Miss the chance in Naypyitaw”
Haha.....i am so upsad because i miss the chance to Naypyitaw. I have look for direct flight from M'sia, but i found that the only flight i can use is Bagan Airline from Yangon. So once i reach Yangon i go for ticket to Naypyitaw. But they tell me that i need to go thru some procedure before i go Naypyitaw. And i need make appointment to make all the thing. I flight to Myanmar purposely go to Naypyitaw but i failed to do it. So i didnt check in for this hotel. But i can feel that this is a wonderful hotel if i reach there.

Typical Naypyitaw Hotel - Good service/restaurant”
This was our 2nd stay in a Naypyitaw hotel, had stayed at the Amara previously. Both are situated in the "Hotel Zone". It looks like around 6 or 7 hotels are open for business with a further 4 under construction. The RNH is just accross the road from a modern shopping centre (Ocean City), with supermarket, pharmacy etc. and at least 2 good restaurants; Thai on ground floor and a posh Chineese on the top floor. The department store sells Burmese fabrics at normal prices. The staff are very freindly and efficient and the rooms are not too bad, but no safe as advertised. There is Presidential suite that looks like an 8 bedroom house. This is probably where Bill Clinton will stay when he comes for Suu Kyi's inaugeration in 2015

Spacious room, nice staff, but some small issues”
Naypyitaw is a very strange place with almost nothing to do, so make sure you stay at a hotel you like. There are plenty of hotels in the "hotel zone" (which all look almost vacant except when their is a government convention) and the Royal is one of the nicer ones. This place is very spread out, with a lake in the center. I was upgraded to a very spacious and well-appointed suite. However, even though the room was great, it was not that comfortable. There was a large soaking tub and separate shower, but only lukewarm running water. The air-con was very noisy and stopped working at times. Like a lot of places in developing nations, they spent a lot on building it, but are not paying attention to details and upkeep. The food was very good, but the menu is not well translated (and no western food), so you are not really sure what you are getting. This is important, because there is really nowhere else to go to eat. The staff is friendly, but very, very little English is spoken, so it can be a bit frustrating.

Another Burmese experience”
My stay was without any inconvenience, evrything was average ok and I have no special complaints. But I also think that I will not come back because one time in Nay Pyi Taw is more then enough.

central, convinient”
Nay Pyi Taw is not the place to go out, so I stayed in the hotel to get some work done, I got a late cheek out for free that was much appreciated considering the departure time of the only plane to Bangkok.

Nice hotel in central location on hotel street.”
Located in the main hotel road in Naypyitaw the hotel is elegant without being overpowering and service and breakfast was fine. Main minus was very poor internet service.

Friendly and helpful staff”
the location of the hotel was good with walking distace to one of the 2 big shoppibg malls. the room was quite spacious, clean and all the facilities and amenities. the wifi access was not always stable. i stayed there 2 nights. on the first morning the breakfast was very poor with only few items on the table, but the next morning was much better as there were other guests. if there are very few people staying there, you may not expect a variety of foods.

typical ny pyi taw, empty and deserted”
just like everything else in ny pi taw, pretty empty....breakfast was ok. dinner, not so much. no one there. we were led to the very back far away from the nicer cool looking rooms. what we were given were 4 rooms, on 2 floors, in the back back back of the property, a 5 minute drive from reception. a not very nice suprise after the pix on agoda. but the room was ok, nothing special. internet did not work.

Clean, spacious and good service”
Very nice clean hotel. Food at the restaurant was good. A nice swimming pool and small gym available. I would recommend not getting a massage as it was over priced and not very good. Everything else worked out well. I would return here again.

Friendly and Helpful Staff”
This hotel is set on a large pice of property with beautiful wooden sculptures all around. Although the pools can be better maintained and the gym better equipted. Overall, the hotel standard is indicative of its price. Stayed for two nights and it was plesent and peaceful.

Nice setting in a park”
We had a comfortable four nights stay in the nice hotel setting. The staff are kind and help a lot. Astonishigly the prices for the rooms are much better through an internet booking portal and tend to be very high on a walk in basis. The Superior rooms are very spacious and nice, but the carpet is rather well used. Overall the room rates are more on the high side.

Nice hotel to stay ”
The hotel is well located. Clean and friendly staff. Good and fast wifi service. Public transport is a big problem. Some international phone service is not available in the hotel and its surrounding area.

Good hotel”
This hotel have good location opposite shopping mall (Capital) and on the first day you can use business center for free as a compliment but you have to pay for everything's for the next day. For the breakfast I really don't like there are not variety of food.

Not bad for Naypyidaw”
Most hotels in Naypyidaw are 3 star hotels claiming to be 5 star hotels, built in a rush and with poor quality and finish. That said, Royal Naypyidaw Hotel is my favourite after having stayed in a number of the other hotels. It has a pool, a gym and the rooms in the back face a small lake. Make sure you book the Deluxe rooms, the Superior rooms are in a separate building on the other side of the lake, and access to the lobby and dining room is via a very long walk or a buggy which isn't always available. Rooms are also not that nice.

comfortable stay in npt”
this hotel is fairly priced for the comfort and quality it offers. the bungalows next to the main building are clearly preferable to the rooms in the separate building behind the lake. staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious and well equipped. the breakfast buffet was nice. not a bad place for a good nights sleep on your way through myanmar.

It was a pleasant stay.”
I was there for a business trip, and did not care much about extra amenities. I believe the hotel have much more to offer than what I require during my one night stay.
