Good location, price, clean, good breakfast and friendly staffWalking distance to the Piccadilly Line, near to a couple of nice restaurants (Indian, Thai) and a Sainsbury’s local, clean room, bathroom quite compact but also clean, nice breakfast room with friendly staff and quick service. Only downside was road was busy all night with buses and ambulances (as 2 hospitals nearby) but it’s London so if you want to be near things and to travel around then noise is expected, it’s just we aren’t used to it. Booking in was located 2 doors down the road as it’s a hotel chain that manages 8/9 buildings in the same road, but this was easy to find and fortunately the breakfast room was located in building we were staying in. Overall a clean and friendly, well Located accommodation that served its purpose

Awful experienceFrom the first moment we entered our room, we knew it wouldn’t be a good experience. The room reeked of paint and no matter how much we tried to air it out during our stay, the smell was constant until the end. The sink and shower also did not drain at all (and the sink didn’t have a drain cover) so we had to ask for a plumber. Thankfully that was fixed by that night..so we could shower. The “reception” is a messy room with a rotating shift of people, many who don’t make eye contact with you and are terse to the point of rude. The heating was supposedly turned on after five pm, but it only worked the first night, which was unfortunate since London’s cold and we were right by the windows. Which also meant that we could hear the loud street noises. It was small, but that wasn’t the problem. All we ask for is courtesy, heat, a working shower, and none of that was easily given. Pros: Good hot breakfast with eggs and toast. Location was convenient, within ten minutes from the tube.

Only a 10 minute walk from Olympia. We had a quad room 1x double, 2x single beds. The room was clean. Only 1 pillow on each bed. Freeview TV in room with tea & coffee. Breakfast - fried or scrambled eggs with toast. Also available Continental style breakfast with tea, coffee and orange juice available. Please note - The Royal London Hotel is a group of smaller hotels under 1 banner. So the 1st hotel we went to confirm our booking. We was told our room was in another building a short walk down the same road. Overall review Short walk to Olympia Clean nice room Nice breakfast I would 100% use again if I was either going to Olympia or sightseeing around London.

Great location, near to Shepherd's Bush or Hammersmith underground. Westfield shopping centre is also walking distance or 3 bustops away. English breakfast is good. A lot of halal food at Westfield and along Uxbridge Rd. The only downside is very difficult to get wifi signal maybe due to staying at basement area. 6 nights and no wifi connections at all!

    Nothing "Royal" about the hotel”

I could hardly move inside the room since it was so tiny that beside the bed it was either my bag or me. In the toilet it was the same. Also there was noise from the cars in the streets, since the windows do not properly isolate. I had a good stay dont get me wrong, but for the accomodation quality i got i believe the price is simply excesive. The best: the area.

Hotel was great for the price, just enough.”

Great neighborhood, breakfast exceeded expectation, great price for the market

The stay was great. The room was great for the price. It wasn't spotless, but certainly clean enough. The location is fantastic. 5-7 minutes walking to the Hammersmith underground stop, with a wide assortment of eating and drinking options along the way. The breakfast far exceeded expectations. It was basic (eggs, beans, toast, plus a spread of cereals, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee) but beat the heck out of a usual free breakfast. Overall, this hotel was everything we needed it to be. I was expecting less for the price, and was pleasantly surprised.

Small room, poor room facilities, location Ok”

The address listed in Agoda is only the main office of the hotel. We were assigned to the actual hotel where which needed about 5 mins walk. The room was on the ground floor near the entrance, stairs and reception. It was very noisy as guests were passing by, walking on the stairs and opening and closing the entrance door, even at late night. We also heard creaking sounds from the roof. So we asked to change to another room the next day, and the staff entertained our request. The room of the next nights, which was at the end of the corridor, was much quieter. The room was small. Not much space to move around if the suitcase is open on the floor. The TV had very poor signal. The bathroom was very small (The toilet was very close to the sink) and was quite smelly even when the ventilator was turned on. The hand-shower was dirty. The room window was left open after cleaning service in the afternoon, so guests must be aware of personal properties when they go out the whole day. The electric fan didn’t function. A lamp was blinking. (I reported this to the reception but finally I found that they didn’t attempt to come and check.) The room we stayed the next day was almost of the same conditions except it was quieter but even smaller. The TV and heater didn’t work. There was no table nor chair. The cups were not cleaned and left with coffee stains. The door card malfunctioned and we could not enter our room when we were back in the evening. It happened 2 times. We needed to ask the staff to reset the card. The only things I appreciate are the breakfast and facilities nearby. The breakfast food quality and services were good. There is a Tesco superstore nearby. Nearest shopping mall and metro station are of 10-15 mins walk

    Good for a nights rest!”

If you are keen on keeping the cost down and don't fancy anything extraordinary, this is the place. Room was clean and made up everyday. Breakfast was OK, would have been nice to have some more options though like brown bread etc., Staff at the breakfast room was very polite. Reception staff was good, had a heating problem and got attended. One word of advice, make sure where your room will be. They have a group of hotels on the same road, so you may end up in any one of them.

Make sure you get what you pay for..”

Yes, it looks nice on the webpage. But I got put into a sister-hotel, well I say hotel, it was more like a room that your grandmum would put find spare at the loft... awful, and when I complained about it, they were not accepting anything... still wanted full price! Very disappointed I must say, not the value for the money for what I got. So make sure you get what you pay for, is my advise... make sure they take you to the room, and don't just leave you at the front door of a building with no phones or reception. Sorry for the review, but it had to be like this, when I got no satisfying reply to the issue..

Rude Staff. Shuffle guest between their hotels”

    Location

It was pathetic. Hotek confirmation was for London Royal In but i was told upon reception that room is avaiable in their sis. When reached their they shifted me to another and that was all happening at 9 pm in the night. The reception staff (2 boys) were very rude. On contestating thay why they are not giving me a room at the booked hotel to which they threathened if i would want a room or not. Having no options at that.point of time i had to succumb to taking whatever room they were giving. The room is not even centrallh heated, no windows in the room, pathetic staff.and service. Not recommended for single lady travellers and solo travellers or for even that matter couples. Definitely not a good hotel to stay in. Over priced, pics shown doesnot matcg the actual.room. Overall, i had a very bad experience at the hotel.

    Average”

Price (it is not that cheap, but the accommodation in London is really expensive), neighbourhood area

The hotel is located in the middle of 3 tube stations (Stepherd's Bush, Goldhawk Road & Hammersmith) while each has 10 to 15-minute walking distance. It is far away from the city centre and takes more than half hour to go to the major train stations and the main attractions such as the Buckingham Palace, Westminister, London Tower, etc. However, the neighbourhod almost has everything you need, and the cafes and restaurants nearby are with reasonable price. The room (including the bathroom) is very small and I could barely manage to walk after putting my luggage in it. The towel was sometimes dirty. The TV did not work and I needed to wait till the 4th day of my stay when the staff finally found someone to fix it. Nevertheless, I still appreciated the friendly attitude of the staff.
