Good location、cozy bed and nice breakfast ”
Having a business trip with colleagues for 2 night here. stays in Tainan with a book of three rooms here. The hotel looks like re-decorated and all facilities are mostly new. Room is not very small and it is impressive 4-person room occupies with two bathrooms. Beds are cozy and not small, either. The accomdation cost is not costly. There is convenient store and department store nearby. Hotel's own parking lot spaces are not many andd first comes first serves. They also have cooperated big parking lot two streets away.

Very affordable hotel with great, comfortable service! Location is great, next to Tainan cultural centre and a shopping mall but it not near the Tainan city centre and most of the attractions. The room is big, clean and comfortable. Enjoy my stay a lot!

Nice Hotel”
Overall impression is quite good. Very clean and modern. The only issue was the door that is not very soundproof and breakfast, which was in "very Taiwanese" style. However, there are a lot of places for a nice breakfast in Tainan. If I need to find a hotel in Tainan, I would definitely choose this one again.

Second time stay”
My second time stay in this hotel. A little bit far from the central Tainan. Taxi fair is around 3-4 us dollar, but the question is if you can get it whenever you what. The front desk people is kind and helpful. All others are spotless. If the showing price is under $65/nite , please don't hesitate to book it

Great place for self drive visitors”
As we were self driving, we did not want to park in narrow and congested central Tainan, so we chose this hotel. The room was very big, clean and big beds for each of us. There was not many food choices in the vicinity, but modern shopping mall is just next door and we could get inexpensive simple food in the food hall.

Great rooms and value for money in decent location”
Royal Guest Hotel is in decent location, but since Tainan is rather sprawling it isn't that walkable to most locations so you can do better in terms of location. But rooms are spotless and well equipped and it is great value for money, especially for larger groups (they offer quad rooms with 4 separate twin beds and two bathrooms). Staff is friendly, though not overly helpful in organizing transport. Great breakfast.

No regrets”
Location of the hotel is a 5-minute walk from the high speed rail shuttle bus drop-off. Otherwise, you probably need a taxi to go anywhere else. The hotel and room is very new with its facilities (shower, taps, TV, lights) in very good condition, and is very clean. There is also a water-refilling machine on the floor and at the lobby. Breakfast was provided and was very good. You should try it even though Taiwan has lots of good street food. Our rooms were located towards the end of the wing hence the WIFI signal was close to zero. This is the only downside of the hotel. Try to get a room closer to where the router is.

I am generally satisfied with what I paid for. In fact it was better than a hotel that I paid 30% more for last time. If I have to criticise, I will say the doors are a bit thin. In the evening and morning when other guests walk by, one might be disturbed by them.

5-minute walking distance to HSR's free shuttle service. Plenty of places to eat all around, including an open market place. Clean rooms, nice firm bed. Definitely worth checking out.

So far our stay is good, staff is nice and helpful to book a taxi for us. Room is quite spacious and clean. Breakfast is quite good. Location is ok, quite close to a shopping mall, 7-11 and restaurants.

It is located in the East District. Although it is quite far away from most tourist attractions, it is located next to a department store and there are delicious restaurants around, so very convenient in terms of shopping and dinning. The neighbourhood is also very quite, unlike the West Central District.

It would be beneficial to let people know that there is a flat fee on taxi fares from the Kaohsiung airport ($1,200.00 NTD) so travellers don't get tipped off as I did.
