Double Room with Two Double Beds

      Great location”
location, bar at reception, and comfy beds
The hotel was great. The location is a short walk from Bourbon st. The beds are comfortable. Grab a margarita or hurricane at reception while you wait, on your way out or up.

Central - Right Opposite Marriott, Near to Hilton ”
      (1) Walkable to Bourbon St and Casino (2) Easy to get to food and restaurant (3) Not as noisy to stay as in French Quarter
The hotel was clean and the staff pleasant and smiley. There are a few things to note: 1) Parking costs $32 (by valet). Self Parking is available at $16, and you will be parking at the Hilton's carpark, which must be the worst Hilton car park ever. You will need to park 6th floor upwards and the carpark is small, with rough edges, very tight maneuvering. If you are driving a large vehicle, the average driver is going to have difficulty. 2) There is an additional amenity fee of about $9-10, which is compulsory and ridiculous!!! In fact, this is on top of city tax , state tax... Probably nothing the hotel regarding this, but as a consumer I hate it. 3) We got a balcony room which is think must be far nicer than those which are non-balcony, as you get to step outside, get a bit of a view. Downside is some traffic noise. 4) What gets me is the silly check in and check out timing. Check in is 3PM and check out is 11AM. You might be able to get 1/2 hr or 1 hr off. Anything longer than that is $25 per hour. This must be the shortest hotel stay timing ever! I don't know if this is the norm in this part of the states, but it sure is shocking, and makes me think the hotel maids system is really inefficient. Travellers, if you want to be spoilt, go to Asia. Check in at 12-2pm typical, check out from 12 - 4 pm.

Friendly folks, nice place, central location”
      central location, confortable room
This is a nice hotel at a nice price. Located not far from all the action. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. Great coffee shop in the lobby. The rooms were nice and the bed was very comfortable. The only complaints I have are the hours of the coffee shop and the fact that I ran out of hot water the first night of the stay. All other nights were great!

      Good location, nice room”
recently renovated room, in-room safe provided
Location is good, close to French quarter but far enough to be out of the Bourbon St bedlam. Hotel still undergoing extensive renovations, including lobby, gym, etc.

      comfort hotel ”
      close to french square
this hotel is located only 1 block away from french square. so you can have fun and drink as much as you can, then walk back to the hotel. there are many places that you may stay right in the middle of the square, but those are too noisy. in conclusion, here will be the good place close to night life but still can sleep peacefully.

      Royal St Charles”
Location, cleanliness, and size of the room.
I was on the eighth floor and it still was pretty loud from outside.
Overall a really good hotel especially for the price. The location was great since the street car was right in front of the hotel and bourbon street and a ton of restraunts were only a short walk away. The only thing I was unappy with was the thirty dollars a night charged for parking and a mandatory eight dolars a night for the phone and safe, which we never used, that was not mentioned anywhere until we got to the hotel.

      Great location goob basic value.”
Location is the best feature, the rooms are good reception staff helpfull.
The only bad feature regarding the hotel was the fact that you had to pay 8.95 per day for gym Very limited) and E-mail which a lot of cheaper hotels offer for free. In addition there was a charge of 25 dollars plus tax for parking. There was no mention of these factors on the website, which is a major ommission.
the hotel was very easy to find. it is on one of the most famous streets in the city. A very good feature is that the trolley stop is outside for 2 routes and the other route is only 5 to 10 minutes away. It is one block from Bourbon street and 100 metres from Canal Street.
