Cons: - AC was barely working - slow internet - No lobby in this hotel, when you come in and out you have to literally jump over people always sitting at the entrance (who don’t even move a tiny bit to let you go) - Rude owners Pros: - location (right next to Bui Vien street) even though it is very loud all night Conclusion: Find a better place

WORST HOSTEL OF ALL”
1st. The room is made of tiles. Even the walls, so the whole room looks like a bath room.. 2nd. Stinky smell that i cant even recognize what it is and where it came from 3rd. Full of spider webs, dirt and molds 4rt. The hostel is located in a small lane that looks like a squater area. 5th. At night, the surroundings is so loud. Lots of disco, bar, clubs and hostest!! Omg not good for our children. 6th. We are so tired, so before we take a nap, we ask the staff to book us a taxi exactly 9pm so that she can wake us @9pm when the driver arrived but guest what? I waked up 11:35pm we almost miss the chance to get our flight / airplane. So we are in a hurry and we saw the lady sleeping downstair and told us sorry she forgot? What? Ok then we leave the hostel as soon as we can to reach the airport and guess what? A lot of people are on the way spent 15minutes walk for 100 meters only! Before we can finally hire a taxi! Because taxi cant even come close to the hostel. So crowded and loud!

The place leave much to be desired it's good for me basically one night stay nothing more place there was a huge puddle on the floor when we came in the Cable Guy didn't work internet is spotty and very weak I just had an overall feeling of uncleanlinessI host was very friendly at least

Good for the price ”
The hostel was a bit hard to find but a nice lady helped us find it. We came at 02:00 at night and had to ring the bell for the hostel as the door closes around 22:30. We were let in by a nice lady, who didn't spoke a word of English, but showed us our room. ( room 2) It was nice and bigger than expected and with 2 big beds and a very small balcony + good aircon and fan . Staff didn't speak English but was nice and we got by with using simple words and signs - if there was a question the nice lady would call someone who spoke English. Location is great! If you come back later than 22:20 or around that time on weekdays the main door is locked, so you have to ring a bell for the lady to open. All in all a good experience and good value for the money.

Room is big but with ants. ”
No reception. I was so disappointed upon our check out that they billed us 400k dong for the electric kettle. We thought is free just like the basic hotel/guesthouse amenities. When we ask the person there, she cannot talk or even understand simple english so we don't have a choice except to pay the 400k to avoid delay in our next trip.

Good location ”
Great place for food and drink and good access to tourist attractions. Palace, museums and gardens/zoo are all walking distance. Hotel staff arranged us tours at decent prices. A little loud at night because you are right by the main strip. But the air con drowns most of the noise out. Would definitely stay again if Back in the area.

Came to the place but the host brought me to another building. Room with basic facilities, not excellent service but at least the location is good. Not suitable for those who can't stand the noise though, as it's right at Bui Vien, very noisy at night.

If you're arriving after hours, you need to buzz the door bell which can be difficult to find. Ask a nearby storekeeper.

Cheap and good hotel if you are just looking for some place to sleep. Aircon work well, good value for money. I will recommend this place to my friends, And will surely stay next visit and its in the heart of Saigon. Few KM away from main attractions..

Good location in pham ngu lao bui vien street”
It is easy to find as it is in bui vien street in pham ngu lao. The street will be very crowded at night. Convenient for travelers who enjoy night life!! I got the highest floor and it is quite inconvenient as the stairs are narrow. Overall it is okay to stay at for budget traveler.

Room not prepared ”
Toilet light not working when we reach. Clothes rack dropped off and had to be fixed back. Need to ask for amenities like soap, bath towel etc as they were either not yet provided in the room or not enough for the number of pax staying in the family room.

Friendly owner ”
This hotel is for backpackers. I really love an owner of this hotel. She has very kindness and we can go back the hotel any time without her being offended even though midnight. If you do not like small shower room, you can go outside and take a wide bath at Liverty hotel 1 or 2 minutes walk.

Pleasant Stay”
Being asked to take off our shoes at the entrance was unexpected but does help the cleanliness. Our room was very clean, with clean bedding. We had the tiniest piece of balcony where we hung our washing with our pegless clothes line. Being in the city centre it was very quiet. Only guest noise as they came and went. Fans and air conditioner. Room 2. Helpful, organised, staff with good English. Good location, in alley, close to food, busses, park, etc. Negatives - Glass panels in door let in light from the stairwell.
