Exquisite and husband’s fav hotel”

We love our huge Metropolitan room. I am writing this from the comfiest bed we stayed in thus far in Thailand. The pool is natural and gorgeous and the free ice water is a great touch. Actually, there are great touches all over the place. Boris checked us in before noon (wow), walked us to our room like VIP’s and made sure we found nespresso, yoga mats and other amenities just fine. He let us know we could have late check out and then stay at the hotel til our flight in evening. We walked over in 4 minutes to the moon bar at banyan tree at sunset and when we came back the staff had given us lovely prosseco and sweets for our special no-kid anniversary stay. They’re flexible, generous and kind here and seem eager to do a wonderful job. Fruit is constantly delivered to the room and they knock and ask if you’d like even more.. The tv is massive, the pillows are comfy and the tub and shower are remarkable. You can’t go wrong! Couple items: the main window in our room is dirty which makes it hard to take nice pics of the view. Also it’s a bit removed and hard to walk to a choice of reasonable food places or restaurants (we had come from staying in dirty Khao San road which I don’t recommend, but we had food options galore there). Across the street is an adorable “craft room” with all types of beers and some yummy food and nice folks. All in all, probably the best hotel we had the pleasure of enjoying in Thailand.

Great overall experience”

Clean and quiet, excellent breakfast and great facilities. The staff were very professional and friendly. It was my partner's birthday and the hotel surprised him with a complementary cake. A wonderful stay - can't fault it.

The full Como experience all without leaving the hotel grounds- fantastic service, good yoga classes, Swimming pool, quality massage, facials and yummy, award winning food. Perfect for a weekend getaway... will definitely be back!

Always a pleasure of staying here”

It has been my 3rd time this year visiting BKK and staying at Como Metropolitan. Everything is wonderful as usual, including friendliness of staff at front desk, Glow restaurant, pool, spa, etc. Though someone may complain that the location is a bit far from BTS, I specially like this as I enjoy the 15 min walk to BTS and pass by the local food stalls. Hotel facilities are maintained in good condition, and it is no doubt that I would stay here again when I visit BKK next time.

We have received nothing but excellent service and assistance from all staff. Food is excellent. Awesome gym facilities and pool as rea. Not too noisy. Not a lot of children which is great. If you have to stay in Bangkok then this is the number one choice

Beautiful hotel”

I used to visit this hotel for business, now when I come to Bangkok for a holiday, I love to stay here. It has very well kept rooms, and great breakfasts, good food is a key theme here. Home to the famous Nahm restaurant as well as having a good hotel bar. This place is well worth considering on your next stay.

Excellent Stay - COMO never disappoints”

We are big fans of COMO hotels and have high expectations every time we stay at one - we were not disappointed at The Metropolitan COMO. Service was top notch from all staff & we were made to feel very welcome from the manager Rohan Chandra who always took the time to check in and chat with guests. The pool is lovely, food at breakfast and Nahm was top notch, spa was fab - can’t ask for more really. The only minor minus is that it is not next door to a BTS station but free shuttles are provided every hour and the MTR is an easy 5 mins walk away. Will definitely stay again. 1) 10-15 mins walk from Saladeng BTS station but shuttle bus service per hour was provided by the hotel. 2) The Metropolitan room I booked was clean, size ok & quiet. 3) Overall the staff is helpful and polite especially the lobby staff, but the room service staff may need to improve as they may forget to fill the shower gel etc.

Most staff are very friendly. Some staff at breakfast could be more smiling! Lighting in room is not ideal Amenities sherbet at poolside is great but should not use a pointed / sharp wooden stick, it is very dangerous especially for kids. These sticks are not meant for this. Thanks for a great stay.

Spacious room, Excellent staff, Good facilities”

I used to stay in another hotel nearby, but its pool is recently under renovation and therefore I chose Como Metropolitan this time. Everything is much more than I expected. Excellent and professional staff. Spacious room and hearty room services. The pool is great and worth spending a long time there. I will definitely choose Como Metropolitan when I go to BKK next time.

Outstanding ”

From the moment we arrived, the staff from Rohan the manager down were fantastic. This is how all hotels should be. We travel constantly and this is for me the best. I have been traveling to Bangkok and the rest of Thailand regularly for 26 years and was amazed by the metropolitan! I have been using the same hotels in sathorn for a long time and fancied a change . Will definitely be staying here from now onwards. Special mention for Jack at the pool area ( I knew him from a previous hotel) , who provided great friendly efficient service. Had dinner at nahm in the hotel and this was a truly memorable meal. Fantastic value suite as well . Don't stay anywhere else for a 5 star experience.

Best breakfast I have eaten - I travel around the globe and at least twice a month for my job. Stayed in lots of 5 star hotel but none beats the breakfast in metropolitan. And the staff address you by name...

Feels like home ”

Just a great hotel in the heart of BKK. The hotel is inspiring design wise still and the staff are super friendly always acknowledging you and welcoming you. The Metropolitan room was large and super comfortable bed and accessories. Definitely a go back to place

The best all round Bangkok hotel in this price range, all things considered!”

The location is as convenient as many other establishments, but Metropolitan make it up to you as guest in spades, by being serene, clean and with staff all the way up to GM being very friendly, approachable and helpful. They really do this as one team to make sure guest experience is optimal! Great job guys!! We will be seeing you all again soon.

I always stay at the Metropolitan when I am in Bangkok and once again, I was very happy with my choice. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the room nice, simple, quiet, the bed very comfortable. The buffet breakfast offers some healthy options really enjoyable. Overall a very relaxing stay. Looking forward to the next one already.

I always stay at Metropolitan by COMO whenever I go to Bangkok and I always feel very welcome and going back home. The staff is very friendly and professional, the facilities very good (the jacuzzi was not working this time - they were doing some work), the food amazing!

A serene, expertly run gem of a hotel”

Set back from the choking traffic of Sathorn Rd, this hotel is a salubrious oasis of calm and elegance. Next door, the (overrated) Banyan Tree hotel offers a fantastically overpriced roof-top bar which nonetheless should be experienced at least once, and the embassy district nearby contains a wealth of excellent dining and spa options. The Nahm restaurant is every bit as good as the reviews say. However, if you are looking to book a cheaper option and are not part of a group, make sure it is not an adjoining room - this is the second time I have been caught out by one of these and had to request a move. Although the doors are locked, they are thin and offer no soundproofing whatsoever.

Beautiful and comfortable hotel”

The hotel is lovely and the staff are very helpful. The restaurant Nahm is exceptional and the room service food is also excellent. The free yoga classes and beautiful pool and spa make the hotel a great value choice, and it is reasonably convenient to the BTS station.
