The staff is cordial and professional, they facilitated early check-in and helped with a few other matters. The hotel is walkable from the Acropolis, the Museum, other major archaeological attractions, scenic neighbourhoods, as well as a number of places to eat. The restaurant has a clear view of the acropolis as advertised. The breakfast buffet is sumptuous. I got a sense that the hotel has a good reputation in the city. The room we stayed in was quite small, and it did not have a kettle or ironing board. The hotel doesn’t have cctv surveillance. We loved the place for its old world charm and the best possible location.

“Beautiful hotel with every comfort ”

We have stayed here many times and it is always a delight to experience. Lovely comfortable rooms, great breakfast, and breathtaking views of the temple of Zeus and the Acropolis

    “Some good, some mediocre. ”

Starting at the negative, the reception and bar staff are unfriendly bordering on rude. The rooms are dated and the elevators in the hotel are inadequate. Getting better, the pool is nice and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Positives - the breakfast and roof view are amazing. The price is reasonable and the location is excellent. If you can put up with the rude service, it's a decent place to stay

    “Great location, but very outdated”

Our group of 6 stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is in an area that is walk-able to restaurants and shopping. The public areas of the hotel ( pool and restaurant) were very nice but we had problems with 2 out of 3 of the rooms. Firstly when I got to my room which was large with a great view( we booked the panoramic view rooms) there was no shower. When I requested a room with a shower they put us in a much smaller room without the great view and could not give me a better room as they were full.( Beware if you want a shower you should request one when booking). In our room the faucet in the bathroom leaked so the vanity was always flooded and one of the other rooms the shower leaked so the bathroom floor was always wet. The rooms really need to be updated !! so if you are looking for luxury, this is not the place. The best part of this hotel was the staff, who were very helpful and congenial.

“Good location, old facilities, not really affordable range”

Overall the hotel is clean, but the condition is very old. The lift is so small and it moves so freaking slow. Room condition is clean, but, OLD. Breakfast is good. great view too.
