Отлично. Один только вид из окна на ступу задержал нас в отеле на 10 дней. Гостиница старая, но есть все что нужно.

Великолепно”

Great hotel. We had a deluxe room and it is really worth the extra few dollars. The room was exactly as pictured. The bed was soft (very rare in SE Asia). It was nice having a fridge and hot water kettle. There common area included a well stocked kitchen, water refilling station, and washing machine. We enjoyed our stay so much we extended it (twice!)

Everything was good. Free water, free BKK Post in the lobby. Used the kitchen a little. Used the washing machine. Front desk was able to give good directions (in Thai) to a friend. Maid service was excellent. It's not The Hilton; but it's a great value for the price, and a great location to explore the Old City!

Kept extending my stay...stayed for several nights!”

Was looking for quiet in Chiang Mai (as a very light sleeper) and this was definitely the right place...on a quiet alleyway and the upper rooms have a nice view of the neighboring wat. Originally I planned to stay for just 1 night ended up staying for 5 or 6. The owners are great and very outgoing and helpful. Should mention this isn't really the place to meet younger travelers (most people staying here were older) but it was a nice place to come 'home' to after a long day. Will miss it.

Exactly what I was looking for”

The rooms are simple, nothing fancy but fine for the price. However, I stayed longer than anticipated because of the other guests. Lots of single, older folks (I fit right in) without any noisy party people or burned-out expats. The lady who runs the restaurant welcomes everybody, and her food is so good for the price that people from nearby guest houses often come for meals and stay to hang out. RCN is set up for you to do your own laundry or have them do it, make your own meals, bring your own beer or take-out, or eat in, rent a bike or grab a tuk-tuk on the corner. Yet it's close enough to walk to most places you want to be. You can negotiate a price for a week or a month. Warning: while I was there a VERY friendly French-Canadian woman was helpfully arranging tourist trips with her Kymer boyfriend taxi-driver. I didn't figure out their scheme until I noticed that everyplace we went, he got something for free. As long as you know the game, it's not a problem. Everything else was great.

Nice quiet place, a bit run down, but cheap”

it's hard to go wrong. This place it tucked away in the north east corner close to the night food stalls, a couple of markets, some great little cafes and restaurants, and of course the jazz bar at the North Gate. It's a little run down for some, but for a short stay for independent travelers who don't need the comforts of more expensive hotels, it's a great little place.

well cared for property”

Nice kitchen, even if you just want to toast bread for sandwiches. Good coin washer. Too much in a backpacker ghetto for me, but I had a pleasant stay, and I do think the staff care a lot about their property. Agoda rates are significantly better than what they charge at the front desk. I can't recommend the laundry service on site, because the towels smell like they were bathing soi dogs with, but just do it yourself for 20 THB.

clean, well-located hotel in Chiang Mai”

i enjoyed my stay at rcn. the location was very good, as it's in the heart of the old city of chiang mai...just a short walk to moon muang, which is alongside the moat. the staff was helpful. the rooom wss clean with an ensuite bathroom/shower, and the wi-fi, a/c and tv channel selection were all good. the adjacent restaurant was closed while i was there.

Please consider another hotel”

This place is miserable. It is not like the pictures at all. No drinking water or soap/shampoo in the room. If your still considering this place, I recommend to book just one night. Then the following day, you can move to a better place without feeling bad about losing a little baht. The price is cheap but still far from worth it.

This was my second stay here, and Agoda beats what they charge at the front desk by 1/4. Quiet and convenient. I didn't use a Tuk-Tuk the entire visit. Relatively easy to find, and close enough to a main road that you only have to walk 40 meters on the narrow alley. The main boss is overseeing operations, so they are much more meticulous than most guesthouses. I do prefer the maid service at the larger hotels, but will stay here again.

large room, good chanel selection, pleasant”

Nice older room overlooking a Temple. Only got water on the first night. Mosquito problem in the room. One big sewer roach that I killed--common during rainy season, but some will freak over this. Somewhat above average for Thailand, fairly meticulous staff. I paid 375 here, but they wanted 500 at the front desk. Would stay again. Only noisy when the cars are moving in the morning for a little bit, otherwise very quiet room in an otherwise very noisy area. The much bigger than most room would be well suited for couples.

A good standard of accommodstion for the price. Large, clean room, good shower and helpful staff. chiang Mai is cooler than other parts of Thailand, so I found air con to be unecessary. The on-site laundry was useful, as was the self-catering kitchen. Grocery stores are close by, and excellent street food as available everywhere, especially at night.

Location is good but it's not worth the value”

Location is good because near walking street, staff kindly but the price for room only, it's not worth the value. Room don't have any coffee or tea for complimentary. For free water bottled need asking to staff. For clean up room if don't asking for clean, hotel staff don't come to do its. Don't have hot water.

Inexpensive and convenient”

Arrived mid-afternoon after a long and uncomfortable journey, and was able to take an undisturbed nap. I do not usually find it easy to sleep anywhere other than in my own bed. TV (for those interested) provided a wide range of channels and I was able to get up in the middle of the night and witness return to Arsenal FC.

Perfect for a couple days”

Overall our stay was quite nice. If you are sightseeing, going on adventures, wanting to experience nightlife, or just passing through town for a couple of days, it's a great place to stay. Just a place to sleep- nothing else. Worth the price!

our 2 nights stay at this hotel was superb! great location and friendly staff. this hotel is close to the sunday walking street market and the night bazaar market. need more information about things you can do in chiang mai? the friendly staff will be able to help.

Staff is friendly. ”

the hotel is near a famous temple in chiangmai (chiang man temple). it takes approx. 20 mins from chiangmai int'l airport to rcn court & inn. the room is okay but the aircon operates noisily. however, the staff is so kind to get us changed to another room upon receiving comment.

One of the worst hotels i have stayed in my life!!”

I booked for 2 nights to stay with my girlfriend..... Hotel staff was unpleasant and rood....Bored very much.... Room NOT clean and VERY small.... Nobody come to clean our room for the second day .... NO WIFI connection worked, althought the hotel advertice that has free wi-fi internet connection.... The bed was too hard and small....tv had ONLY 2 channels and not in English of course.... Staff cannot speak English as well..... Everything very bad for me and my gf..... I not recomend this hotel to noone.... At this location you can find very good and cheap budjet rooms , starting at 200 baht/night ...... ! NO comparison between this hotel and other hotels i booked to stay later..... BAD choice !

comfortable and a good value”

This place is in a good location, central to walk within the moat, and near everything you will need to see or close by tuk tuk. There is an outdoor kitchen if you wish to cook and laundry available on site. While not fancy RCN works well for travelers. Good restaurants nearby like Thai Thai, which as a great menu, with lots of additions.
