Huge disappointment . Worse hotel I have visited for long time”
Fortunately, we spent only one night at this hotel, so it was a short bad experience. Don't expect to get what you see in the photos. The photos probably Photoshop, or taken from another hotel, at another time. I was fooled by positive reviews from years ago. Nowadays, the hotel is old, dirty, and not comfortable. A very low value for what you pay. I felt like ripped off. The restroom smelled like a public urination . The floor was so dirty and sticky. I could hear the shoes sticking to the floor while walking. Towels with human hair all over. Beds with body hair all over. Probably towels and bed sheets used from the previous guests. Noticeable heavy layer of dust blocking the air grill at the restroom, and colored thick ice in the refrigerator. Looks like last cleaned when David was a king of Israel (c. 1035-970 BCE). Beds are small and pillows are not comfortable. I took photos, but cant post here. Positive: Good location, polite staff, and good breakfast.
Top location ”
Nice reception staff i was upgraded to a mini penthouse
A good place in Jerusalem”
The only draw is the quality of the towels. A SHAME
Basic accommodations. Small room, no frills and no luxury. Definitely an economy choice, but the location is terrific. Okay if all you want is a clean place to sleep and a refrigerator to keep costs down. Might not work for a family with small children who need a lot of space to play or who are not good sleepers who do't need need quiet.
Not clean, a lot of noise, the security guard rude, not education this man, the workers not attentive, nothing freindly, I pay for a good service, they think they are doing a favor, the first day not water for 1 hour, the bath room small no good.
Even my picky husband liked it”
Pros: windows open for nice cool air at night (in June); bedroom and living area are separated so my husband could sleep while I tended to baby on the other side; nice big crib for baby. close to lots of shops, not far from old city. Staff was helpful. Rooms were very clean, although dated. Usually older places (at least in the States) have a mold/mildew/musty smell that is intolerable for our allergies but there was no problem whatsoever here. Shabbat candles provided in the lobby on Friday.
Expect to wait if you show up on their Shabbat till 7:00 pm . Location excellent close to Ben Yahuda”
The suite was adequate,, clean,. Liked the location
While booking a room we havent been notified that the check in on Saturday is at 8 -9 pm. In fact on Agoda confirmation it was clealy said that the check in is at 3 pm. I undestand that it’s not a regular day in Israel but if there was at least an information about it then we would plan our trip completly different. Additonally the staff isnt very helpful nor sorry about that and the only explanation is that it’s shabbat.
Good deal in the center of the city”
Clean, roomy, comfortable. God value for the money. pleasant staff. My only criticism - WIFI wasn't free in the rooms. In 2018, WIFI should be free. I recommend this place to people looking for an easily affordable, pleasant clean place to stay where the staff is friendly and courteous.
Great value for the price and comfortable accommodations ”
Bathroom had an odor. The coffee packets weren't replaced unless I asked nor did I receive a new mug. But overall I was pleased with my stay.
Perfect for what we needed”
My friend and I came about 40 minutes early to check in. They asked no questions and charged us no extra money- they let us go to our room. It was a clean room with a comfortable amount of space for the two of us. They also had a bottle of water on the table when we got there which was very much needed after a long flight. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
Our home away from home ”
This perfectly located Apartment/hotel is our "go to" when we are in Jerusalem. It's far from fancy, don't expect a pool, bells or whistles. But it's clean and the staff is always willing to help with a smile. The food is good, and the location is perfect. Some of the rooms need a face lift, but who cares. The rooms come with a little kitchenette, making it very convenient for a longer stay. If you don't mind 70's decor, you want an affordable, clean place to stay, with a super sweet staff, in the center of town where you can walk to EVERYTHING, Lev Yerushaliyim is perfect!
Room was nice, location is excellent. Breakfast was incredible!
Short winter holiday”
We arrived near midnight, it was no problem. Breakfast next morning was adequate, and well-stocked even at 9:30. The reception staff helped us out with every information we needed, from how to get voicemail on my phone to ordering a Nesher car to the airport on the last day. We had two bedrooms. One was a good size with ample cupboards, the other smaller but OK. The big plus was the dining/living area - plenty of space to relax in. TV there and in the main bedroom. Did I mention free Wifi throughout the hotel? Rooms were cleaned, towels changed, with minimum fuss. And all the staff were friendly to us. The only negative was the daily noise from nearby building work, from 7 am. It was not too bad, and it's sure to be finished soon. Definitely would use this hotel again.
I had a great stay and the price was great. I just think that I overpaid to have an extra person sleep in the room for one night.
great suite hotel for moderate price”
carpeting in hallways could have been vacuumed cleaner along the sides. doorways should be painted where necessary to give a better appearance.
excellent room design, comfortable living”
good location, good atmosphere”
You can walk from the old city to the hotel in about 15mins. Good location to go to anywhere in Jerusalem. Breakfast is optional but you have a small fridge and a microwave oven for your own breakfast if you want. They have an elevator though the site page here says they don't. And you have to pay for wifi service.
