Boasting its gracious Malaysian hospitality, this is one of the best hotels in Kuala Lumpur. Centrally situated in Kuala Lumpur's business district, it is designed to reflect the true Malaysian heritage in the architecture, allowing guests to experience a truly Malaysian vacation. It also offers 300 deluxe rooms and 102 well-appointed serviced apartments and studios. The rooms are furnished with ceramics, carved wood, and textiles offering its clients luxury, comfort, and an Asian feel at the same time. An elegant hotel indeed, it features amenities like a fully-equipped gymnasium and spa. A beautifully designed hotel that has a great location, a complete set of facilities any 5-star must possess, and warm Asian hospitality, Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur proves itself to be one of the best choices of stay in Kuala Lumpur.

This hotel has lovely big rooms which are quiet and cool. Typically the room rates are very reasonable and the facilities very good especially the swimming pool. It is little big tricky walking to the Pavillion Shopping Centre and Bukit Bintang area due to construction sites nearby (although construction noise is not an issue at all). I would recommend that travellers select a room rate that includes the comprehensive buffet breakfast because it is expensive to buy separately.
old fashioned luxury”
I arrived early and was checked into my room without a problem. Rooms are large and comfortable HOWEVER the toilet had not been scrubbed, the fridge had mold inside and there was a dead fly on the carpeted suitcase shelf. The hotel is well kept (generally), but some of the decor is getting dated, and the granite counter top in room 345 was badly chipped on one corner. Breakfast was fine; good coffee and a range of food choices were available. Despite some disappointments, I enjoyed my stay, and I would recommend the Royale Chulan (Bukit Bintang) to others.
Pros: Huge room Beautiful design Nicely decorated King size bed Huge toilet/shower/Bathtub Buffet spread is good Walking distance to Pavilion Love the pool and the gym Easy access to everywhere Easy to get a Grab and taxi Friendly and helpful staff Cons: Nothing
Amazing birthday treat staycation”
Check in process was a breeze and the hotel accommodated our request to have the city view. The room was spacious and spot clean. The staff delivered a complimentary birthday cake to the room which was a nice touch. Breakfast spread was splendid. Although it was peak hour and busy hour, the staff carried our their duty with a smile. I would come back for their hospitality, wonderful room and comfy bed. Thank you Royale Chulan KL!
staff being bias ”
i came dressing very simple as i was from the hospital nearby. but the staff gave me a look as though i don't deserve to be there. well i am a self payed guest!!! pls treat all guest with same respect.
Very nice & strategic hotel”
Hotel come with bathtub.. so lovely. After week of hetic, I feel so pleasant. Hotel nearby to pavillion. If you doesnt want to eat at pavillion just go with grab food or panda food. Ill definately come to this hotel again. I lunch at one of cafe at this hotel and yet price is affordable. Quantity food is large, you can share with your partner. Thank you
Spacious room, good location.”
We booked a Club Room. Very spacious and balconies on two sides, room 1824. Bathtub and separate shower. Next to Melaka Megamall. 15 minute walk to Jonker Street. Free movies on demand, comfortable bed. Breakfast okay, good selection.
Comfort in an Older Style Hotel”
The property is well ocated a few minutes walk from the popular Bukit Timah nightlife area, as well as just down the road from Pavillion Shopping Centre, with hundreds of modern high end outlets, restaurants and a number of pubs. Rooms are large, and well maintained. The bed I had was very comfortable. The bathroom is large and included a bath and separate shower. The toilet was also separated in an opaque glass enclosure. Internet service was fine, and the WiFi worked well throughout the hotel. A little disappointed in the breakfast though, as it included only a few items one could class as "western" for breakfast - obviously there was no ham - but oddly there was no turkey ham or beef bacon either (not that they are really good substitutes of course). One pet hate is when Asian hotels include frankfurters, as ":sausages" - which they never seem to understand are not normally suitable for breakfast. Generally it is a decent hotel for the price that I paid.
Selesa itk berehat and dekat dgn tpt shopping
The service, the room , the staff are very friendly and the food was delicious.. the idea by giving discount for buffet dinner for the guest is brilliant.. keep it up.. will definitely stay here again and recommended to others.. overall everything was excellent.

Good environment with good decoration, nice room and feel comfortable, nice staff, nice customer service.Having buka puasa at Bunga Emas . food is so delicious and cheap. Will come again next time ❤️
I choose this hotel bcoz of its deco, and i was no disappointed. Loved the experience staying here. Altho there were a lot of contractions around the hotel so it was a little disturbing. However, we still loved this stay
Favourite hotel in KL”
This is by far the best hotel I have been to. The staff are friendly. They are helpful too. Once I left my laptop in the room, they kept it for me till I returned a few weeks later. Kudos to the team :)
the breakfast not 5 star standard”
love our stay at royale chulan with spacious bedroom and great bathroom. i came here often. but two things i notice that no life quard observed at swimming pool which few hotel guests with improper attire swimming in pool and the breakfast spread not up to standard 5 star hotel. it should be more tastier and proper managed
Lovely for Bussiness”
Nothing to be tell, its my weekly stay at my lounge in Royale Chulan. Completely lovely at every inch and every matter, from the step you get out from the car the they will greeted you, to the reception, and also the concierge was so nice to us. Thank You.
The room was spacious and the staff were friendly and very efficient.
Worth every RM😊”
Value for money.
Staff needs improvement”
Stayed here 20-22 Feb (2 nights). Booked at MYR1000 with Agoda with pay at the hotel option, but when check in you are informed that you will be charged MYR 1080. When you just arrived getting tired through all those lines in the airport etc, you want to spend your time to argue? Staff likes they want to be the other side of the service. When entering breakfast the day I checked out at 06:30 the staff at the door asked my room number and when I replied with my room number, he just simply said, "ok" while keep staring in his list, not bothering to see my eyes when replying. I travel mostly once a month and in busy times probably twice a month in ASEAN region. This is the first time of such. In other hotels they always replied while making eye contact with a smile and make a welcoming gesture to welcome me to the restaurant. Probably I get too accustomed with better service at other hotels...
