When arriving at the counter, just present your passport and the staff will verify the details of your reservation, number of guests, and other accommodation details. It's recommended to bring a credit card as a security deposit of $500 per night is required, which will be multiplied by the number of nights. However, if you prefer to pay in cash, you can do so, but you need to exchange it for the exact amount. The staff provides excellent service. You can leave your luggage before check-in time (2pm) and collect the key card in the evening to access your room. The room is as shown in the pictures - clean and spacious. The bathroom is divided into dry and wet areas, and there is a clothes ironing table with an iron for female guests. The hairdryer is in the drawer near the sink and cannot be removed for use outside. The shower area is convenient, and there is a coffee maker with a kettle for hot water. Most importantly, there is a separate tap for drinking or boiling water for hot beverages. All the equipment is clean, and the towels are changed daily. After a long day of sightseeing, it's relaxing to use the swimming pool. There is a compact hot tub area that can accommodate about 10 people. It's very comfortable and relaxing. Oh, I almost forgot, there is also a sauna room available. The male and female areas are clearly separated, and there are dressing rooms with bathing facilities, hairdryers, and combs for guests to use after showering. It's definitely worth it. The hotel is located in a shopping mall, so you can find food and drinks easily. The MTR subway station and bus station are right next to the mall, so it's very convenient and you don't have to walk far. It's a shopping area for bags, shoes, food, and drinks in Mongkok. At night, you can walk from the hotel to the shopping area in about 15 minutes. When I booked, I chose the Family room without breakfast for 6 nights. The total cost was around 31,000 Thai Baht, which was a bit expensive. During check-out, it only took about 5 minutes to complete. The hotel staff called a taxi for me to go to the Airport Express Kowloon Station to catch my flight. It was convenient and quick, and I didn't have to drag my luggage far. The taxi fare was less than $60. The only downside is that they don't provide bottled drinking water, so you have to buy it yourself. There is also no bidet spray available.

Checked in the night before my birthday (check-out day was my birthday). We didn't inform the front desk that it was my birthday, but they must have seen it in my passport and wished me a happy birthday in advance. They even upgraded our room by one level. After checking in, we went out to explore and the staff told us we could leave our bags and they would bring them up to the room (which we understood to be a normal service for this level of hotel). But to our surprise, when we returned to the room, there was a chocolate cake with a Happy Birthday sign and even roses placed in the bathroom for us to float in the bathtub. We felt really great about this pre-birthday surprise. It was a complete pre-birthday experience.

The location is very convenient, situated at Mong Kok East Station and connected to the New Century Plaza Mall. Shopping and dining options are just downstairs. Famous streets such as Ladies' Market, Goldfish Market, and Sneaker Street can be reached within 5-10 minutes by foot via pedestrian bridges. It is very convenient to walk to Mong Kok and Prince Edward MTR stations without the need to transfer lines. If I visit Hong Kong again, I would continue to stay at the Royal Plaza Hotel.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Check-in and check-out were both smooth and efficient. The room itself was comfortable with a good view of the city, although it wasn't facing the mountainside. The daily housekeeping service was excellent, with our room being cleaned meticulously by a very friendly staff member. One of the biggest advantages of staying here was the hotel's convenient location. It is directly connected to MOKO Mall and just a few steps away from Mong Kok East MTR station (Exit D), making it easy to explore the city. The hotel also offered a nice perk for beer lovers - complimentary ice buckets for enjoying drinks in the room. However, it's worth noting that you'll need to bring your own charger adapter as the outlets in the room may have different plugs. We found a convenient solution by charging our devices in the bathroom, which had outlets that were compatible with our chargers. The room size was adequate, not too large or too small, and suitable for our needs. One minor drawback was the lack of a lock on the bathroom door. Additionally, we found it a bit inconvenient to have to state our room number to the staff at the lobby each time we returned to the hotel. Overall, we would recommend this hotel for its convenient location, clean rooms, and friendly service. Tips for future guests: Bring a travel adapter if your devices use a different plug type.
