Comfortable and welcoming”
Not a lot of options in Yasothon, which is part of its charm. Staff at RP were all smiles, helpful and made me feel welcome. The location is close to a market, and the walking street night market is about 15 minutes on foot. The hotel has a couple of bicycles available for guests. It's a nice city for a ride.

In Yasothon for the rocket festival”
Modern concrete block hotel, but clean with friendly staff. But then, everyone in Yasothon I met is friendly. Good size room with the usual amenities. Breakfast included but on the first day there was only one chicken rice soup on offer, plus bread and jam. Better selection the second day, when I suppose they had more guests. Convenient location near the town centre. I would have stayed longer but they said they were full, so moved to the nearby Orchid Gardens Hotel. Similar style but without the free breakfast.

The hotel is conveniently located in the central city but not on a busy road, so quiet. The rooms are a bit worn and plain. The staff really take care of you. Breakfast is included and it is substantial. I told them I'd go for breakfast at 8 am, and they had it ready for me immediately. OK, the coffee is terrible.

Chose this Hotel as it was near to my girlfriends family and was pleasantly surprised by this place. You are going to be hard pushed to find a modern hotel in this area but this had a good sized room with probably the best internet connection of any hotel I have stayed in Thailand. The staff were friendly and at the reception they have a variety of snacks and drinks available 24/7 The little restaurant they had was very good with some very nice dishes. The free breakfast for me consisted of toast and jam with a coffee or two while my girlfriend had the pork and rice bowl x The place is old but in relation to the area it kinda fits right in. Could do with a bit of an upgrade (the TV for one ) TV for me was unwatchable. No satellite or cable just the Thai tv shown on and old set but I had my Macbook, she had the TV for a changex The hotel was not in a bad position, very near the Phaya Thaen Public Park and main roads a short walk away. The hotel had a couple of bicycles for guests to use but unfortunately when we wanted to use them, one had a flat tyre......Just my luck x Overall, for the money! You cant really go too far wrong here. The staff were very good, we even had a complimentary ride to the bus station on departure x Needs a little upgrade but would stay here again and not just for the download speed : ) x

Rocket Festival”
This hotel was excellent in all ways for my visit to Yathoson Rocket Festival. % minute walking to the events and a 5 minute car or motorbike to the rocket launch area. Excellent value for the money. Staff is very limited in English but strive to help. Hotel has a shuttle service and the breakfast is typical buffet style.

Please be more careful in the restaurant. There is a opening on the floor in the restaurant by the kitchen entrance which is not covered is about 5 inches high and about 2 Foot long. On the floor, on the left side as if you were going from restaurant in to the kitchen.. you need to close and seal it. I saw two times rats going in and out. . not good for business outside. The employees just pretend is not a jig deal but Maybe okay in Thailand but not in most of the world. .

Pleasant relaxing stay”
Went there for the 2016 Rocket Festival but a week early due to poor internet information and lack of any updating?? However it turned out to be the relaxing weekend we actually needed. Only complaint was the lack of power points in the room. There was only two and they were single two pin plugs. One was for the TV which meant you had to unplug the TV to use the supplied kettle and the other was behind the bed pillow.....a serious fire hazard in the making! Aside from that it was great, we would go again, in fact we are going this weekend for the actual Rocket Festival!!

The room was large and clean. Aircon was cold and quiet. The bathroom was a bit small, but the rainforest shower head, hand wand, and water pressure were excellent. Recommend staying here for families visiting hospital patients, as both hospitals are nearby Breakfast was good as well.

Room was a good size and the breakfast in the morning was basic but very good. You had a restaurant downstairs that did very good food and at the reception they had various snacks and drinks available 24/7 Location was very good and the staff were excellent. Fantastic value for money xxx

Cleanliness with great location for boon bang fai”
This hotel is near the main road where the Ban fai procession passing by, near Phaya Taen Public park, venue for rocket competition,. Room itself is clean, wide space, well lit. Parking lots are spacious, restaurant for having breakfast on ground floor with nice view.

Typically Yasothon”
First room all the electrics blew when I plugged in my telephone charger so they moved me to another room. At 7.00 pm room 319 started to fill with insects the size of flies. Plus there was another type resembling earwigs. All windows and doors were shut and I sealed the bottom of the door with a towel, but still they came. I was sick at the time and needed to visit a hospital the next day so I never called reception. I killed maybe 200 of these insects during the night. The bed, furniture and shower were otherwise OK. No complaints. The American Breakfast which I had booked for 7.00 came 20 minutes late. Cold plastic processed hot dogs and similar unfresh processed chicken 'ham' was all horrible. A boy from the kitchen who brought it almost threw it on the table without a word and walked off. Extremely rude. I have stayed in Yasothon Hotels for 18 years and they are all bad caterers. Seem to have no thought or care what patrons think. I expect better and will stay there again.

Good Value”
The rooms were large and clean. Great hot water. Good location in the city. Breakfast was a choice of American or Pork Rice Soup. Only drawback was trying to find breakfast service. They were more occupied with eating their own breakfast and chatting amongst themselves.

it's a little off the lanes from the main street, but the staff are very friendly and obliging. speak very little English but try their level best to accommodate.
