Cozy nice place in a quiet street ”

Really great choice. Very friendly couple who owns the place. So beautifully designed and cozy bungalow, with paintings and designs done by the owner, who is an artist. Comfortable bed, good air-con, spacious and modern bathroom, all was really perfect. Wifi was very good and they had a bicycle to rent for free. I could get good tips from the owner about what to do in Nan. If you walk to the place from bus-station, look carefully to Google-Maps, then you can find, there are a few signboards before you reach.

Family feel comfortably off the beaten track”

Sun's guesthouse is not named after himself, he tells us but after the Sanskrit word for beauty. Situated in a little residential area outside of the main city of Nan, it is within walking distance of the bus stop, which was a relief as there were no tuktuks or motos at the bus stop at 10pm at night. The location itself means that the surrounding area is pretty quiet but, in all honesty, the entire town is. Nan is not a place like Chiang Mai where you need to go a bit further away from the centre to get some peaceful rest. Breakfast consists of some cup noodles or rice porridge and there is free tea or coffee as well. Nothing fancy but the guesthouse as a whole - the rooms are basic but clean with a fridge - is a simple affair. Bonus points are definitely earned with freshly baked muffins and bread from Sun's wife. Sun himself is wonderfully chatty and very helpful and even drove us to the local clinic and helped us make an appointment to get some wounds cleaned. He really makes you feel welcome and told us, that if we had contacted him with our arrival time, he would have come to pick us up. Indeed, he dropped us off at the bus when we set off for Laos. There are also bikes and mopeds to rent. The bikes brakes leave a lot to be desired and I would probably skip these if you plan on cycling anywhere further than the night market. The moped, at 200 baht a day, is double the price of those in Pai but does come with a full tank of fuel. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend Nan to anyone heading to Northern Thailand and wishes to do more than just the tourist trail towards Laos. It's a really sleepy town with beautiful temples and a laid back feel. We also didn't see a single other tourist during our stay.

Great countryside bungalows ”

I was looking to stay in the town, but the hotel I wanted wasn't available, so I chose this one. I'm so glad I did because it was perfect. San and his family were great hosts and had free bikes to borrow. It's actually not far from town, burn totally felt like the countryside. Having said that, it's a bit far to trek with your bags from the bus station, so having your own transport would help. Wifi is great too.

Beautiful small resort with friendly owners!”

Clean and quite resort with friendly owners. Not directly in town so you should have motorbike to ride around but if you wanna see all beautiful places in Nan province you'll need one anyway. We liked this place so we extended our stay two more nights.

The friendly hotel”

I love the design of the room, very functional and value for money. The owner also very nice, offer the free ride for me to the airport. If I go back to Nan again, I will stay this hotel again.

Good guesthouse”

Location is a little bit far from the city center. But Nan city is a small city, you just need to spend a few minute to ride bicycle to anywhere in Nan city from guesthouse. The owner couple is nice, they can provide all the valuable information about Nan. They are son is slyly and cute. The room is large and clean. It planted trees in the garden. It makes you feel so comfortable and peaceful. The owner also put some artist product he made it by himself to decorate in the garden. The owner is provide free pick up service from their guesthouse to the airport. Overall, it totally deserve you stay in this geusthoseu a few days to explore Nan city.

Situated in a quiet area. Free bicycles to rent. The owners are very nice and polite also provides a free pick up from airport or bus station. Only pity that the bed is not comfortable, too hard. Over all is good there.

A little art gem in Nan”

The resort is a bit out of Nan city center, but they can lend you two bikes to cycle around. For 400 baht a night it was absolutely a fantastic room though. The owner is a local artist, and his creation adorn the recently built rooms too.

(커피,티,식빵,인스턴트 누들) 버스정류장에서 도보로 가능하구요. 가는길에 슈퍼하나 있어요 자전저도 무료로 대여 해주시구요 혼자인 저를 위해 차로 가고 싶은 사원도 직접 태워주시고 설명도 해주시고 사진도 찍어주시고 엉엉 너무 고마워서 속으로 울었어요 세상에 너무 좋은 분들 때문에 마음이 따뜻해 졌습니다. 다시 난에 온다면 꼭 다시 한번 머물고 싶어요 그들에게 값비싼 마음을 얻어 간거 같아요 고마워요 I will see you again.
