Lovely owners - so friendly ”

‘Rupy/Papa’ doesn’t speak English but he uses his phone to translate conversation back and forth. He was excellent, very friendly family, from teaching us Vietnamese to offering to take us to his beehives in the Bird Valley. The breakfast is perfect - the best banana pancakes with organic honey from his bees. The bungalows are large and clean, from reading other reviews they are mistaken when saying there is a pool though. This belongs to neighbouring hotel ‘Lavender’ which you can pay to use if you wish. The location is great, a short walk down a quiet road, we hired a bike which you need if you want to get to Trang An, waterfalls etc. Really wonderful stay in Tam Coc thanks to this family.

Exceptional hospitality and Value!”

The owners, Ruby and Cau could not have been more accommodating. From their warm welcome and exceptional friendliness to their arranging a taxi for our departure and everything in between, it was a great experience. The breakfast was custom made and Delicious and a delicious lunch is available too. We had 2 rooms (small, individual cabins) and both were modern, spacious, clean and well appointed. With air conditioning and fan and plenty of hot water. The grounds are beautiful and well kept and it’s a very short walk to town with easy access to boats and restaurants. There is cold bottled water, beer, wine and other cold drinks available 24 hours for a reasonable price. Maybe the best stay of our vacation. We were confused at first by the term “home stay”, thinking it may be a shared room or B&B but we’re very pleasantly surprised with the individual cabins combined with the genuine home feel from the owners. A fantastic value!

We thank Ruby for having us. He was absolutely friendly & he became a vietnamese friend of us. It was one of the best stays we had yet on our trip. He even showed us his bee farm and brought us fresh fruits every day. Thanks Ruby, we hope we will see you again. :-)

We stayed here for 4 days in total and it is our the best hotel so far in Vietnam. The host family were welcoming a lot and tried to help us :D They have big swimming pool and free bicycle as well. The breakfast is filling ( such as Bread, Eggs, Veges, Fruits and Tee or Coffee). It is located in Tam coc so you can easily go anywhere! I highly recommend here and I would like to stay again if I visit Vietnam again! Thanks.

Our Favorite place in Vietnam.”

We spent six nights in Ninh Bình and were so glad we found Ruby Homestay. We found this place riding around on a motorbike and decided we wanted to move there based on what we actually saw. The pool was excellent and the location was perfect. To put it all over the top, our host was extremely generous and hospitable. We hope to go back to Ninh Bình and wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else.

Mesmo assim, Ruby foi a melhor surpresa entre as pessoas que conhecemos. Muito simpático, sempre tenta ajudar sem ser intrometido. Nossa estadia aqui foi fantástica.

Endroit propre et très sympa, au calme et à proximité du centre. Gnoc, le propriétaire et sa femme sont très accueillants et disponibles (prêt de vélos, réservation de billets de train...) La piscine est très agréables!! Je recommande sans problème ce lieu.

Cô chú chủ homestay rất rất rất là nhiệt tình, thân thiện với tất cả mọi người. Phòng thì cực đẹp, tiện nghi và sạch sẽ. Nói chung là đến Ninh Bình thì nên thử nha mọi người,... cảm giác như đang ở nhà.
