Мой номер посетило два огромных таракана,под кроватью столетняя пыль,номер старенький.Уборка в номере не делалась.Хозяин добрый,хороший человек как и обслуга.

Not What Was Expected”

Obviously there are reviews of good & bad, and it is each to their own. Our experience was short, as we left and found somewhere else about an hour in... Our driver got lost, so we had a short city tour before hand! Our reception wasn't warm or friendly, and our room was very possibly okay for the 4 nights BUT all of the powerpoints couldn't charge anything which made it difficult to plan anything... There were other things, but I don't want to waste too much time typing them up. I wouldn't recommend it to my friends or come back, but it may be okay for others.

Nice ”

The hotel in itself was very correct and clean room. Good point : we arrived very early (6 am) in the morning when we were supposed to arrive the day before in the evening, and we could have the room anyway for a few hours before check out. It was nice of them to not leave us in the street after the rough night we had.

Good value for money. Would be all 10’s if we didn’t have ants crawling all around our room for our stay. Besides that was a nice bed, hot shower, and friendly helpful staff

Real Vietnam in the heart of Saigon ”

Located on a quiet alley in the heart of Saigon I felt entirely safe and comfortable. All staff speak good English and have local knowledge to share/advise you with. I'm totally in awe of the shower, it's dreamy, soft, waterfall sensation is just what I needed to comfort and relax. The rooms are deceptively large with tv, fridge, aircon, wifi. I wish I could stay longer as it is literally on the doorstep of all the sights and sounds of Saigon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Awesome stay”

The owners are super friendly here and very accommodating with anything you need. As soon as we stepped foot inside they offered us a beer and we had a chat with them. You make your own breakfast in the morning, they have bread, eggs, bananas, croissants, coffee and tea. The location is close to bui vien walking street but in an area that is nice and quiet at night. Would definitely recommend for anyone to stay here. We originally booked 2 nights but ended up staying for 4!

We arrived early in the morning they let us in to the room 7am. Just pass it the main traveler area you can find it very unique space. clean room. good shower. you can use kitchen when ever you want. you can cook your self. We really enjoyed stay in california guest house.

Helpful staff and great budget hotel”

We stayed 4 nights here, this was the best budget hotel we could find in HCM and for the price and location a great deal. We parked our motorbikes out front and every night the staff brought them inside the hotel for safe keeping. We enjoyed our stay.

Great for us, away from the main tourist drag”

A very nice, laid back place but don't expect too much for the cheap price. It's clean and comfortable, air-con, fridge etc works well, rooms are a good size. The do-it-yourself kitchen was very useful for us at breakfast, tho hotel provides bread, jam, eggs and bananas, also tea and coffee. You can buy more of your own food and keep in the kitchen, there are lots of utensils for cooking. Also, access to the washing machine in the kitchen was great, do your own washing any time. Surrounded by lots and lots of very nice street-food. What not to expect- room being cleaned every day, info on tours etc, shampoo/toothbrush etc provided in the room. This is a nice but no frills place and it suited us very well.

GreatValue, spotless room. ”

Title says it all. Great value for HCMC, fantastically clean room and bathroom. The location is good, close to some amazing street food in the evenings and walking distance to lots of bars and restaurants whilst still being really quiet. Highly recommend.

Sorry but no worthy”

Pros: * Staff was very nice and helpful when ask for directions. * Comfy bed. * Good shower. Cons: * Not very clean room. * Cockroach in the room. * Breakfast was included but you have to make it and wash your dirty dishes after use them. Kitchen was dirty , no butter during the 3 days we stayed and saw a little mouse running under the kitchen furniture.

Cheap, clean and comfy”

We really enjoyed our stay at California Guest House. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfy (with aircon and a fridge which isn't advertised on Agoda). The Guest House is located on a back street so it's relatively quiet (apart from a neighbours birds, but quite nice to wake up too), it is about a 10/15min walk to the main backpackers area and restaurants. The facilities were great, really good wifi and a communal kitchen where you are provided eggs, bread, bananas, tea and coffee to make your breakfast. All in all a very pleasant stay.

Home from home”

Everything is just ideal, from the price to location to cheerful, helpful, local knowledgeable staff, to the breakfast, but oh my god the shower is the best ever!! Love it here, will hopefully stay everytime I'm in Saigon

Prettige atmosfeer”

Based in a nice quite area. Small lovely alley. You can make your own breakfast at any time in the kitchen. A little bit basic, but it will do. The manager, miss Thao, speaks well english. Got a big can of water in the kitchen , so you van refill yours. Rooms are cleaned everyday. I really like the atmosphere in the hostel. So relaxed.

Good and the cockroaches appear.. ”

All was going well here until we had cockroaches in our room. One in the first night found on our bed, didn't sleep well. We just thought once off. Until the next night and there was more. Disgusting, rooms had a weird smell on entering I thought nothing of it. Its a pity because otherwise the place is great - good self service brekkie and use of kitchen. Close to places also. They did our laundry free due to issue- Thank you. Our room was in top floor. Hard to get a staff member at times.
