Perfect for Babymoon”
Stayed there 3 nights for babymoon, and it's not enough. I love this hotel and its facilities. All is there, you can relax with your spouse and enjoying the beach, swim at the beach whole day, hv breakfast lunch and dinner in one place with so many different choices, heard they have 11 restaurant. We only tried 3 of them and we love it! Love the room, bed is very comfortable -not too soft and not too hard, just right. Love the bathroom. I stayed in 10103 Royal Grand Hotel. The sunset view from our balcony is very beautiful. Staff is very friendly and helpful, they help me to arrange tour to Nong Nooch and car to go back to Bangkok. The pool is amazing, you can access 3 different pool in one place with 3 different view. 4 pools if you stay in Royal Wing Suites. Tried Rossini, Lan Throng and Panorama restaurant. For this hotel class, I can say the price is reasonable. Buffet breakfast at panorama is 715 Baht per person, if buffet is too much for you, I suggest to buy their Doughnut or sandwiches, is only 30-50 Baht each and you can enjoy your breakfast at the beach. For the beach, suggest you walk a bit to the beach beside royal cliff private beach.
The best hideaway hotel in Pattaya”
It was a pleasure stay for our quiet long weekend retreat during low season. We didn't have to go out anywhere since the hotel is equipped with wide-range of good facilities and activities. Thai food from room service and pizza at Rossini Italian Restaurant are very tasty. Staffs are polite and helpful. We will definitely consider staying at Royal Cliff Grand Hotel the next time we're going to Pattaya.
exceptional place”
as in the previous year, for four months in a row, we spent a short holiday at the royal cliff and enjoyed it a lot. thanks to everybody for their great hospitality and the attention given to repeat guests. already entering the lobby, we see familiar smiling faces at the reception and the friendly room maid remembers how i like the bed to be prepared. we also get a warm welcome for lunch at panorama and at dinner the charming lady manager at delicious rossini and yo never forget our favoured wine and mineral water. her kindness and generosity always makes our stay unforgettable. negative is that the sea water in pattaya is not clean. not much the hotel can do about it. but the resort has numerous pools, in perfect condition,so that one can have a nice swim after a relaxing dozing away on the beach. the various attractions, including many good restaurants, especially rossini, and the state of the art gym means that this place is really unique.
Excellent stay and good value”
We love staying at the royal cliff hotels. The location is a little out of the way but that might be a positive depending on what you’re after. The hotel food in the many restaurants is very reasonably priced and good quality so there’s really little reason to leave. I especially like the pool at the Grand hotel which is well designed for kids to enjoy.
fantastic value for money”
for the fourth time in so many months, we had a most enjoyable week at the grand and i thank warmly everybody at the royal cliff for their wonderful hospitability. despite being in a huge complex, one can fell at home, with among others, thr hearty welcoming smile from the lady overseeing the reception and cahier s desk, the courteous one from the gentleman manager at panorama or the big one from the room maid. for 6 days i did not use the car, no need to go to town, the restaurants on the spot are excellent, especially rossini with its friendly and generous lady manager, or the chinese one serving a delicious peking duck. we are aslready looking forward to our next visit towards the end of the year.
a wonderful place”
upon arrival, a charming young lady fixed my unclear booking in a very efficient and courtly way, making sure that our stay would be most pleasant. the room was beautiful with all the amenities and the maid gave us a wonderful welcome. key members of the staff are with the royal cliff for a long time, a sure sign of excellence. we have a splendid start of the day by taking a delicious breakfast on the balcony with a staggering view on the ocean. the hotel area is huge, with many restaurants, and especially a great one, rossini, with a most charming and generous lady maitre d hoteland her colleagues serving the mouthwatering foodof master chef massimo, in a relaxed and romantic environment. also not to be missedis the saturday buffet which is gorgeous! we are already looking forward to our next visit.
Sightseeing ”
My wife and I visited Pattaya and were looking for a nice and quite hotel and we were lucky to stay at Royal Grand Cliff Hotel, very beautiful view staff are friendly after all love it and looking forward to coming again.
The hotel is spacious and very unique. Good place for vacation.”
The price a little bit expensive But it is still worth a nice atmosphere. I very much appreciate, If have a opportunity we will return to the Royal Cliff again. Nice staff and quick to assist. The rooms are clean, spacious bathroom. separate work corner and relax area. Bright enough light There are many variety swimming pool to play a lot of facilities do not have to leave the hotel outside. The hotel's private beach, spa, fitness center, out-of-sport stadium. There is also an award-winning restaurant that offers a great selection of tastes.Thank you for wonderful holiday <3
Not Disappointed on Return Visit”
This was a return visit to Royal Cliff--even the very same room. I was not disappointed at all and found even more that I liked about the hotel and its facilities. This time I used the Fitness facilities at the Fitz Health Club and the equipment was of high quality, even with cable TV available to the treadmills to make the process more productive catching up on news at the same time. I also experimented with the in-room menu, notably fish and salads. Each choice was prepared to perfection which complemented perfectly the view of setting sun and a cold beer!
Oldie but Goodie”
This was a spontaneous trip, but Royal Cliff Grand made it a successful one. Royal Cliff Grand is a bit old, but it's hard to beat its value. The sunset view is spectacular from the pool. The location is a bit far from the busy Walking Street, but maybe that's a good thing. Big comfy room, but AC takes a while to get going. Overall, very satisfied.
Exceptional”
Pool is not as big as royal beach hotel but it is definitely more quiet and more privacy compared to the royal beach hotel, cliff's pool good for people who seeks for quiet, relaxing poolside experience. The pool however only has one option of 1.6m.depth so if you plan a visit with young children/can't swim, it will be better to stay at royal beach hotel (another wing of the same hotel group). The pool there has more options of different depth but can be very crowded. Receives very good service from hotel staff. All staff I met have great command in English so no communicating issue at all. Location wise it's not right at the center of buzzling street so if you are very much a person who wants to save on taxi fare in and out the busy city streets then it is not for you. If you are after breathtaking view of the sea anytime of the day, quality family/couple time and don't mind a few dollars taxi fare YES I definitely recommend it.
excellent value for money”
we really enjoyed our stay in beautifully appointed rooms with a stunning view of the ocean. mostly great service despite being in such a huge complex. the food is good and at the italian restaurant excellent. overall thanks to its sprawling ground offering so many areas to relax or play, the royal cliff is indeed exceptional
outstanding value for money”
wew again had a very enjoyable and memorable week at the royal cliff. our repeat visits are proof of how much we like this resort with its huge area, good food, especially at the italian restaurant and a feeling like being home. thanks amillion to the management and the entire team for their wonderful hospitality and kindness.w
Amazing view of pattaya cliff and beach”
Excellent service with professional staff , bell service and different kind of food at buffet restaurant . Royal suite room is super cool of pattaya beach and cliff view.
Good time for our 5th Ani”
Was a bit disappointed fromtbe begining because we called to book The Royal Grill Room and Wine Cellar for our dinner, but when we arrived it was under renovation and no one informed us before. However, the staffs are very keen to help. F&B ass. Manager was leading us to the Breezeo, even it's almost empty but the view and all the surroundings are stuning. And ofcourse the food and staffs are great. We also stay overnight at the Grand wing. Love the room and it's comfy bed😚😚😚 We had a wonderful night. Just a little suggestion; better up date info among the staffs ( what is renovating, where is what😁😁,where are the restaurants) for example. Anyway, our overall experience were good. GLAD TO COME BACK AFTER ALMOST 20 YEARS. Keep up good job guys.
awesome stay ”
We had funtastic time at the royal cliff grand hotel. We will definitely stay there again
fantastic”
All staff are very friendly. I love that we can walk through and use some facilities of other Royal cliffs near by because we r the hotel's customers. It seems like we booked one, but we got 4 hotels. This is over our expectation :)
An oasis away from the centre of Pattaya”
For the discerning traveller, the centre of Pattaya is best avoided unless you are happy to mix in close proximity with hoards of relatively unsophisticated Chinese tour groups or the recent influx of Russians. I have lived in Thailand about 22 years and this location is by far the best within easy reach of Bangkok. The rooms are well appointed including a bath as well as the usual shower and the Internet works well enough to stream programmes from favourite sources without relying on the selection provided by the hotel itself. Technically, the quality of the hotel channels is as good as I have seen and the selection is also not too bad though I prefer to access my own programmes using the Internet. A small gripe is the rather extortionate cost of breakfast in the hotel though I usually rent a car for trips outside Bangkok and prefer to find my own breakfast in nearby cafes. The views from the balconies towards Ko Lan and Pattaya City, including wonderful sunsets, are as good as they get in Thailand.
Fantastic ”
We enjoyed our stay at Royal cliff grand hotel..Excellent facilities
Worst Hotel for Honeymoon”
Our stay were really bad of all the hotel we had stay. There were Indian wedding ceremony that strat from Jan 15- 18 2016 also: Avenger gathering, Miss Czec replubic and other meeting. We booked the hotel for 4 night starting on Jan 14 and checking out Jan 18. The noise from the Indian wedding were awful, we were on our honeymoon we expect a peaceful and quiet hotel (which Royal Cliff used to be) They start the ceremony in the morning about 10pm and all the way through the afternoon then evening. We have to leave the hotel for a peaceful place. Bass, music, shouting, partying noise were at the pool which our room is facing directly to the location. The hotel inform all the room with letter addressing about the ceremony but, the hotel didn't fully being honest what time and what day they going to end, resulting in after party form 10.00pm to 3.30am. We always stay at Royal cliff since we were a kid. The hotel offer to offer to temporary change room for night being after we complain which I think is stupid to change room at 3.30am in the morning. All the best they can do is giving next free upgrade and free breakfast for next visit. All the worst 4 night we stayed this is all they can offer us. I recommended to call the hotel before to booked.
