I almost don't want to write a review because I want this place to stay a secret so I can return to it as it is now. It is lovely and peaceful and the people who live there and take care of you are precious. The food is amazing and I will be back again. 100% we love you

Tough to get to, but worth the effort. Modest accommodations, hard bed, cold shower- and the best staff/ food/ cocktails. We miss peace paradise and will definitely return.

It has been the best hostel I’ve ever been. If you’re looking for peaceful and relaxing place, go for it. Food is amazing, and really cheap. The owner is so funny, helpful,... he gave to me a free mango lizzie. You can feel how he likes his place. He makes a fire every night. You can use kayaks for free, and he would bring you for a swim during the night if you fancy it. Thanks for everything I’ll be back for sure!!

This is a place to retreat from the world. Relax with amazing views, food and people. Basic living but amazing quality of life. If you are on Ko Pu/Jum then make sure you eat here too! Walk up the beach for sunset and come back for an evening with two of the best bartenders Thailand can offer I will be back soonest!

Neither peace nor paradise to be had. ”

Loud Reggae music all day until 11.20pm Unsafe steps. Outlook of rubbish. No basin in bathroom so had to spit into the toilet when cleaning my teeth. Restaurant quite good. Our laundry was dried in the dining room. Left after one night.

Loved our stay here”

My bf and I had a nice, clean bungalow with a fan at peace paradise. Loved the proximity to the beach and the beach itself! It was so relaxing and quiet there... just what we wanted (go to the south end of the island if you want a livelier Koh Jum experience). The food at the restaurant was delicious. People staying at other resorts were coming over consistently because it’s the best food in the area. I have to mention the friendliness of Yai and her husband. They were extremely helpful throughout our stay—they even organized our trip back to mainland and on to Khao Sok National Park. They quoted us a great price and it ended up being even less than that! Really incredible people with kind hearts. Thanks for everything.

The new Peace Paradise is at the opposite end of the North Beach than where the old one was, so some maps are wrong. You can reach the place via a dirt road, muddy after the train or longtail boat. No sink, no hot water, no worries. We rented the twin room at the beach room. Wonderful views. Other bungalows are being built in the backyard. At the time we were the only guests. We had a lovely 5 day stay here, bungalow is directly on the sand and the scenery is lovely! Very basic room, cold shower, no sink which was a bit inconvenient. Also the resort could do with a tidy up, lots of stuff lying around, the area directly outside the porch needs cleaning up. Having said that, nice food at the restaurant, it was little quite as we were the only guests! Perfect location. Friendly wonder

Simple bungalow at the beach”

Peace paradise resort was being renovated when we got there (we recieved no info about this before, so there was some confusion initially). This meant that we had been booked at the neighbouring resort Koh Pu Valley instead. A very simple woven bamboo bungalow a few metres from the beach in a beautiful garden/jungle area. The bed was hard and the bathroom very basic, but since we paid next to nothing it was still good value for money. The restaurant served very tasty food and the beach and close vicinity was very calm and relaxed. I really recommend staying on this beach if you are looking for total serenity. You will be accompanied by a few other tourists and by the monkeys in the mornings :)

If you seek peace in bamboo bungalow, under palm trees, in front of cleand sandy beach and crystal clear water....you are right here...marvelous thai food, frienfly host family, everything fine...in hot season be aware of electricity only available evening till midnight, after the fan stoo ynd you get soaked in your own sweat...but thats paradise...no airconditioning for adam and eva there...just get out of the bungalow and sleep on the balcony...ther is always wind...and some monkeys...may be...

A place so perfectly named!”

Truly at peace in this paradise! Lay in a hammock, have a delicious meal on a bamboo platform on the beach, swim in the sea, listen to the jungle, go kayaking or snorkeling with their complimentary equipment, walk on the beach, whatever your peaceful heart desires! The property is located on a quiet stretch of Koh Pu (the more rural northern half of Koh Jum), best access to Koh Jum town is probably by boat, as the roads in Koh Pu are more like rocky dirt trails with street signs. There are a few other adorable beach resorts within a short walk of Peace Paradise Resort, but the area is blissfully quiet. A troupe of monkeys lives in the forest beside the resort, super fun to watch and listen to- however don't bring any food into your room, they are not monkey proof and those little guys are sneaky 😉 The owner, Yai, is so sweet and helpful and the food is amazing and affordable. I can't wait to come back and spend another few days doing absolutely nothing!

Back to basics stay but amazing experience”

The owners of this place and their staff are fantastic. Mat and Yai are so hospitable and her cooking is amazing. The bungalows are basic but the bar is rustic and chilled. I made a fishing rod and was taken out and given bait and used the free kayak and snorkel All in all a wonderful experience and I would say you are missing out if you do not book here for your stop on koh jum!

Lovely location, fears that it would be too isolated were not realised as a few other places to visit up the beach. Staff were great, food was soo good we ate there every night (and not overpriced.) beach huts very basic but flush toilets and water. It is one of the more low key resorts on the island and all the better for it. Perfect place to relax wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely try to return.

At the beginning of highseason we were alone in the resort and so we had the full attention from the staff. They made us feeling like a part of the family. Only the bed was a little bit to hard. We had a very relaxing time in this resort and we definitly would come back.

We originally booked for 2 nights and ended up staying 6. This is by far the most tranquil and beautiful places we've stayed. Enough great restaurants to eat in, yet it still managed to remain so peaceful & relaxed. We loved everything about the Island. The staff were amazing and so friendly. I would definitely go bank there for a visit. Thank you for a truly memorable experience!'
