Well run resort on the beach”
We had an excellent stay. On arrival we were upgraded to a small villa and all staff were very friendly and helpful. There are 2 lovely pools and a great beach frontage. A good breakfast buffet was included. The location is good- quite close to Saladan and motorbike hire is easy nearby. All in all a very pleasant place to stay and highly recommended.

Luxurious resort”
Beautiful room with all the little nicesities, gowns, slippers, toiletries, drinks. Big pools front and back near the beach. Restaurant, though only serving breakfast at the moment (included). Gym and spa but I didn't use and not sure if open right now. Always seems to be someone manning front desk.

Lovely hotel”
We had a wonderful 4 nights here. Staff were amazing. Breakfast very good and plentiful. Massage very good on site. Hotel on beach two big pools. Many places to eat nearby. Could do with some updating but did not detter from overall ambience. Would go back without hesitation.

Great location on the beach”
We stayed at the Royal Lanta Resort for a few days while working in Koh Lanta, this hotel has a great location directly on the beach with many restaurants close by. The rooms were comfortable and clean ant the staff were very happy to oblige.

Great Family Resort”
The resort staff was excellent. Located in a beautiful area. Both pools are accessible but the ocean is right in front of you. Restaurant is only open in the mornings but that's not a problem as there are many wonderful places to eat nearby. I recommend walking up the road from the hotel (50 meters) to a restaurant called "Cicada". Their homemade desserts are delicious along with their whole menu. The prices are great too. Ask for P'Ex. They will treat you well.

Perfect location and decent enough room and facilities with 2 lovely pools. Spa was expensive but had other cheaper options next to it. Lovely beach. Bar staff were lovely but the front desk didn't seem too interested. Would probably go back though.

The resort is between the beach and the main road, so location is ideal. We had a family room, which is spacious and well equipped. Only minus is the weak lightening -

Beautiful garden and villas”
Amazing grounds well kept, lits of huge trees and birds flying around. Beach front. The deluxe villa was in amazing condition, loved the 6 mt ceiling and the excellent air circulation. The breakfast was the same everyday and could be better, but I guess with few people staying at this time this is not possible to change

COVID is effecting Koh lanta”
I’m sad to say all hotels here in Koh lanta doing the minimum to keep there doors open. Here at the Royal lanta it’s the same this was a great place but COVID has an effect. Minimum staff equals less everything. I’m happy with the room and every request I asked for they did without question. But the breakfast is not even ok unless you don’t eat breakfast. Drinks at the bar are low shelf although at a fair price. Things are closed everywhere and at this hotel as well . The spa is closed but they I guess rented out the message tents to locals , take it from someone who gets messages regularly they suck. But there are great ones close by I found. I love Koh Lanta it’s my favorite Thai place to go and I’ve been here pre COVID. So I’ll say this come anyway you’ll still enjoy this place , just let your ego go and help this economy build back up. Come stick your toes in the sand and enjoy!!
