Great Hotel with Great Staff”
Hotel was great, we wanted just something to get us through the week and this was perfect. Popcorn nights, full kitchen and very clean rooms everyday!

Clean and tidy, great location”
Clean and tidy room, hot shower and warm heating everyday. Located near the upper West side of Manhattan a short hop on the subway to midtown or a nice walk if the weather is right

We slept well. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Though it is not in the middle of the tourist hot spots, the subway is very nearby. We wanted a budget-priced , safe place to sleep and we were satisfied with our choice.

Holiday”
Staff are gorgeous, couldn’t have been more helpful. Genuinely happy people and definitely enhanced the trip. In truth the rooms looked a bit tattier than in the photos, but it was clean so didn’t matter

That was a good value for money”
But i had a little problem with the smell in the room without the posibilities to open thw window and ventilate properly... A/C works but very loud running it wasn't possible to use it overnight. Everything else was OK.

Convenience & Reasonable”
Reasonable price for everything you need. Neat and Clean bedrooms with a shower and toilet inside room. Was good value for money. It’s New York so it does get a bit noisy during the night but nothing to excessive. It’s 3 blocks from the train station and a block away from Starbucks.

Can't Recommend”
First, the positives of this hotel. The location is great - on the Upper West Side, 2 blocks away from a subway stop at 103rd and a slightly longer walk to the Express stop at 96th. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance, Central Park's not too far away - it's very convenient. Additionally, the staff were very friendly, and there were some nice touches, like free popcorn in the lobby. However, the beds were quite uncomfortable, and the rooms very small. While the rooms have TV, it had free channels over the antenna only - it's been a long time since I've been in a hotel (in the US) that didn't have at least basic cable. Finally, the shared bathrooms were poor - there weren't enough bathrooms for the guests since they were pretty much always busy, and in one of them there was visible rust in the bathtub. Ultimately, I paid just a few dollars shy of $150 for one night in this hotel. I get that New York is expensive, but frankly for that much money I expect more than I got.

Not within expectation ”
I booked a room for a female but ended up it is a bunk bed and I needed to share the room with another person. Probably I had mistaken. Room is really narrow and generally clean. Subway is within few mins distance but it is far from time square. Reached at 2pm but was told I cannot check in though it was only 1 hr away from check in time.

It’s a hostel not a hotel”
At Agoda reservation it’s mentioned that it’s a hostel and the bathrooms are shared. A Albanian very nice receptionist found one room with bathroom for us. Everything we wanted was take a shower and rest. The room door had signals of somebody try to invade the room. We left our suitcase with a code , when we come back to the room , there was another code. The other girl that works there seems to hate her job very much.

Did not meet expectations ”
Pictures are better than what the hotel really is. Rooms are very old, dusty and full of moisture. Carpet is dirty. Central heat may be extremely hot. There is only one small elevator for the whole building. Personnel is mostly gentle and try to overcome the limitations of the place. Location is ok, with easy access to the subway, even though a bit awkward at night.

At our arrival they offered for a couple a single room! The size of the room was 12-15 square meter! When I have asked the room what paid by me, they mentioned that this is that room! I told, a double bed is 180 cm wide whenever it is a "Kingbad", 160 cm whenever it is a "Quinbad", all others are single bed! The bad width which was in the Hotel when we arrived, was 120 cm, single bad, for two person! The first room what the owner offered, was awful, ugly, unacceptable! There was no a glass or fork, spoon etc. There was no a table or chair, etc. We were not able even unpack from our suitcases. There was 4 pcs hanger for two person! there was no cupboard to unpack to our suitcase. The lock of the door was a joke, unacceptable! The air-conditioning was only a ceiling ventilator! The complete room had 1 pc narrow window! I have asked an other room! They told, that they do not have a double room, only from the next morning! I would like to ask some compensation because of a/m!

The Hotel was not efficient at all. First receptionist made a mistake gave us a double double room because that is what I requested . She gave us the key and somebody occupied it already. Good thing the occupants was not there it was embarrassing or dangerous just opening other people rooms. Very Rude staff not helpful at all. I will not recommend this place. No heater during cold days. Carpet was not vacuumed smelly and sticky. Very dissatisfied. They collect the towel and at night when we ask for it its not a available and we are suppose to take a shower that night.
