A rare experience at Desert”
Execellant experience in full moon light at the Royal Camp. Service staff were very nice along with the Manager Mr.Jabbar Singh whose guest welcoming was really remarakable. Full utilisation of money at Royal Camp. I would ask my friends and relatives to visit Royal Camp at Sam Sand Dunes,Jaisalmer,Rajasthan to share my views.

Good stay with in these desert camps”
Had a lovely stay. Staff was courteious. Nicely done rooms.
Situated 32 km from the city of Jaisalmer, staying in this tranquil space was quite an experience. Very close to nature, we often cited Chinkaras, Camels, Peacocks and other wildlife in the area. There was a cultural show every evening. Although it was quite interesting for the first night, we just had our own bonfire besides the tent for the rest of the nights, which the staff would happily set up for us. I would highly recommend this place!

A nice sunset in the desert”
The camel ride was funny
Amazing experience to live in a tent, with nothing but silence around you, no pollution anywhere. The staff was polite, the food was really tasty and we got everything we wanted.

A Lousy place with least hospitality”
Nothing worth praising
There was no welcome ceremony contrary to the one shown in the pictures on the website. The photographs on the website are all illusive. What to say of a welcome drink, the ordinary drinking water was not served in the tent despite repeated requests. Even, there were no glasees in the tent. The blankets and bed sheets were very-very dirty, but were not changed despite repeated requests. There was no T.V in the tent despite the fact that the dish was installed for the lone T.V in the owner's tent. The swimming pool water was dirty and covered with garbage. The entire swimming pool area was dirty with the dead body of a rat lying nearby which was not removed despite been brought to the notice of the management. In the afternoon, a rat started jumping over the bed and our luggage thus creating much of panic & chaos. As my wife is scared of rats, it was a horrible sleepless night in the tent. The cultural programme was very ordinary. The two hours camel ride was booked with the management for sun rise to start at 6.00 A.M sharp. As instructed, We reached the gate at 5.45, kept standing till 6.45, but no camel came for us nor was my cell phone was picked by the concerned person.

Garbage Food , Horrible stay”
Nothing much
I have booked this hotel after reading review. Reached there in the afternoon of 29th Novemebr and got the decent camp. After seeing the Sam dunes we came back to the camps and started enjoying the local folk dance. Around 9pm when we were about to pick the Plates for dinner, he asked us to pay first..What!!! ME: Why do I need to Pay? THEM: It's not in your package? ME: Are you kidding me? the price what I have paid should have this in my package.. THEM: No you have to Pay 750 per person (in total 1500) for the folk dance and dinner. they insisted as it's not mentioned in my voucher. 1. Why did not they tell me these things while I was checking in? 2. 750 each? (I felt cheated after knowing their menu and price) 3. The cultural programme was quite ok but food was really bad. the worst I had in my rajastan trip. In my 12 days of stay in Rajastan this was the only worst food. 4. Swimming pool was filthy I would not recommend this Camps as they are not Royal camps but the Robbers camp.
