Centre of Chinatown. Close to everything”
Great service. sparkling clean, spartan, simple. close to Citibike stations, subway, great disco, great bars, the best Chinese foot massage, a great diner (Between 2 Bridges...tiny and awesome...!). Take the bridge to Dumbo? 10 minutes. my new fave spot in NYC.

Clean, modern room and bathroom, really helpful staff. Plus you can leave your luggage on the day of check in (as check in is available from 3pm) and on the day you check out (up to 10pm). Strongly recommended

Stayed in a 4-bed coed dorm”
This was exactly what I needed. A clean and comfortable place to sleep and shower. Expensive for a hostel, yes, but not for being right downtown Manhattan. Nice clean bathrooms with soap and shampoo. Streets are busy in the city so bring some earplugs if the noise will bother you. Overall exceeded my expectations as a dorm-style hostel.

IDEAL HOTEL”
Location is great coz the train station is 3 mins. away plus eat shops are either in front or at the side of the hotel. Staffs are accommodating at all times when in your need. Our room is cleaned everyday and the towels are always new. Value for money is excellent.

Well Hidden Gem”
Stayed here for 4 nights and we were very pleased. The room is adequate and it is very clean. Wish there was hot water available for guest and maybe a ledge under the TV to put stuff. Staff are friendly. Definitely a place I would come back again.

Solo traveller on a budget”
Excellent location, incredibly clean. Very comfortable beds. Towels changed every day, bedding every two days. Location very close to subway lines F, B, D, J and bus routes.

Very nice staff”
The girl staff (forgot her name) was very accomodating and helpful. She answers all my questions and requests. The room is clean even the restrooms. Will definitely recommend!

nice new hotel in Chinatown”
A nice base for exploring Chinatown and the Lower East Side. Possibly not good for a young family and definitely not fancy, but it's excellent for those of us who aren't interested in spending a lot of time in our room and are unwilling to pay for fancy. The common area on the 3rd floor is a nice touch.

Almost perfect...”
Clean and serene, modern well-maintained apartment building -- maximum 4 people per room, typically uncrowded (no 'sardines-in-a-can' feeling!). Lots of good daylight. Shared en suite bath affords some measure of privacy (vs. trekking down a hall to the single public bathroom per floor). Quality sheets, towels, pillows! Public lounge on 2 floors, TV with vast array of cable channels , comfortable seating, wifi everywhere. Super convenient to public transportation. Staff totally gracious & accommodating -- everyone from reception to housekeeping and maintenance. You won't be disappointed!

Fantastic Location”
Stayed here for 4 nights. Loved that there are many places for food here. Also there's a laundry across the road...makes it easier to do ypur laundry if you need to. Only thing is maybe make hot water available for guests. Would love to come back again.

This property is clean, well designed somewhat small rooms, great water pressure, large flat screens, clean linens. I DO recommend Canal Loft Hotel.

Great location, awesome staff”
I stayed at Canal Loft for 2 weeks. The location was great, not far from the Brooklyn Bridge and just a few subway stops from the heart of Manhattan. All that a traveller might need is nearby (mini-market, launderette, cafés and bars, subway station) and I loved being near the park. Big shout out to Moldir and Sophie, who were always very helpful and whose courtesy and professionalism made me feel at home during my stay at Canal Loft.

Basic but good value”
The location is good with Chinatown nearby, many good Asian food and a laundromat opposite which is important for Long haul travellers. The things in hotel is quite basic, provide only shampoo and body wash in the room toilet. There’s a TV in the lounge but unable to watch without remote control. Most of the receptionist are friendly except for one who’ eyes is always fixated to her screen. Still a value for money place to stay.

Ok hostel, good location”
Hostel is basic, with shared facilities being basically spaces with tables and chairs. If you’re looking for a bed to sleep in only, its a good place Location wise for the price was great. In chinatown so not so interesting for me, but walking distance (15mins) from NYC must eats (katz, russ and daughters, clinton st)

Front desk staff can be more engaging + microwave in lounge”
I like every thing about the place. Only if 1) Reception staff can a bit more engaging and lively 2) A microwave in the lounge areas

Nice and affordable hotel in New York”
The room and bathroom was clean. Location also nice, close to subway station and many good restaurant. The reception guy didn’t feel too friendly.. need to smile more, he will look more handsome ; )

Big Bed!”
really big, nice comfortable bed. clean room with basic facilities. good location in Lower Manhattan. if you fancy just walking around a lot, can walk to Brooklyn Bridge even all the way to 911 memorial. most of all, affordable.
