final era a la 1,30 pm. Íbamos a estar solo 2 noches y acabamos alargando nuestra estancia! El sitio está muy bien de precio, está limpio, es tranquilo, a pocos minutos del pueblo. Roy es muy simpático y te ayuda en lo que necesites, tanto para alquilar scooter como para contratar excursiones o clases de surf. Recomendable!!
