Front desk staff is not well trained”

I asked the staff for a spare keycard.. she told me she cant because its the policy. I explained to her my reason. Rather go ask the mgr she refused. I have to raised my concerned to mgr to get my second key. The staff is not trained to handle situation professionally.

Great Breakfast and Great Service ”

Great service from Phom the front counter who helped me with my tour booking. So helpful and i would recommend everyone who's in Can tho to stay here. Location is also great and not far from Vincom shopping mall that has great Korean BBQ. One thing i was annoyed was one day I asked for condense milk and was given without charge but the next day i requested this time i were going to charge me.... even when i asked for a table spoon of condense milk i was asked to pay...that was a little annoying because in every hotel its usually include with breakfast.

The hotel located central of Can Tho, food stall within walking distance. Green Cafe just 100m away, serving good coffee and nice environment. KTV and Disco just opp... never boring. Safe hotel to stay

Staff made 2 star service”

Nice hotel, reasonable price, good location, clean. However, the front desk staff needs more trained to be flexible with the guest's need. We had a workshop held at the hotel. The program run a bit late, and we request for a late check out ( by 1 pm) for lunch (at the hotel restaurant). The front desk staff did not agree, although a lot of rooms available! Even 5 stars hotel, just 1 hour late check out is usually allowable :)

A quick getaway”

This is a nice hotel, practical location. They have good facilities on site. The bed was firm and provided a great night's sleep. The staff are friendly and speak English well. I recommend for anyone looking for an inexpensive but nice stay in Can Tho.

Needs some improvement in some areas”

This hotel is not too bad except for the following 1. No one welcomed us or helped us carry our bags into the foyer 2. Were just given our keys to room no help with bags and no instructions about room equipment lights, A/C not good as took a while to work out 3 Breakfast reasonable but most of it was cold, especially tea and coffee 4. Work within hotel very bad JACKHAMMERS which started at 7.00am and went for most of the day 5. Very noisy music and singing from restaurant next door 6. Was no bar in the pool and gym area which according to the booking was supposed to be there Would not really consider going back unless things were better especially the lack lustre attitude of staff, didn't seem like they wanted to be there

No ambiance/atmosphere”

Do you know these big conference hotels... when no conferences are taking place...? - yep, they're like deserts. That's what Fortuneland was like for the few days, I stayed there. Furthermore the hotel was undergoing some rebuilding (a new wing being added on?) so some construction noise. And judging from the speed and organization of the construction workers this project will run well into 2017... Staff generally okay, but with bad-attitude untrained seeds in between. Makes we wonder what the service will be like when (/if ever) the hotel is fully occupied... Breakfast not very impressive. Rooms on the other hand were spacious and very good, albeit also here some minuses, tv and internet being down from time to time. The general excellent standard of the rooms just about makes it value for money, but not more than that.

the hotel is in the center of the city, Had a pleasant stay at Iris Hotel Can Tho. Room booked is spacious and nice.Staff is friendly. Had a surprise from the hotel, the hotel staff prepared gave me a spa voucher for free during our stay at the hotel, nice reception from them! Food served during the breakfast was nice and delicious too. Highly recommend for this hotel.

Clean comfortable hotel”

It is the beat hotel for our trip purpose which is fo the tennis tournament in can tho sport complex. It is only 5 min away of walking. Hotel is very clean, comfortable and value for money. Breakfast is good with varieties of choices. Room is big. Staff are friendly

The hotel is very good. Big and clean room. Staff are trying their best to assist us with the limited english understanding. Room are big and comfortable also very clean. There are alot of food outlet around the hotel.

There was a cleaner who cleaned the Pool while we swam. He was nice but if he cleaned it when nobody there, it would be great. Don't shout at him, pls, just change your clean Pool time. Thanks very much !

I didn't know how to go to the market on the river but the hotel employer explained that kindly. I think this hotel' s quality is so high but cheap!! So cool!! I wanna stay there when I go to Can Tho again!

Unbelievable value for your money”

We only staid in Can Tho as it was on our groups journey to the Cambodian border. It is certainly not a tourist "hot-spot" but if you do find yourself visiting this town this is the place to stay. I normally choose smaller "boutique" hotels but since I couldn't locate any we opted for standard business-class accommodation. This is a new fully serviced hotel and I guess they are discounting heavily to attract business. It is a modern well-equipped clean hotel that cost less then the tax on some places we stayed. The only let-down was the breakfast that was mediocre against the high-standards of the rest of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel but staff didnt seem very happy”

Pros: New building, plenty of toiletries, great price, nice view from the pool, flat screen tv with English channels, close to coffee shops and local restaurants with ok food, taxi ride to the pier is about $3 Cons: Staff didn't seem very friendly. we traveled a lot around vietnam and stayed at cheaper places with better customer service, this is a 4* hotel so I was expecting more from the staff. I one thing that bothered me the most is that when we arrived, we were stopped by a lady at the hotel door, she try t sell us some tours.Then we went out to eat and the same lady would followed us trying to sell us a tour. When we asked one of the employees what options we had to take a tour around the river, he said oh my sister can help you out(he referred to the same lady that was following us a few days) and said, we liked to put together our own tours, he said that there was no way to do it ourselves that we had to do it with his sister.We asked other ppl aound town and guess what? there is public transportation to take you around the floating market and u do not have to do it with his sister...That shouldn't happen at any 4* hotel. They should train the employees to keep family and business separate. Other than that this hotel was decent for the price but do not expect friendly employees, they help you with what u need but they are all so serious. I would have given them a 5* review if there would have been friendly and not being so pushed from one of the employees to buy the sister's tour.

Good stay, breakfast needs a bit of work”

Good stay. The staff were friendly and a good laugh. The hotel is close to the market and where you go to jump on a private boat to go to the floating market and close to a number of restaurants (avoid 'Ah-Ca' restaurant just done the road. It looks like the nicest place around but the food is plain average). Breaky could do with some work to improve but other than that a good stay. The staff were great with local info and ringing and booking things for us.
