Creative, impressive country resort, comfort and serene amid pure nature”
Good location good view resort next to Mae Mang. Owner is chef, therefore the food at the resort restaurant is superb both taste, quality and decoration with reasonable price. BF is unexpected excellent considering around this rural area at Boklua. Unseen before, self making charcoal toasts with fresh fruit jam, so simply creative and impressive. Well decorated cottages amidst jungle bush. Love the surrounding corridor with cosy seats in every corners. Room is spacious with country designed amenities. Really hidden gem in Boklua.

Slightly Disappointing”
The room was nicely decorated. The environment around the place was so refreshing, full of nature. The food was delicious and we loved the view by the restaurant very much. But it was hard to be impressed and give them good score when the water didn't run all night and the light kept going on and off. We had to go to sleep without shower and in the morning no one even cared to explain and apologize. I mean, the staffs were mostly nice but it was rude to act like nothing happened. Also, since the food was so pricey just like in the city we expected more of a standard for service. Some of the servers however, didn't even bother to smile or provide information when we asked. Overall, it wasn't a bad experience but we're not sure if we want to come back.

I would only recommend this resort as there is little alternative. It is overpriced for old, unsophisticated and fairly shabby rooms, particularly the bathrooms. Having said that it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. A/c was not very effective, maybe because the room was so unnecessarily large and leaky. Shower was quite weak, although hot enough. Views were unimpressive, except for one aspect up the river valley from the restaurant, and is exactly what the name suggests, "Boklua View". The restaurant menu was limited, but breakfast was good. Access to the rooms is not comfortable along uneven and muddy tracks, and a steep roadway, not for the old or slightly infirm. Parking is a muddy patch. The gardens and landscape decoration is well cared for, and lighting is adequate.

Very remote and difficult to get to. Highly rated restaurant I found disappointing. Beautiful gardens in a very hilly setting. Rooms dated.

Good hotel in Central Buklua”
Location is a bit up on the hill with nice view, close to the town with 7-11 located in walking distance. Room is clean with basic amenities. Staff is great with service mind. Food is best. Their restaurant is a must-visit.

Delicious foods, but...”
Not recommend for ones who have less driving experience because the hotel is located at the steep area. I prepared for low pressure shower as I've heard some story about this eco-friendly policy of this place. But what I found was non-pressure shower. Unfortunately, I had got a cold and needed hot shower. I called the staff; the lady said she'll come, but nobody.

Seems there is inadequate staff to make room ready for checkin, room is not clean, found blood and big yellow stain on blanket and quite old.

Breakfast is excellent! Some part is under construction so expect the dust and noise. The room is not clean. The door is broken, need some maintenance job. Staff is not ready when check-in and check-out. I had to wait for > 5 mins to see the staff after ringing the bell 3 times.

A nice view resort but quite old ”
The resort is quite old. No wifi signal in room no.3&4. Shower is pouring slow water. The staff are not that helpful. I think some others new resort in this town have more good view than this one.

Beautiful location. Room is a bit tired, but still pleasant. The breakfast buffet is great. Home made bread, lots of locally grown produce. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Poor customer service, poor breakfast. Location is great, but resort needs extensive renovation. Also, too many drunken Thais at the restaurant, noisy and inconsiderate of other guests.
