Our plan is to move in another hotel but we cannot find any as spacious, value of your money and in good location than this ROyal Season hotel. So we decided to book another on more night before we leave going to Taipei. Still foods are superb with various choices and friendly helpful staff. I remember Mr. Chui if I spelled his name correctly he is maybe on the night shift lobby/reception because I can only see him in the night. He really a helpful guy and can speak english although not so much but enough to understand. He is always suggesting and helping us a lot where to go which is I believe he is an asset in the hotel. Dinning room staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Home away from home”
We stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The service was one of the best, the staff are friendly and helpful. I am very particular about bathrooms when it comes to choosing hotels. The bathroom in the Deluxe Family room is big and clean. Towels are within easy reach such that you wont have to make the floor wet and slippery when getting out of the shower. The room itself is huge. We still had lots of room to move around after opening up all our luggage bags on the ground. The only thing, if I had to nitpick, was there was not enough power points for us to charge all our electronics. 3 of us were staying in the room and we had a couple of electronics each, therefore not enough. Location: I thought the location was pretty convenient as the bus stops are just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. And because we can travel for free within 10km (with EasyCard), we did not find any problem getting to places. We even traveled with our luggage bags on the bus to the hotel from Taichung Station (only 7 stops from Taichung station, 16 minutes away including waiting for the bus). Will definitely stay here again if I come to Taichung again.

Excellent hotel and staff”
The staff are very helpful and efficient. The room is big, clean and everything works. The large bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent with a nearby bus station to deliver you to museums, shopping and the railway station. The room was also very quiet. I have stayed at many hotels in Asia and I can recommend the Royal Seasons Hotel as one of the best.

Place is nice, but was further away from key areas of Taichung”
Lovely staff, looks good inside, but it was a reasonable distance from some of the better areas of Taichung and we had to get plenty of taxis. Rooms are very good. Clean, new and has pretty much everything you need. Breakfast was good, although when busy and later on, food does seem to run out. All in all, pretty good, and gave 3 stars for location due to the taxis we had to get (although uber are very useful). Also gave 4 star for price as we managed to get a late deal and the price was more than half, which was maybe still slightly overpaid, or so it seems. Anyway, still great place, thanks

Great Hotel”
I travel very frequently and this was one of the most pleasant hotel stays. The room was very large, modern and also large bathroom. Housekeeping was perfect with the room being very well serviced and spotlessly clean. All staff, from reception, concierge, restaurant & managers could not be faulted, they were all very friendly and helpful. The hotel does not offer room service meals, but this is not a problem as there is a wide selection and variety of restaurants close by and on the one occasion I really wanted to eat in my room, concierge assisted me in ordering a meal to be delivered from the adjacent restaurant.

Best hotel in taichung”
This hotel significantly exceeds our expectation. Because we only paid 60+ SGD for one room one night, we donot expect much initially. However wverything here is perfect! The location is very convenient, right beside qiedongjiao bus stop, which has a list of buses. The room is large, especially the toliet. The staffs are friendly.

Our cases were stored by the hotel waiting for our return from Sun Moon Lake. Obliging staff gave us the same room again which added to our comfort. View from our window, fridge, kettle, good size bed and room. Would happily recommend.

Great value for the money”
Very clean room and comfortable bed. Breakfast was really good considering it a 4 star hotel as well. Though location is little bit far from everything, city itself is not big so I would definitely recommend this place.

Of all the shitty hotel breakfasts I've ever had, Royal Seasons Taichung wins. Not even a glass of water, unless you want boiling water. Scrambled eggs did exist, alongside the usual cold noodles and random abattoir floor scrapings found in Taiwanese cuisine. The eggs were accompanied by sausage, which obviously were cold, because why not. But hey, at least the milk is warm. My unreasonable morning water cravings were almost satisfied by the coffee though, which managed to at least be warm, but had all the taste of water diluted with cholera. But hey, at least the rooms were clean. I say rooms, because room #1 had a clogged drain, causing a change of rooms. Room #2 had a bathtub instead of a shower, with no curtain and a wall socket at perfect electrocution range if you slip with the shower head (which by the way is of the with a fixed wall mount variety, at roughly 160cm height, perfect to use as a bidet if you're an adult). Both shower heads were leaking at the fittings, probably to provide amusement (and in the case of room #2, potential death) for children, or something. Also, the bathroom door wouldn't even close, since at least one hinge had met Royal Seasons' maintenance crew. The bed headboard wasn't fixed, so it banged against the wall as soon as you moved. The bed itself either had bed bugs or the sheets were washed with something my skin was definitely allergic to - even 36h after leaving this hellhole, my legs are itching like mad (and the itching started roughly 30 minutes after I got in bed.) Enough complaints though... No, wait, the fridge was pathetic. After 12h on max power, it'd managed to slightly chill a bottle of water. At least the eggs were lukewarm. Come to think of it, so were the sausages.

Clean, friendly, quiet, roomy.”
We had a very pleasant stay for one night. The deluxe double room was large, clean, fresh, and comfortable. The bed was western style, meaning softer and long enough for a taller person. The hotel is newer as of the summer of 2014, so the bathrooms were nice, the furniture good, internet worked, TV was fine, room had a mini fridge that worked, and the room was large enough for 6 people to hang out and play some board games for a few hours. The only real negative was the breakfast. There is no Western breakfast, and I've had better Taiwanese breakfasts at other places. We eventually just left the breakfast buffet after some coffee and fruit and went to a local restaurant to get something better. A huge positive was that the hotel was truly a non-smoking building. It's nearly impossible to find a non-smoking hotel in Taiwan as most Chinese and Taiwanese visitors tend to ignore no-smoking requirements so the rooms always have that lingering odor. But not at this place. It was really nice.

Nice room and wonderful hotel staff”
The staff is very helpful when my hubby got hurt. They made useful recommendations and assisted the transportation to Taichung hospital. They are calm and provided first aid to my hubby. I am grateful to the staff. They also provided very accurate information as to where to get medical supplies and Mr. CARTER had assisted me in helping my hubby up the taxi with the umbrella as it was raining on the day we are departing Taiwan for home.

Pleasant stay, large room ”
We booked the deluxe family room and it was huge! The beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was typical buffet-style with a mix of Western and Chinese-style dishes. However, the dining area could get very crowded and noisy. Room wasn't very sound proof and we could hear the TV sound from another room at 12+am. Perhaps, there could be a sign to remind customers to lower down after 10pm.

The location is ideal with a 7-11 located very close by and BRT (city bus) stations just outside the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful, polite and helpful, and the beds are big and comfy

Excellent staff service...”
Room was acceptable but service is first class. I accidentally left a piece of clothing when we moved to Kaoshiung area. Contacted them and they helped to arrange courier my clothing to be received at our Kaoshiung hotel. They helped to follow up with the courier company on the status of the package when the courier did not arrive on the said date. Very helpful staff despite all the calls/correspondences made, to and fro. Highly recommend this hotel for their service.

We stay there for a night with two kids. The staff offered an upgrade of our family room to one with a living area with no extra charge. Very spacious and clean. Wish I can stay there for a few more nights. Room rate is reasonable and staff is the most helpful I encountered during my 7 days Taiwan trip. Location is not bad.

Staff was friendly to direct us to the different locations, offered maps, checking of timing for trains. Rooms are spacious. Doors are a bit heavy, might be too heavy for elders or young children to open though. Toilets are spacious, clean. Complementary shower gels, conditional and shampoo in build in the shower area too.
