Nice hotel and great location”
Nice hotel, Good buffet and great location, only thing we could fault was the pool was a little mouldy and the metal rails were green from mould, other then that everything was clean and people extremely nice.
Dear Andrew, Thank you for your review. We are glad to read that you enjoyed the hotel, its location and the breakfast. The pool rails do gather a little bit of moss due to the prevalence of vegetation in our hotel, but we do our best to keep them clean. Best regards, Chau
Best Location, Value, Cleanliness in Patong”
We just returned, spent 10 nights with friends, 5 deluxe room (for AUD49), 2 deluxe suites (for AUD59). The deluxe rooms were in the main building on the first and second floor, the deluxe suites were on the 3rd floor. Although we had to climb the stairs, it was worth it to be in the main building. The other rooms, superior and standard rooms are located in the garden buildings. Although the garden is beautiful, we preferred to have a pool view from our balcony. Beautiful traditional thai building, the pool is fantastic, all staff members are helpful & friendly. The breakfast was very good, I don't understand people with bad review regarding breakfast; I'm wondering how many choices do those people have for breakfast at home?! Location wise it is in central position, walking distance to everywhere. The travel desk lady is very friendly and helpful; although she's offering good prices, I recommend to know the prices before you're trying to negotiate your daytrips:) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Hello, Thank you very much for your thorough review! We are happy to read that you enjoyed your stay at the Royal Phawadee Village within our main building. Thank you for your very nice comment about breakfast. It is indeed not easy to please everyone but we try our best. We hope to see you again very soon. With best regards, Chau
Pros: Absolutely beautiful grounds - I can't recommend any stronger. Fabulous 2 story accommodation for the family, with a large balcony, felt more like a house than a hotel! Location very convenient in Patong. Cons: Limited parking but the porter will help out when needed. The breakfast is 'foreign' tasting for we Brits. Sometimes outside noise and smells may detract some guests but nothing major in my opinion.
Dear Timothy, Thank you for your review! We are happy to read that you enjoyed the Family Suite and its balcony. Parking is indeed limited but we do provide up to 6 spots. We hope to see you again soon. Best regards, Chau
Good location but...”
Pros: - good location... opposite is Beyond Night Market which sells good local food. Bangla Street is 10min walk. Jungceylon is 15min walk. Lotsa cheap massage centers outside hotel. Patong Beach is 5min walk. - clean room. Furnitures a bit old n outdated but room is clean. Be careful of bird poops in balcony table n chairs. Ants on balcony floor (so don’t leave food outside). - reasonable sized swimming pool - buffet breakfast is ok... both local n international food provided. Not many choice but enough to keep us full. - staff is friendly but speaks limited English Cons - check out time is 11.30am. Non negotiable. - housekeeping is moderate. Room floor is sticky most of the time so we had to wear room slippers inside the room. - they provided us pool towels (brown color) for inside room usage instead of the normal room towels (white color). A little bit gross but hope they wash it properly.
Hi Khay, Thank you for your thorough review! I have taken into consideration all your comments and have passed them to the relevant staff. Pool and room towels are cleaned by the same facilities, nonetheless please accept our apologies for giving you pool towels. Best regards, Chau
Great location and great character. For the $30-$55aud price we paid for 2 rooms it was good value ”
A little run down on parts of buildings but they are working on it. To bring this up a star it would need to improve gym and breakfast foods. Pool was lovely and clean as well as rooms. Lovely Thai character hotel the gardens add to the appeal but have mosquito repellent ready. Would stay again for the location (quiet but central) and if wanting a budget hotel stay.
Hi Nicole, Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed the hotel and its gardens. Breakfast is always improving, and we have scheduled a renewal of some of the gym equipment. Best regards, Chau
Traditional Thai Facilities”
I had a very good stay at this hotel. Close to everything and the staff were great. Breakfast was similar everyday, but it did cater for everybody’s needs. Pool area is very relaxing. My best stay I had in Patong and will return in future.
Dear Frederick, Thank you for your review. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see again very soon! Best regards, Chau
Not for families ”
Small pool, noises from all partying at hotels around. Bad breakfast The manager is absolutely awful rest of the stuff lovely
Dear Malin, Thank you for review. We are sad to read that you did not enjoy the size of the pool but hope you still enjoyed the rest of your stay with us. Best regards, Chau
Not a kids friendly hotel!!!”
We were allowed to book the deluxe room with 2adults and 2kids (age 7). Agoda page told us breakfast included but end up I need to pay 800THB for my kids breakfast. I keep telling them Agoda page stated breakfast included but the manager keep telling me its Agoda problem. This is their so call “hotel policy”. I’m quite upset with this kind of answer.
Hello Liew, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We take every bit of criticism with the upmost importance. You stayed in a superior room for 2 adults with 2 children over five years old at no extra cost, which is not our Agoda policy at the time of your stay. I'm sure you can understand that while we waived the extra bed fee, we did not extend this courtesy to the breakfast as well. I hope that you still enjoyed your stay in Royal Phawadee Village. Best regards, Chau
outside pool area beautiful. rooms dark and old. strange management - went swimming around 7:30 pm and asked to stop because they were dumping in pails of chlorine. would not morning before pool is open be better? breakfast good.
Hello Lester, Thank you for your review, we take every bit of criticism with a lot of attention. We'll make sure not to schedule pool maintenance during the evening whenever possible. Best regards, Chau
Gem Garden Oasis with Supreme Location”
As you sit at breakfast on a deck overlooking lush, manicured gardens and the mountains beyond, it’s easy to forget that bustling Patong is out the front door. This hotel is truly a gem and one of a kind as its architecture and grounds beckon back to a yet-to-be-discovered Phuket. Traditional Thai architecture, ornate details, beautiful teal wood finishes and the extraordinary gardens (complete with koi pond) make this feel more like staying in an upscale Thai home than merely an hotel. We loved it so much, we extended our stay by three days. Every room on the property has its own outside table and chairs for lounging and rooms with their own balcony are situated to overlook the lush gardens. The grounds must be some of the finest in Patong with species of plants we had never seen before and orchids growing like little color bursts in surprising places. The pool is lovely and low key....no party music blaring., just serenity with a nice breeze that seems to always find its way through the open breezeway reception into the open, inner sanctum courtyard that all rooms face. The staff is incredibly accommodating and eager to please with newly-appointed manager, Max, at the helm. We had two great meals at La Boucherie — the property’s French-inspired restaurant (full menu offers Thai and American options too, but after weeks of Thai food we savored the cheese plate with beautiful French cheeses). The location is steps from the beach and a couple blocks from Bangla Road. The only drawback is the pool bar of the hotel next door that blares rap/dance party music Saturday night and beginning at 1pm Sunday. Just plan to be off the property at these times if noise is a concern. We have stayed in many hotels in Patong and this gem garden oasis will be our go-to accommodation moving forward.
The room is very clean and nice! Nice pool! Very helpful and friendly staff! The food is really nice! Near to patong beach just a few minutes away and Bangla Road! I will definitely go back to Phuket and will definitely stay at this hotel!
Lovely pool and garden, great location ”
Great place to stay-quiet street but still close to shops & beach (2 min walk); nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Only negatives for us were the very limited breakfast (choose only one item from 3 on the menu-buffet would have been better) and getting hit with the 18% Thai hotel tax-we should have booked from Australia. This made it a bit expensive.
Quiet but near the craziness”
Nice, clean, but it should be noted there are NO elevators, just stairs to 3rd floor. You are on your own carrying luggage if a porter isn't there. Be SURE to inspect EVERYTHING, every drawer, everything because there is a penalty charge list for which you will be accountable if ANYTHING isn't 100% perfect. All of staff were extremely nice and helpful except for a heavyset guy at night. Would return and recommend.
Very unique n Thai wooden design hotel. Very beautiful , room is big n clean ”
Located next street of patong banglar road. Good location as near but away from noise fr hottest place in Phuket . I like the design of the hotel n many trees n plant inside the poor n garden area
Dear guest, Thank you for your review, we are very happy to read that you enjoyed the unique style of the hotel and its location. We hope to see you again in Royal Phawadee Village. Best regards, Chau
Amazing place amazing staff!!”
Greeted with a cold flannel ,a cocktail and a very warm welcome , it was very clean , the pool was fantastic , the staff were all helpful and made you feel at home!! The lady in the restaurant was lovely and was like a friend to me we had many laughs together and she looked after me very well . I will definitely return again.from the UK.
Royal Phawadee Village Patong”
This is a nice hotel and is conveniently located. Pool is a bit small and there is no elevator but at least they have people available to help you with your luggage. I booked a suite room overlooking the pool and it was very nice and spacious. Would absolutely stay here again.
Great Place to Stay ”
I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is easy to walk to the beach in a couple minutes and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel has a pleasant atmosphere so easy to relax. The staff were very helpful and friendly. They do allow unregistered guests to stay, but there is an extra charge of 1000 baht per night if I remember correctly. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The only issue I could see some people having is that the WiFi is not good or does not work at all during bad weather and that the rooms do not keep out noise from the outside so you will hear people outside or the hotel next to this one if they are having a party or people are laud there. Other than that I have not issue with this hotel and would gladly stay there again and recommend it to friends.
Don't be so stingy about the small things”
Staff was great- had stomach problems and they provided me with medicine gratis. The only regret was that they requested that my friend pay a 300 baht/ $10US fee to swim in the hotel pool (he was staying at another hotel). It was completely empty and we were only in for about one hour. Also, wish the restaurant had room service.
Very clean hotel, obliging staff, far enough away from the madness to be quiet at night, but close enough for you to walk there should you want it. Only downside was that the WiFi didn't work in our room but it did in reception and want a major concern to us anyway. We would happily stay there again.
The hotel is nice. The staff are very helpfull But be aware this hotel don't have a lift. We stay in the deluxe suite which is located in the 3rd floor. Next door hotel is under construction. The noise during the day is terrible. Breakfast need more option. Bacon, sosis, ham & eggs every day. Just 1 menu they change from fried rice, fried noodle and pourige. Day 1 had a broken shower and they can not do fixing until the morning after. Day 3 the phone is not working. Day 6 the water stop completely. They need to go back to gix it about 3 times so my family can finish showering. But the gesture is GREAT. They gave us free absolutely fabilous free dinner. But after all that. We do have a great time, thanks to the staff that so much helpfull. They try their best to make do with every thing that need tobe replace.
