Located in the heart of the popular resort town of Pattaya, you are close to activities both on land and in sea. Walk to the beach and try some of the water sports on offer, or take in a game of golf. If you are feeling adventurous, bungee jumping will certainly give you what you are looking for. After a day spent under the sun, you are sure to enjoy a cooling dip in the dolphin-shaped pool. All rooms at this value-for-money hotel come with both a bathtub and shower in addition to a mini bar and balcony. A prime location is important when choosing a hotel, and with Royal Palace Hotel in Pattaya, you get exactly that.

great location and excellent room on the 8th floor”
quieter time of the year in pattaya and value for money..this is the first time of my many stays at the royal palace that i have paid agoda the small extra charge to stay in a deluxe room and it was well worth it as the room size is about 10 sq. metres bigger than the standard room and has large fridge, sink and a microwave that was so handy for warming meals etc .i found that this time of year is a good time to visit pattaya as it is so much quieter and less busy than during the peak season.. of late the russians have found pattaya and at times i have felt like i was visiting russia and its people and not thailand
Great location and staff”
The hotel is located in the centre of pattaya but just off 2nd road in fairly quite location but near all the action and shout walk to beach. Staff are excellent very welcoming and always helpful. Had problem with shower which was fixed very quickly. Rooms are large and comfortable with balcony although could do with refurbishment. Minimal charge for safety deposit box located in reception. Overall very good hotel which is value for money B & B was only £30 per night. Book over internet and join member scheme for cheaper rate. I have stayed at Royal Palace 3 times and will return next year.
Perfect location”
It’s very close to waking street, central shopping mall & all the restaurants. Has a nice swimming pool which we couldn’t use as it closes at 7 pm. They should keep it open little longer than 7 pm. Seaview rooms have best view than pool view rooms. Furniture are quite dated. They must need to renovate to stay in the business which they are doing atm. Cleanliness was my biggest concern. Toilet wasn’t very clean. Mirror was looking very dirty. Overall I had a great experience staying at Royal palace.
Good Location ”
Hotel is located in the heart of Pattaya City , short walking to Night's life and nearing the beach , ABF is OK if compared with the price , room condition is acceptance even the property is established more than 20 years but well maintenance in all kinds facilitated either guest's room , public area and swimming pool. Staff are helpful and well literacy in English. I would recommend this Hotel if you having an economized budget and well deserved in all are comfy stay.
Great hotel in the center of Pattaya”
great hotel in the middle of outgoing pattaya, but build a little backwards so you could not hear any noise at night. also very near to the beach. nice big rooms with airconditioning, fridge, tv etc. low prices on the menu for good food. friendly staff and a great swimmingpool. the breakfast was made in buffet style with western and thai dishes. i will surely recommend this hotel to my friends. great value for money.
Everyhtng was great”
We really enjoyed our stay at the Royal Palace. The position is really excellent - right in the middle ofeverything but set back so that there was no trouble with streetnoise. The pool was really lovely and the poolstaff were very pleasant. Breakfast was excellent. For a budget priced hotel we couldn't fault it and would stay there again.
Large hotel, good parking”
The Royal Palace is a great place to relax close to all the amenities of Pattaya. I have stayed here with my wife on several occasions previously and keep coming back because the hotel meets high standards of friendliness and cleanliness. We drive our car into the extensive parking area and leave it for the duration of the stay. On this last stay we encountered and over-officious (senior) staff member behind the front desk who was loath to rectify a mix up between "double" and "twin" room requirements.
Great value and location.”
I was lucky enough to stay at Royal Palace over the xmas break and was impressed with the staff, location and cleanlines of this hotel. It is just off 2nd Rd opposite the Royal Garden shopping mall and walking distance to the beach and Walking St. Buffet breakfast with a huge selection and good quality. Magnificent pool area. Housekeeping staff were polite, fast and efficient.
Very good central location”
overall our experience of the royal palace was positive, mostly due to where its located rather than anything particularly about the hotel. the swimming pool and facilities were fine, breakfast was ok and the rooms were cleaned well each day. we stayed there over new year so were required to pay a lot extra for the 'gala dinner'. it wasn't a great event and certainly not worth the money, and most guests like us appeared to head off to the town having eaten rather than staying for the not particularly entertaining entertainment. on balance the 3 stars of the hotel are merited and the price for what you get is good.
GREAT RELIFE”
After satying for few hours at welcome hotel right next door literally. it was a Big difference like night and day great bed big ice tv great staff I did not eat there , there is a big mall across the street with a Sizzler steakhouse American style with great salad bar Near by good places to get massage. professional painful but worth the pain.. I will stay there when ever I go back to Pattaya
My stay in Pattaya”
This is my favourite hotel in pattaya, stayed many times. Very clean rooms are big and one feels very safe at this hotel due to their security arrangements. Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel and I will never stay anywhere else.
Old fashion hotel but great location for everyone”
-receiptionist and house maid are very nice and helpful -hotel is very old but in great location to access many activities in pattaya city -the room is old but very clean and very easy to adjust the temperature of the shower -outdoor carpark is available with security guards(no indoor carpark) -the hotel is very quiet but most tourism spend time at the pool, and the pool seems to be too tiny -breakfast is some ordinary food, but some food and drink are strongly not my taste(coffee, fried rice eg.), recommended to find something to eat outside the hotel, so that you can enjoy the city and the food at the same time -i rate this hotel as one of the good hotel in location(calm and convenient), and very good at the price especially for their service mind
Older hotel, but still nice and clean”
Although this hotel is older and could probably use a fresh coat of paint, it was one of my favorites in Pattaya, Thailand. The free "brunch" buffet was a good mix of western and local cuisine. The room was clean and spacious (and cleaned daily) with a nice balcony. There is no free wi-fi, but a reasonable rate of 500 baht for 7 days was better than seeking out a 'net bar. The hotel is VERY close to shopping malls, a ton of restaurants, the beach, movie theaters and, of course, night life. The staff seemed friendly enough with lots of smiles. The pool was good but needed a bit of repair and sprucing up. Overall, it was a great place to stay for the week.
great location!”
stayed two nights, this is my second time staying at Royal palace hotel, clean rooms with small balcony. Value for money, good hotel.
Good Value at the Royal Palace Hotel”
The position of this hotel in Pattaya is excellent. There is ample parking space for motor cars. The reception was friendly and very helpful since I had misplaced my hotel voucher, and they did not make an issue of this. The room was nice and spacious though aged with old electical plugs. These were minor defects that did not bother us at all. They have a nice swimming pool where one can relax and cool off. The breakfast was adequate and catered to Western and Asian tastes. All in all a pleasant stay at less than half the price of the four star Marriott just opposite and across the road.
older style hotel but very clean and comfortable”
The weather was not the best for the beach, one of the reasons for going to Pattaya. However the shops and market stalls were well worth the stay. Walking Street was an experience, all the lights and hustle. Lots of restaurants to choose from. I particularly liked the massages I had.
A Friendly Covenient Place To Stay”
The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. If you include it in the room rate, the buffet breakfast is superb value for money. There is a wide selection of Asian and Western food to choose from. The location is within easy walking distance of major shopping and entertainment areas. Given that Pattaya beach is not the world's best, the big swimming pool is a delight for swimmers
Great Hotel in the perfect position.”
I visited this hotel 2/11/10-14/11/10 and had no doubt about my return to this hotel. The staff are friendly and the rooms are large with very good air conditioning. The rooms are cleaned every day but the big plus is the location. I intend to return to Pattaya within the year and will probable return to this hotel.
Great location with big rooms”
The hotel is located in the center of Pattaya. The rooms are big and spacious. You can have a balcony with a beautiful view to the beachsite or poolsite. The swimmingpool is big and pleasant. The staff is competent and good organised. Breakfast is good. It is always a pleasant stay in this hotel.
Unexpectedly somewhat of quality hotel”
thanks Agoda for a very cheap deal. location is just walking distance to all shops. there's a spa massage near the gate. rooms are of 4-5 star hotel with 2-3 star hotel price. only the drawback is the staff. i'm a foreigner but i can understand a little bit of Thai and i know they're backbiting us. anyway, in general, the hotel is great!
