Our go to hotel in Bangkok ”
This was at least the fourth time we've stayed here and plan on staying there in the future. Enough said.
Hotel with big rooms in a good location - friendly staff”
Hotel with big rooms in a good location - friendly staff. Although this street is known for the nightlife the Hotel was quiet. Good value for money. Will come back any time.
Good location - attentive staff”
Big room with old furniture. But the big bed was good. Only issue was a bad smelling room although i asked for non-smoking room. Simply ask for alternative room. Staff is helpful and very friendly.
A good place to stay.”
I have stayed here a number of times and enjoy the location and the hotel itself.
Always a Great Place to Stay”
Always has been a great place to stay from start to finish. The welcome is pleasant with friendly staff at check in. The room is large clean and comfortable. The area is quiet and conveniently close to the night life of Nana, restaurants and public transport. The amenities are good, WIFI and the restaurants breakfast. The hotel staff and hotel service providers ie taxi are helpful and very friendly. Look forward to next stay there.
This hotel is in a wild part of town but at the end of the road. It is relatively quiet. The breakfast is a good deal! Rooms are large and has an in room safety box. Just remember to ask the staff to set it up for you as the previous guest may have left it closed...
basic - location wise slightly inner from the vicinity of Nana BTS station. old dated rooms, but were clean and sufficient. They use recycled 5 star hotel towels - hence the towels were big and nice
Extremely dissapointed. I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions, but over 2 years ago. The hotel has had gone rapidly downhill over the last few years. The rooms are very ‘worn’ and there has been little or no investment in upgrading or refurbishing them. The WiFi is very poor. The bell boy was extremely unhelpful and didn’t want to get me a meter taxi. Shame as the hotel use to be good. Its certainly not worth the money and I would not stay again.
COMPLETELY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOTEL IN BANGKOK EVER!!!!”
COMPLETELY WORST EXPERIENCE WITH THIS HOTEL IN BANGKOK EVER!!!!stayed 3 nights with my friend in two single beds room.the room was very old and everything is dirty.floor,beds,tables.safe doesnt work, ask staff for fix it but never get it.so unable to use safe.staff very unfriendly never see smile on theirs faces.the worst experience is with items in minibars.on check in staff told us minibar is free.but on check out the staff charge us for 1500 baht just for items from minibar.but you can't see the prizes anywhere in the room so this is very unfair for visitors.staff starts shout it on us and used swearing words to us.another bad things is with coupons for braekfast.i paid for braekfast but must asked 3 times for coupons so i felt like staff trying scam on us.pls be aware of visit this hotel.I DEFENITALY NEVER STAY HERE ANYMORE.DONT VISIT THIS.I RECOMENDED FIND SOME OTHER PLACES TO STAY.MARTIN
No again ”
The good on the hotel is the central location and the breakfast. The worst is the curtain which doesn’t stop the light from coming in even in the night you can see everything in the room. The bath is moody and the furniture look old. The hotel is poorly soundproofed I won’t come again
Good position ”
Pretty good value for money. 150 baht buffet breakfast ok but not fantastic. Cleanliness of room had scope for improvement and pool could do with a little more care still all in all not bad value for money.
Great location, very comfortable rooms”
This is one of the best values I've found in six years of traveling to Bangkok. The location is perfect for what I was looking for, within walking distance of the Nana BTS station and Terminal 21, but just out of reach of the noisy farang bars and catcalling girls who lounge in front of massage parlors all day long. I booked the deluxe king room and was impressed that it had the same size, cleanliness, and amenities of similar hotels in Sukhmvit that go for at least twice the price. Didn't use the pool, although it looked small but good, and the only issue I had was with the slightly spotty internet connection during certain times of the day. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
Basic but Clean and tidy.”
We stayed here overnight and I have to say that it was a very pleasant stay. The room was large with amenities such as tea and coffee and multi channel tv. The hotel was located in Soi 4 which had bars, eateries and late night shopping. The staff were pleasant and quite helpful,(Especially as my daughter forgot to bring the key ot the lock on her suitcase, which maintenance opened). Breakfast was a buffet and was freshly prepared and varied. Would recommend.
Worst hotel in Bangkok”
Looks good friend outside. Inside completely run down. First room they gave us was dirty and full of mould in the bathroom. The second room rundown and dirty. On the pictures it looks o.k., but that is diseaving. Even the breakfast is not eatable. We both got sick and had to run to the toilet all the time
Nice hotel, good location, great breakfast.”
Good value for the location, friendly and accommodating staff, good location and quite room, the best part is the breakfast, enjoyed a lot. The only downside is the smell of the hotel since it's an old building I think. Will definitely stay here again for next vacation in Bangkok.
Spacious, clean room. Nice breakfast.”
A very good stay at the Royal Ivory. Excellent price/quality ratio. I got a big room (I think a bit bigger than I chose) which was fully equipped (including kitchen facilities). Staff was nice and helpful, breakfast tasty with a comfortable area on the ground floor. The location is a small disadvantage (quite a walking distance from the main street) but not a big problem. Generally I recommend this hotel, due to its reasonable price!
The location is near like a pub/bar place with hostess, my brother definitely don't want back to this hotel because of the hostess things, but it's near the BTS about 10 minutes walk. The room is in good condition, the air conditioner and the hot water works, but I did found that the bed sheet got something like liquid stain. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Very good ”
Nice staff and clean rooms. Very good place. The only thing they should improve is the internet. But in general very good place to stay solo or with family.
Clean and nice and in good location. But the WiFi was VERY slow. So the WiFi definitely should be improved.
