Worth the Visit.
Good View, nice staffs, and good breakfast.
Location is far from the touristic site: the Sigrya Rock. The hotel is actually closer than the nearby city than Sigria. But our complaint turns into WOW when we finally arrived at the hotel after hour long drive. The design of the hotel itself is good and the scenary is awsome. Be spare half of the day linger around the pool side to admire the lake view.

Good hotel, but lacked basic things.
Friendly staff, good buffet, nice view of lake.
My room in the hotel on the top floor had an excellent view of the lake, and the room itself was clean and comfortable. The buffet was also excellent and the staff were friendly. However for the cost basic things like internet and English language channels were lacking, and also despite being in an area near many tourist attractions they were not set up for arranging tours.

Good location for sightseeing
Location, quiet surroundings, air conditioned
We chose this hotel as the price is high in this area and that gave me warranty. But not very good as expected, especially bathroom. But I think this hotel offer good breakfast, which contains international as well as local.

Large hotel for mass tourism
Good location for Pollonaruwa, wildlife etc.
Busloads full of tourists are brought in every day. An outdated and overpriced hotel which desperately needs an upgrade. The "dinning hall" is hot without airco and the food is very middle of the road.

standard hotel set up with small room
big size swimming pool
book this hotel because of the sun set lake view. however, the hotel seen like cater for group tour customers as buses of buses of tourist being send here for buffer lunch & dinner. room is simple & small ,not value for money charge especially on deluxe room. the buffer also very basis , nothing impressive to sound. lake view actually not really that impressive as the trees front the hotel covers quite a portion of the lake. one things great is the big swimming pool allow you to relax after a long day drive.but again, to come all the way to the lake side for this hotel not worst the journey.

LOvely hotel
The view from the reception is stunning - nice views fromn the rooms too. The service was very good.
The Hotel bedrroms badly needs refurbishment - the en suit facilities are awful.
This is not a hotel for overnight stay, unless it is marketed as 1 to 2 star. By all means, stop here for a cup of tea en route but do not stay overnight, unless you were a backpacker.

great view in nature preserve
amazing views and completely natural
older rooms and furniture
fine hotel with gorgeous views, particularly from the swimming pool, and in a completely natural nature preserve away from people and urban life

nice hotel but overpriced
nice lake view, rooms with balcony
isolated location
expensive internet hotel was quite empty on the first night, and accordingly the breakfast selection was quite limited (toast bread is nice, other breads were not edible). The second night, a tour group was there and they pulled out a very extensive hot and cold breakfast buffet with nice bread as well.

Ok or 1-2 nights close to Polonnawura area
Location facing the lake
Decortion and furtniture
Location is good for both setting (west, nice sunset) and close to Polonnawura/Sigiriya area. Beer is overpriced. Food ok excluding what they call thai salad. Pool is ok-ish but the water looked a bit dirty after 30+ people visited it in the evening (be first).
