Friendly Hotel”

I love their service and staff super good and friendly and the morning breakfast very awesome! I love their breakfast and very delicious. Location very convenience and surrounding many Japanease restaurant and shop. The cons is the hotel abit old but i will come back again!

A great alternative among same level hotels”

* Location: perfect, within 5 mins walk to many attractions of HCMC like walking street or Vincom shopping mall * Staff: polite enough and try to help clients with a smile * Check in/ check out process: good and fast, even they allow to early check in * Room: quite tiny but in good condition with enough equipment for mid-level hotel, water is not complementary but sold at the reasonable price for branded water * Breakfast: simple but fantastic and delicious with a choice of main course of European or Japanese and yogurt and banana

A good place to stay if you like small rooms.”

I like this hotel. It's an apartment building with a lift. This time I checked into a nice quiet room. As usual the place was nice and clean. Lots of shops and food available in the area and a short walk to Vincom shopping center and Nguyen Hue Street. Breakfast is a basic single dish offering with a fruit and drink. Staff can speak English. I'm a return customer, this hotel fulfills my basic requirements.

Trully a good bargain”

We were assigned at room 205.1) The room might have been vacant for quite sometime, the aircond tends to have ice popping out (and with black color ice sometimes). 2) There is NO COMPLIMENTARY water as per listed in agoda for this hotel, you should pay to get it (they put it in the fridge and will charge you accordingly). 3) Short walking distance to Dong Khoi street and Vincom shopping centre. 4) Staff is well conversant in English. IMPORTANT: 1) Get a grab car instead of taxi -at least you can get to the accurate destination than explaining to the taxi where they pretend they know but yet send you to the wrong place. 2) When you are lost, find a nearest hotel (at least 4-5 stars) so that you can ask question in English and that they understand what you are talking about.

Anh Minh is a cosy place”

I had a late check in near midnight and the staff on duty received me with enthusiasm. I like to stay here when I need to be in the Thai Van Lung, Le Thanh Ton area. As usual I had a comfortable night and pleasant chat with the staff. The place is clean as usual, and I get a good vibe being here. I has just one lift that can get quite cramped during peak hours so older folks might find the lower floors a better choice if they want to use the steps.

Fast Internet Service and Well-trained Staff”

I like the location of this hotel. Its near everywhere. The internet is fast. And just like my feedback from my previous review about this hotel, the staffs were well-trained. I will recommend this hotel again.

Excellent Customer Service”

What I love about this hotel is the staffs. The staffs were so courteous and helpful. They treated us in a very special way even though its not a five star hotel. They pampered us from our luggage up until recommending good restaurants. They can speak in English also. The only thing I would like to give notice is the room. The room needs renovation and its kinda old even the bathroom fixtures. Overall, I will recommend this hotel to everyone and I will stay here again. It was a nice experience

Nice and Clean Hotel.”

I stay for business trip. This hotel is nice and clean. Staff can speak English and Japanese as well. The only one you need to careful is the breakfast that is not buffet and the name of food you see in English might not the right one you think Ex. Omelet is two fried egg, Ramen (Japanese Noodle) is a fried noodle.

Nice staff, nice room, breakfast, free wireless.”

Stayed at that location to tour on foot the riverside, and that area. It's a good place to rest with nice clean rooms and many, had hours of fun after 10pm on free wireless in the room connecting to my virtual world. Felt at home because the hotel wasn't too big and felt like a bright clean city apartment I would rent. The guests I met were quiet Japanese guys on golf tours. There was cable TV and the showers had good water flow. Breakfast was a single dish and drink ala carte, but with a local interpretation of foreign dishes, but it was good and tasty; just a right portion for a medium sized appetite. I recommend it for people who need a nice place to stay but spend most if the day out, but would like to have good restaurants within 200m from the hotel and retire to a quiet room with quiet guests stay. The staff are cheerful even working with one another, and it was a nice change from the all serious and formal front at the hotels I usually stay at.

What a smell”

When I entered the room, it was not that bad smell but some strange smell was there in the room. So, I had to open the window to get rid of it, but failed.

Just a short night stay”

Anh Minh Hotel is a bit old, but still clean and comfortable. Location is good, nearby Le Thanh Ton street. As we had a late night flight, and I booked the hotel on 9pm. When we arrived hotel on 1 a.m., the staff seems like they don't have the room type that I booked, but he still manage to give me a room (upgrade without charging). The only thing to complain is the temperature of shower is not consistent.

Good 2 star ”

Price is very reasonable and location is good in Japanese area. Many stores and restaurants around. Room was big but could be easily upgraded with simple re-painting. Otherwise ,very good for the money paid.

Ok place”

The window room was ok, even if only a view of a wall, through a blurred-out windowpane. The windowless room, smokey & claustrophobic with a bathtub shower. To be fair they free-upgraded me to window room as they had booked out the others, but when I was moved to the windowless room it was depressing and unhealthy (smoke smell).

This hotel is in Japanese town in Sai Gon. Have many Japanese restaurants around this hotel. From the hotel to Ben Thanh market around 5 minutes by taxi. The room is not big but reasonable for the price. The staffs are helpful. Breakfast menu is Japanese and Vietnamese foods. If you want a budget hotel for simple needs, this hotel is good choice.

The price cheaper compare between other hotel in this area. I can walk to shopping center, shops,bars etc. Breakfast served from early 5 a.m. but not buffet. Room is ok clean and big enough for 2 people. good choice for this price. Staffs can speak English.

Good hotel with confortable rooms”

everything is ok with this hotel: nice and confortable rooms, good service, good location in district 1. breakfast is ok, i have even a buffet on sunday. i wanted to have a good rest from a precedent trip, and this was perfect.

Nice hotel”

the hotel is good. the room is good and clean, nice selection the cable tv and have lcd tv. staff are very friendly and professional. i highly recommend for the value of money. very close from everything that you need like the city center and restaurants.

good location”

I think the location is very good but hotel look old and Ithink it shoud be cleaned more. If not serious with small room that good choice to stay in that hotel. The hotel staff have good service. Breakfast is too simple I think I will better have breakfast in other place restaurant etc may be more delicious.The area not far from tourist area for example church,post office shopping center can go by walk 10 minitues.

People very nice and very good location”

The hotel is clean with good size rooms. The breakfast is better now they just open a buffet who start at 7 in the morning. From the hotel to downtown Ho Chi Minh its 5 minutes walk and ther is many restaurants all around. You can find any kind of food without half kilometer

Absolutely will go back to stay here”

I forgot my ID at the hotel without knowing. The receptionist was extremely helpful. She called up the airline to look me up but I booked my ticket thru agent so they didn't have any info of me. She called up the immigration office but they couldn't do anything since they only deal with passport, not ID. The receptionist then went to the office nearby where I told her I had an appointment but it was a big building with many offices so it's impossible to know who I was. She then googled the address on my ID. Long story short, after several bridging phone-calls, she finally found me.
