Мы бронировали отель на Agoda. Когда приехали,нам Нам рецепшен наглая служащая сказала,что нет свободных номеров. Мы начали показывать бронирование,на что получили четкий ответ-на Agoda бронировали,вот пусть вас Agoda и заселяет... Пришлось искать другой отель-нашли через дорогу и лучше и дешевле и ближе к пляжу... Пожаловались на произвол в службу поддержки Agoda,предоставили чек из другого отеля- перед нами извинились и предоставили в качестве компенсации 10 долларов скидки при следующем бронировании. Вобщем отелем руководят мерзопакостные людишки...

The hotel sign is not very obvious. There are wide monkey came from the forest at the back of the resort but they never caused any issue. Very quiet place.

Reserved through Agoda and it was mention paiement at arrival, we arrived and they informed us no paiement by credit card and only cash. There was a sticker at the entrance with paiement of visa/Mastercard. We tried to explain that we rather pay by credit card and be charge the fee from him then withdrawing money. He refuse. We went for breakfast at the cafe and they charged us more then what it was mention on the menu. We ask the reception for the price of a Tuk tuk from the hotel to old town (there was always 2 tuk tuk at the hotel). He was charging 1400 baht two ways, In the streets they were charging 300 one way. The bedroom was fine but not very clean. Many stains on everything. No housekeeping. We had to request more paper toilet. During our stay they did not clean our room. We had the family room. There was one double bed, one single and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was awful. I didn’t need to sofa bed but do not recommend for people that needs it. Location wasn’t bad but a 15 minutes walk to the beach and about 15 minutes to saladan town. Will not stay here again.

A gem in Lanta!”

Rimkhao is a friendly family run place and Nina the girl that runs it couldn't be more helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious and can be cleaned daily if you want which is a lovely touch. The area is great with it being very local, lots of restaurants nearby and you are only a 10min walk to Saladan and to a 7/11. Also Tesco Lotus is only a 5 min walk away. I would highly recommend anyone coming to Ko Lanta to stay here - it's one of the best values for money I've ever seen in Thailand!! Beautiful Gardens amongst the Monkeys”

Great value for money beautiful setting. Bungalows amongst the forest with monkeys coming down or an evening. Very clean., great staff. Walking to a fantastic beach, short walk to the Night market (great food) and to walking street. Walkable from the pier.

The apartment room is ok but the garden room is not!”

We are three travelers. My husband and I booked for an apartment A/C room and our friend booked for a fan garden room. Our A/C room is ok in the fresh conditions even though seem like they have a water problem which sometime running very poor and sometime no water to shower at all (have to wait for them refill the water tank). However our friend who booked the fan garden view bungalow could not stay in at all because the room is very stink from the bad air circulation. the bathroom and the pillow are fungus. the furniture all running down. At the end he canceled the whole period of staying and moved to the apartment hotel on the opposite side of the road instead.

Cheap but not cheerful”

As others have said.. Need a bit of flash and bleach.as room smelt damp and felt grubby. Awful mattress and hard pillows. Best bit was monkeys in garden.

Awesome staff ”

We didn't actually get to stay at this hotel. We booked about an hour before we arrived and when we got there it had been overbooked. The man at the resort though, was super apologetic and actually drove us around to find another hotel. He even paid the upgrade fee amd would not allow us to pay him. So although I can't rate the hotel, the staff was amazing.

Apartment rooms are newer and better, furniture in bungalow are a bit old.

Good value ”

Bungalows set in nice grounds, and a class above the 'beach shack' style bungalow. Immaculately clean, hot shower, and aircon that worked very well. Only criticism of the room is that there was no housekeeping during my 4 night stay, despite requesting a change of towels etc on night 2. The location has pluses and minuses. It's a ten min walk to the beach, and does get some road noise from the nearby main road. But it's quiet at night with the party action from the busier spots not creating any disturbance. The bungalows are located metres from the edge of the jungle, which climbs a steep hill behind the resort. Each day there were monkey visitors...either completely cute or mildly terrifying depending on your disposition ;-). I scored 3 for the food and drink, not sure if it is offered in site, I didn't try. Restaurants and 7-11 close by. Good value for the money paid.

The room smelt of mould and the curtains had mouldystains on them. I would not stay there again.

We loved our stay at the Rim Khao! ”

We were very pleasantly surprised by how much we enjoyed our stay at the Rim Khao, after paying 1600 baht a night for the most basic in accommodation on ko phi phi, we were very happy to arrive to a massive suite with a balcony, large bathroom and kitchenette for only 1500 baht! We booked only one night originally but wound up staying 2. As a young group of 3, we found koh lanta quite sleepy, although the beaches were magnificent and we definitely could have stayed longer. The beach is about a 20 minute walk away and there's not a whole lot going on near the hotel, but we had a blast renting mopeds from the lobby for only 250 a day and riding up and down the beautiful island. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Their English isn't excellent but if you speak slow it works out fine and they will use a translator if they need to. If I ever go back to koh lanta, I will definitely return here.

Pretty cool but no cigar”

It's a great place for individuals who doesn't really care about having a super luxury place. It has everythig you need: clean bed, wi-fi, a shower and monkeys who comes every morning from the hills to steal your swimming shorts. The location is pretty good, it's close to Saladan and lots of cafés both Thai and European style. The only issue I had is thin walls, you can literally hear your neighbor scratch his/her bum.

Nice bungalows in a nice garden”

Nice garden, although its not on the beach - the garden definitly has its charm. The nearest beach is Klong Dao Beach about 3 minutes by scooter or a 10 minute walk. Stayed there for 5 nights in one of the bungalows at the end of the garden. Each bungalow has a nice veranda, A/C, fridge and tv (if you need it). It was quiet, clean and absolutely worth the money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can rent a motorcycle or bike. Laundry service is also available on site. The room service must be told to make up the room, otherwise nothing happens. Wifi was a bit of a pain because it worked only half the time. Beware of the monkeys in the garden - dont feed them, otherwise you will never get rid of them.

The bungalow and garden setting were fantastic, one of the nicest budget rooms you will ever stay in. Staff was non-present and lobby was always vacant.
