The location is perfect good value of money. The staff Kate and owner Marlon were very friendly and kind. Only it doesn’t have elevator but wasn’t a big issue.t

Perfect for 1 night”
The Freedom is a clean, safe, affordable accommodation in the heart of Patong, 3 minutes from Bangla, but quiet. Friendly and helpful front desk, decent sized rooms with refrigerator, accessible flat screen TV, hot water kettle and split type aircon. I would give 5 stars if they weren't cheating. First night is great. Fresh bed, full range of freebies. But after that it gets disappointing. They don't change the bedsheets, they don't refill coffee or toothbrush or toilet paper. It's unfair in my opinion because I pay the same for my second night, so I should get the same, at least a fresh bed.

Best for solo travellers ”
Solo travelers always look for budget hotels with the best options. And I think they check all the points. It's near the beach and Bangla road, like 2 min walking distance. The hotel room was clean and staffs were really friendly.

OK for one night stay only. They don't have lift for upper floors. We check in around 9pm but no body was their. Only message and key on reception. AC was not cooling properly but they came after we call them and fix it. Even to locate the place is very difficult.

Bad hotel. It is VERY badly managed”
This hotel was VERY BAD. 1) The room safe was a portable safe, and it was NOT attached to the wall. Anybody can easily steal the whole safe with your things inside it, and walk away. There is usually nobody at the reception, so nobody will see a thief steal the safe. 2) The reception is supposed to be open from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM, but it is often closed even during this time. There is often nobody at the Reception during reception time. 3) When I arrived to check in, the reception was closed. They put my room key on the door of the Reception with a note for me. Anybody can easily get or steal the key. 4) There is no phone number to call, so if you get locked out of your room at night, there is no way to enter your room. No phone number is given on the reception door. 5) There are BIG cockroaches in the room. This is a BAD, and TERRIBLY MANAGED hotel. It would be much better if they managed it better. Do NOT go here.

The room that we booked is with city view, unfortunately the view was wall of another shoplot. We could hear next door people bathing sound. Room enviroment- very basic Privacy - you could hear if people talk infront the room. Value for location.

Great short-term stay”
Excellent location. Just around 150 meters from the Bangla street and Patong beach. The staff was very communicative on Agoda messaging. I checked in after 3pm and checked out before 8am. So, the check in and out was self and it was so convenient. However, the bathroom roof had mold stains. And soap shampoo was very basic. It's okay for a night or two considering the price point and location. The smart tv was a plus for my kid to watch cartoons online.

Great Value and Location ”
I stayed in a balcony room. Compact yet very comfortable room. 100m from both beach and Bangla road. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Worst hotel in Phuket ”
The room wasn't provided as promised. Air conditioner takes 2-3 hour to cool down the room. They were not professional at all. I won't recommend this place.

Freedom hotel is very bad please don't stay... stairs till 3rd floor... no staff at evening to morning... no cleaning.... small rooms... small basin..
