Great Accommodation, Staff and Location”
I stayed 4 nights at the Geraldton Backpackers in a 6 bed male dorm. I was checked in by Ramona, who was very friendly and welcoming, also met her husband as well. Check-in process was very easy and efficient. Location is central, right along the main street, very convenient to the waterfront, beach, shops, cafes, restaurants, and great for walking and exploring Geraldton which is beautiful regional city. The Geraldton Backpackers was very clean, neat and tidy, with generous kitchen facilities and storage lockers, and seating areas (both indoors and outdoors), plus two communal TVs, a pool table, reading areas and upstairs balcony chairs and tables. Beautiful art works were featured within the building, showcasing some of the local tourist attractions. During my stay, also had the pleasure to meet and chat with Pippa, the Manager of Geraldton Backpackers, on several occasions. She was welcoming, professional, friendly and very engaging, providing ideas for what I could do during my stay in Geraldton. She also provided her recollection of her experience on a scenic flight to the Abrolhos Islands (which I was lucky enough to take part in, together with snorkelling amd swimming), and is a wealth of knowledge and keen to provide travellers and visitors with ideas/suggestions to help them get the most of their stay in Geraldton. The male shared bathroom/showers were very clean, tidy and well maintained, and spacious as well. Overall, a wonderful stay, thank you Pippa, and should my future travels take me back to Geraldton, I'll be sure to stay with Geraldton Backpackers!

Place to stay for a Night ”
Just need a bed for the night for the shipwreck scenic flight tour of the Abrolhos Island the next morning. And the Geraldton Backpackers was perfect cheap clean rooms and facilities. Recommended.

Nice alternative to motels”
Being middle aged, normally wouldn't consider backpackers, but with a lack of international travellers and therefore few backpackers, this was a nice alternative to a motel for us. Well located in centre of town we took a double room with shared bathroom - facilities were spotless and was nice to have access to a kitchen and courtyard out the back to eat our meal. Was quiet and had a good night sleep. Would certainly recommend.

Always relaxing”
I cannot fault this backpackers for cleanliness, location, facilities and friendliness. I always book a single room which has French doors to the balcony which has ocean views, a tv, fridge, kettle with complimentary milk, water, tea, coffee. This is more like a boutique hotel than your usual backpackers. Centrally located on the main thoroughfare with easy access to all the local facilities and attractions, the Heritage building is roomy with a beautiful modern kitchen and two large communal rooms as well as a large alfresco area. I cannot fault this place.

the food you bring to cook have to keep yourself ,if not ppl will take without inform. besides, the view are good room also not bad, bathroom very clean and got privacy. is a good place to stay a night.

Delightful beachside accom”
Felt much more like a lovely homely b&b than a backpackers so don't let the name put you off. Tastefully renovated keeping its historic charm. Takes my vote for best shared bathroom too...with sea views!

Backpacker? More like a boutique hotel”
This recently renovated backpacker will surpass all your expectations of backpacker accommodation. It is a two storey heritage building with two street frontages - the marina and the Main Street. I had a single room with French doors leading to a veranda balcony with ocean views. Everything is new and sparkling clean, from the crisp white sheets to the super comfortable mattress. It had a flatscreen television in the room! The communal areas like the kitchen are fully equipped with coffee machine, teapots, complimentary spices, and fresh bread daily. There are two large comfortable lounges, both with tv and one has a pool table. The outside area are vine covered with tables. There is ample privacy and space throughout the building, with the wide verandas furnished with comfortable cane chairs and lounges. The staff are friendly and welcoming. What more can I say. It is just a pity there are no photographs on the webpage. Without doubt this is the best Backpackers I have stayed in.

여성도미토리 예약했는데 싱글룸으로 업그레이드 해주셔서 티비도 있고 너무나 좋았어요. 주차장도 넓고 시설 좋고, 방도 너무 깨끗하고, 화장실도 깨끗하고 따뜻한 물도 잘나오고, 키친도 너무 깨끗하고, 조식으로 빵도 주고, 캡슐커피까지 정말 최고의 호스텔! 위치는 바로 앞에 너무 예쁜 해변이 있고, 주변에 쇼핑할 수 있는 곳들도 많아요. 휴게실에서 포켓볼도 칠 수 있는거 같은데 밤늦게 도착해서 이용 못해서 아쉬웠어요. 장기투숙하고 싶은 최고의 호스텔!

スタッフの方の対応がとても丁寧でいて尚且つフレンドリー！ 色々と丁寧に教えてくださりました！ チェックインの際、風も通って気持ちがいいので(又カップルはこちら側に案内することが多いとのこと)バルコニー付きのお部屋を用意してくれたとの事でしたが、バルコニー側の通りにあるBARで音楽を大音量で演奏していると教えてくださり、もしそれがうるさくて、不愉快だったらすぐに言ってくれれば違う部屋に変えるからね、と笑顔でいってくれました😌有り難かったです。 でも、音楽もうるさすぎることはなく、むしろ心地よいバックミュージックになっていました😌窓と部屋の扉をあけると風がぬけてとても涼しかったです。 朝も、食パンが置いてあり自由に食べていいとのことでした。ジャムやマーガリン等付けるものも色々ありました。 あとは、パッションフルーツもフリーで食べ放題！！美味しかったです！！ 宿の前には、海も広がっていて散歩道もあります。 気持ちがいいです。 全体的に最高な宿です！！ この街もゆっくり時間が流れる感じで素敵です！！ 共有のシャワー室等も、鍵付きで安心して使用できました。 また、共有キッチンも生活に保たれていて、キッチン用具も綺麗なまま種類も豊富に揃っているので困ることなく好きなように調理できました。
