Traveling into Tokyo is undoubtedly easiest by bus when flying into either Narita or Heneda and the Royal Park is located right next door to the Tokyo City Air Terminal (TCAT) when the bus first stops. Directly beneath the hotel is a Tokyo metro station and, once you overcome initial fears, traveling on the network is very convenient. We recommend buying a day travel card. There isn't much touristy around the hotel but there are some fantastic and relatively inexpensive local restaurants the serve great food at reasonable prices. For fine dining try the hotels Japanese restaurant on the 5th floor or Tepanyaki on the top floor. Both are sensation but be prepared to spend a lot. I'm my opinion breakfast is ridiculously expensive at the hotel but you can stock up on something from the large 7eleven at the TCAT.
Comments for friends. Loved the Royal Park Hotel. Outstanding location with subway entrance down a couple escalators & short walk from the lobby. This made the hotel very convenient especially in the rain as we didn't go outside. TCAT bus for Narita airport is across the street. Hotel sold tickets for subway and TCAT. Room was excellent. Breakfast buffet was sensational. Staff went way beyond the call of duty to help with an unusual request. Staff brought our bags from the lobby to the room then from the lobby to the TCAT across the street upon our departure. Will definitely use this hotel if ever in Tokyo again!

Great location with brilliant view”
Do yourself a favour and stay in a club/executive room at the Royal Park Hotel. The view from the Club Room was spectacular, the breakfast buffet was divine and the evening free flowing alcohol and canapes in the Club Lounge was generous and 5 star quality - no need to for dinner. A wonderful stay and would definitely return. The Tokyo Subway which is underneath RPH opens another world that is so easily accessible and the T-CAT is right beside the hotel . So easy to get there from the airport and to get around. Staff were so friendly and helpful .
Great Hotel in a Great Location”
This hotel is located directly above Suitengumai subway station, very near Tokyo station, so it makes zooming around Tokyo very inexpensive and fast. It is also located next to the City Air Terminal, so it is convenient to catch a bus to Haneda or Narita; a lot less luggage handling and changing of subway trains. So location wise it is great. The staff here really care for their guest, so telling them what you want is not a problem. They understand and speak english well. You will get what you requested for. Service is great. The staff gladly listen to your request and will go beyond to ensure you are happy, as such I enjoy staying here despite the fact the hotel is a bit old; but very well maintained. In fact when I was there they were upgrading one of the lifts. Rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and clean. With all this combined, I would recommend others to stay here.
Cool December Break.”
Generally, it was an enjoyable six day stay at this hotel. The check-in was a breeze, and the staffs are very friendly and polite. Despite their discrepancy in English, the staffs still tried their very best to give directions and guides to our inquires of tourist sites and transportation tips. The hotel is situated in a laid back part of Tokyo, with quiet streets and cozy restaurants welcoming tourists and residents alike after a long day of work or sightseeing. One must not missed out the street vendor selling fruits and goodies in season at nightfall. These are cheap and fabulous local delicacies one must try. To sum it all, Royal Park Hotel is indeed a very good choice for all.
Well connected to Tokyo Metro and T-CAT terminal”
Traveling with young children, the most important factors are easy access to public transport within Tokyo and to/from airport. Hotel room is clean, reasonable size and very friendly staffs. This hotel is highly recommended for family with young children. If you want to fully leverage on JR pass (on JR line), take note this hotel is only accessible via Tokyo Metro. However you can purchase Tokyo Metro and Toei day pass at discounted price compared to outside.
Good Hotel next to City Airport Terminal”
I arrived via Tokyo station by taxi because of luggage. Else you can arrive by subway and stop at Sutiengumae metro rail system. Hotel is directly above that stop. This makes getting to it and going anywhere very convenient. Check in was fast and efficient and got to rooms very quick. Rooms are clean and large for japanese standards. The lounge upstairs has a nice view of the city, breakfast served from there is very good. Departure is also easy because of CAT next to the hotel, the buses leave very regularly for narita and haneda. I would return to this hotel next time.
Great location and metro just downstairs”
My 2nd time staying at this hotel. From Narita Airport, take shuttle bus to bus station next door to Hotel. From downstairs of hotel, you can enter metro and go anywhere in city. Hotel has indoor pool and hot tub facilities (but was under renov on 2nd visit). (Always as if facilities are open for your duration) Getting pricey, but that's true of anywhere in Tokyo. I would of course stay again if I return to Tokyo..
useful hotel for the nihon bashi area”
dated hotel but well maintained. very helpful stuff and well trained. their smart phone was a big help. free device for call, internet and general navigation around Tokyo area. loccintane toilletery is impressive. right next to Tokyo metro that can go to shibuya station and tcat to go straight to both airports. less shopping area around unless you walk 30 mins. have convinience store nearby.
Enjoyed our time”
Travelled with my partner and another couple. We had a great time.. stayed on the executive floors which is definitely worth the extra money. We barely had to leave the hotel. Room was spacious and had everything needed. Gym is basic but better than most hotel gyms. Staff are really courteous and helpful. Executive floor was great for breakfast and evening drinks. Amazing views also! Only issue was the pillows which I find are always bad in Japan. Taxis always available outside and Tokyo City Air Terminal is literally next door. Highly Recommend :)
Helpful staffs and good location”
The receptionist is very friendly & helpful. We appreciate that the receptionist allowed us to check in a bit earlier as seeing that we have a toddler. We took the airport limousine bus to reach the Tokyo City Air terminal station which is located next to the hotel. Metro is just downstairs of the hotel. There's Lawson at the metro station and a Family Mart opposite the hotel. There's Mc'D and some restaurants within walking distance. The room size is what we expected as it was described in Agoda when we booked. We can still put our 2 big luggage & 2 hand carry luggage. We have to thank a guy named Kawai as he took the extra step to help us to order a big taxi for us to transfer hotel to Tokyo Bay area. We strongly recommend this hotel for their triple room.
Two Night Stay ”
This is an excellent locale and accommodation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The Subway stop is below the hotel at elevator B1 level. Could not be easier. The in house restaurants are full featured, we ate in the main lobby restaurant for an evening meal. The attention to detail is excellent and the prices are in keeping with Tokyo. Will stay again during our next visit to Japan.
Love the Royal Park”
I have stayed at the RP, when I’m in Tokyo, for more than 15 years. Conveniently located close to both the Hanzomon and Hibiya lines, I can get where I need to go quickly. Staff are great and always helpful. The lounge and restaurant are great, too. Rooms are more spacious than the other RP and the lobby is a great pace to chill (ax). Did I mention that the limousine bus from both Haneda and Narita stop, right beside the hotel at Hokozaki bus terminal ? Love it !
No complimentary water and tea/coffee is drawback”
Thumbs Down: I reached my hotel room and found it to be too small for the money i paid. What aggravated me most was the fact that i was traveling for over 14 hours and feeling really thirsty just to get in the hotel room after midnight and be faced with no (complimentary water) and no (complimentary tea/coffee). Most, if not all, 5-star hotels that i have been to around the world tend to have such complimentary service for its guests, while the Royal Park Hotel-Tokyo strangely did not include such least expected hospitality to its guest residents. Thumbs Up: Great staff support, wonderful room service, excellent electronic auto-functioning WC at the toilet that operates with touch of buttons (and this is a unique feature that i have never come across anywhere in the world), excellent daily replenishment of toilet consumables. And, wonderful Executive Lounge facility.
Great Location and facilities ”
Very near Tokyo Shin Station. Very good accessibility to train station. Exit 4 of Seitengumae station leads you to the hotel doors. Good food, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff.
Great Tokyo base”
We were in town for the marathon. We booked an exec room - costs more but you get a lot more, inc large room & exec lounge with unlimited drinks, and some food, plus unlimited use of the health club. Hotel has direct access on to the great Tokyo metro - easily the best way to get around town.
Very spacious room size, Excellent location, right next to the airport terminal where shuttle buses are available to both Tokyo Airport, and you're able to go to the subway station at the B1 level. Good choice for travelers planning to take subway for sightseeing.
Clean Rooms, good location”
We stayed at the Club Floor, the lounge in the evening and breakfast was quite crowded perhaps a little too crowded for our comfort. Location is good as its right above a subway station. Moreover it is linked to the Tokyo City Air Terminal which has limousine buses running every 15 mins to Narita and Haneda, making it very convenient. Good for the wet season as you wont get wet. The front staff were too detailed and we found the service to be very slow.
Booked this hotel because the photos looked great. Room was very spacious but bathroom was ridiculously small by comparison. Conveniently located above the subway station and we made full use of the Subway ticket! Staff were friendly but not quite as helpful as at the other places we’d stayed, but this may have been because the ones we spoke with weren’t quite as fluent in English. They certainly tried to help but it was definitely obvious they didn’t fully understand the question. Was not a big deal. Disappointed that the use of the fitness centre and pool were additional charges. For an advertised 5-star hotel, would have expected this to be included in the price. Not sure if this is something unique to Japan, though.
