The beautiful nature resirt”
Breakfast was healthy We miss the resort already
Good, will come again!
A jewel of relaxing tropical green”
I had a very good time at Khemapira and my hosts have been great! I was the only host at the time (too bad for such a nice place!) and I was very well cared for. The place is a jewel of tropical green, it smells nature, forests and flowers. You drink the coffee from their own garden. I would advise to come with a scooter or a car, or to check if you could rent one at least once in a while when you are there to move around. You can visit a geyser, water fall, enjoy another café terrace along the road, but don't miss on enjoying Khemapira Café terrace, too! Very nice! If you are particularly sensitive to noise, keep in mind that the main road is at the bottom of the place (I am sensitive to noise and had ear plugs, helpful at least in the morning, but I could sleep a lot (even in day time) and it went ok). Conclusion: stop by and enjoy!
Special mountain stay with amazing staff ”
We booked one night stay there during our one week stay in Chiang mai, the location is very far from Chiang Mai city but we didn't regret making our way there and had a nice and relaxing time there, and we are particularly impressed by the owner's hospitality. The owner not only helped us arrange transportation to the nearby hot spring and also helped us book the bus tickets back to chiang mai, he even gave us a nice surprise. In the evening after we are back from hot spring, he waited for us and prepared a paper lantern for my husband's 30th birthday! We wrote down the wishes and sent it to the sky. It was so quiet and peaceful and we absolutely loved and enjoyed it! The owner also gave us little romantic candle with flowers to make the evening even more memorable.
Fantastic and relaxing stay”
The owner is fantastic, He is very nice and accomodating. The location is a bit remote from Chiang Mai so needs a bit of planning for the next day but is well worth it. The owner's wife cooks amazing Thai food, the estate is beautiful and very relaxing. The owner also makes great coffee and cake.
So Relaxing ”
It is quite remote, so better rent a car to be able to visit attractions. However, if you don't have a car, the owner arranges for you the transportation. We stayed two nights. Setting was perfect for a quiet and pretty retreat, with only nature around you. Rooms are clean and cute. Each one is isolated from the other. Great service and great value for money.
Hidden piece of gem”
I spent a night there, it was amazing. You can't ask for more with this price.
Quietness from Mountain area”
This resort is located in the northern mountain area, near a national park, where can take hot spring bath. It was a wonderful experiment. Not far from Mae Tang Elepant Park. Staffs are so nice, feel like in home. QUite and relaxing place.
Sweet home in the wood”
The resort was easy to find by Google map. The staffs (also owners) were very helpful. The house and the entire resort were well decorated. We were there in the winter. For us, it's extremely cold. So no need to ask for any air conditioner but more blankets. The resort is near many good travel places. It's good to have a car or a motorbike to explore around.
memorable stays ”
During our two days stay in Khemapira, we could feel the kindness and goodwill every moment. The owner Duang was very helpful on every aspects and his happiness brought us good mood too. Duang's wife prepared wonderful meals and coffee for us. I already begin to miss the coffee now. The hotel is built in a valley, where people can climbed the back mountain or enjoy the silent little gardens there. I remembered that the night we were enjoying the fantastic starry sky, Duang told us that Khemapira means peaceful place, which i think perfectly fit this place.
Love this natural resort”
I love this hotel's room and breakfast. the owner and his staff provide the good service for all customers.
Peaceful and relaxing”
It was a wonderful experience for me. The resort is outside the city up the hill.(along route 1095) The breakfast was nice and healthy. My room was on the slope of the hill. Have to walk up and down the hill.(lots of exercise) The coffee house is at the bottom of the hill, along the room side. They serve coffee, tea and brownie.(own coffee & tea plantation) The temperature is low at night when I stay.(need to check before arrival) There are some temple and hot spring around the resort. You can request the resort owner to help you rent a motor bike to go the surrounding sightseeing place. You also can ask the resort owner to help book a private tour to the tourist attraction.(very expensive if you are a solo traveller) The vehicle rent cost about 2000bahts for one day, exclude petrol and entrance fee. (You can ask for package price) There are others activities like bird watching, have to check with resort owner. Lastly not forgetting there is Wi-Fi so you access to internet.
Unforgettable expereince ”
My husband and I did a 4 week trip around Thailand and our time at Khemapira Beds & Breakfast was by far our most memorable experience. Apichai the guest house owner was one of the friendliest people we've ever met. As soon as you enter through the gates of the hotel the beauty of the landscape and bungalows takes your breath away. Especially if coming from the city, it is a much welcome escape. You also aren't confined to your bungalows during your stay as there are plenty of places on the property to walk around and find your private space. My husband and I went in December at the peak of tourist season, and although there were several people there throughout our 5 day stay (we extended our stay) we felt many times as if we were the only ones there. There are also national parks in the area, all with beautiful views, and a few where you can see geysers and swim in natural hot springs. The hotel offers motorbike rental for those who are interested, among other things such as massage sessions and the like. All you have to do is ask Apichai and he will do everything he can to fulfill your wish. My husband and I are also interested in herbs and gardening. Apichai is well versed in that area and more than willing to answer any questions you may have about Thai herbs, food, or culture. We learned so much during our stay there. Not to mention the food prepared by his wife was excellent! You really felt like you were a guest in their home, not a visitor from miles away. I really can't say enough good things about this hotel and our experience there. We definitely want to go back and would recommend it for any traveler in the Chiang Mai area.
Excellent for great relaxation with superb service”
Nice environment. Good carefulness from the owner.”
Very good. Got the impressed and warm welcome from the owner. If there is a chance, I will come back there again for sure!!
The owners are some of the nicest people I have ever met. We booked for one day and the fan belt broke about 2Km from the hotel. The owner drove the 25km to town to find someone willing to replace it on a Sunday (at no charge). We were scared of the lack of air conditioning but there was no need it was cool enough that we only used a fan part of the day. The place if beautiful, the owners incredibly nice, and the coffee (grown locally) fantastic. As good as I have had anywhere in the world, and for Thailand that is saying a lot. We will definitely go back.
Excellent Resort and excellent taste of Koffee/Tea”
This is one of place exactly can call resort. Although just besides the road but it locate on the heel which can make you feel you are stay on the mountain. Weather in day time nice and night time it is 8-10 Degree C which very good for people from City who looks for cool weather. Food and service also excellent. But most important thing make our family impress with this place is Koffee and tea.
