Great deal place”
Much better price than anything else I could find, convenient location with lots of good food right outside. Sure it ain't a five star suite, but I had a comfy bed, and a functioning bathroom, it wasn't too cold and there were no spiders. That's all I need to be ha happy traveler. And the view from the roof is fantastic!

Location and price stood out for me that was amazing, the only thing I had a major problem with was how dirty the bathrooms were and no elevator. I would give this stuff a 5-star rating they were very nice polite and clean the rooms whenever you request it. Being a New Yorker myself I will give this overall rating / 3.5 because although the bathrooms were not in the best condition the rest of the hotel was pretty much like an apartment and you're absolutely had privacy.

A deal in NYC is no deal ”
Lol it was a deal. Narrow hallways with stains. Crooked steep staircase’s that give you the illusion the building was moving. A tiny entrance to your room with a metal key to enter with. Cigarette burn holes in the comforter, used sheets with crumbs. Black mold behind the toilet. No windows or ac. Wall mounted fan that doesn’t work but the end stand fan barely does. Besides the walls being thin, there were stains all over it. Crooked pictures... overall like some kind of Willy Wonka b.s going on. But its a good deal. We checked for bugs... nothing. But still slept on top of the stained up towels given, in a fetal position. Lol

You get what you pay for.”
For Manhattan. That price is hard to beat. If you have high tolerance and noise ear buds plus mask for your eyes, you'll be more then fine and location is perfect. Cleanliens, It is not like bedsheets are not washed, they are. They just didn't tr, to remove hard stains, plus dust cleaning probably never happened. But then again, staff was always helpful and location was just perfect in every way

so bad i checked out early”
i know it is cheap for Manhattan but there is still no reason for the bathrooms to be as dirty as they were. people were constantly yelling and turning my door handle and the bed wasn't clean. we booked 2 nights but left after the first. i suppose if i had no place else to go but i didn't feel safe here health wise and well being.

Honestly is not confortable it’s just a littler room whit a bed and a small table. But in an emergency o need ASAP an a cheep places then you can stay. Just be ready it’s not an 5 start lol.

we had a rat in a room”
I travel a lot and I have very low standers and I can sleep almost anywhere. So I didn't have any hight expectations. It was very loud at 3 am ( it felt like people were just in our room). The price was great and location was pretty good. It was derty but I would still stay another time here up untill we saw a rat that ate new bag of candy from my suitcase. So after that I will not ever stay here

The room is very small for two person. The bed is old and more a guest bed. It was very loud. The AC for the complete floor is behind this room and all the time if shut on was a very loud sound. Pro: the room is with the own bathroom

Over Hall a Rubbish Hotel + Hostel”
This hotel is very out dated it needs a complete over hall rooms are very small and that was a single The hotel was not for and will not be returning in the near future and there are 4 steep steps to overcome no good for disable people looking at a cheap hotel to book don't bother with this one

Cheapest hotel in New York”
This hotel resembles a slightly cheerful prison. The staff was fine, the room was cleaned about a throughly as pig in shit. Whoever cleaned the room dropped the toilet paper on the floor while cleaning and instead of replacing it, they just put it, wet side up, on the back of the toilet. There were mop streaks all over the linoleum floor that looked like they were mopping with mud instead of soapy water. The bed had a blanket that more resembled packing material then fabric, it was also like sleeping on plywood (which I kinda liked). The mattress (only, not box spring) had a bedbug cover on it, as well as a few drops of blood. There are exactly two reasons to stay here, the location, and to tell everyone that you stayed in the cheapest hotel in Manhattan...

It's a fine place to stay. People should read reviews to know that this is not a hotel, but more of a hostel with individual cabins.

I checked in smoothly at lunch time, but when I got back from dinner, the front desk insisted that I move to another room claiming that I have been there for over 21 days, which is totally not the case. That was a guy with short brown curly hair, medium built. He was loud and rude. Then I felt severe discomfort on my back. I had to go to my room and rest for more than an hour to go back to the frontdesk, and told him that everyone want peace, and told him that I felt severe discomfort on my back. Then he simply said the system told him that I should be in another room. This is ridiculous! The system did not say so when I checked in. And the guy who checked me in was ok. I kindly offered to give him a uplifting spiritual book for free. He refused. So I had to emphasize that I want peace. He simply kept quiet without even making an apology or doing anything, with a very comfortable, relaxed pose. I had to go back to my room to rest, unable to sleep well that night.

It’s safe and convenient. If all you’re looking for is a place to sleep, it can offer you that. And that there is no elevator and no staff willing to help with luggage, is unfortunate. I remember people having better manners when you give them your business

absolutely no sound proof”
Sound proof is virtually non-existent. I keep my door closed all the time, but in the morning I could hear people chatting 50 feet away in the corridor. I also heard intimate couple chitchat a few rooms away.

Great location, be prepared to carry your bags up the floor(s) as there is no lift. Cleanliness is poor and common bathroom was very dirty.
