Приветливый персонал, красивый, ухоженный отель, тихое спокойное расположение, вдали от тусовок, идеальный отель для проведения романтического отдыха, бесплатный трансфер до пляжа Панва (правда в этот период очень сильные отливы были на море, поэтому особо не искупаешься в море), бассейн, бильярд.

this was our favorite hotel in thailand and it just happened to be in our favorite part of thailand. railay is beautiful and it has the distinction of being one of those especially hard to find places where the droves of spirit killing tourists haven't ravaged the land and spoilt the setting beyond repair. this is likely because it is the most exotic remote island in thailand that is not terribly remote, nor an island at all... ;-) it is however unconnected from mainland krabi as the stunning limestone cliffs jutting from the earth surrounding railay prevent passage. thus it is only accessible by boat and this make it the perfect well kept secret of western thailand. the islands will always have a sexier appeal, by definition they are islands. but railay blows away the lot. this secret will not last for long...

Lovely place but situation not that easy”

Very charming hotel, rooms are clean and quite big for a very cheap price but not easy to access though. HOwever, you can easily ask to rent a scooter which is very convenient to visit around. Staff very nice !! But local people not fluent in english at all...

Lovvely, nice, friendly”

We enjoyed it immensly, the staff is super friendly which was especially important because we had a small child who had to get used to the time difference. The rooms are shiny clean and get cleaned and changed every day which is great value for the money!

Great place with good food”

a right place to rest and relax...very quiet and windy. our room was upgraded to honeymoon suite because they did not have any extra bed. amazingly clean and big room. provided shutters to the beaches, app 5 - 10 min drive. staff is attentive and helpful. limited choices for breakfast but sufficient portion to keep you full. good to include thai food to the breakfast menu in the near future. thank you, ... for attending to all our requests immediately.

Awesome resort - Highly highly recommended”

Stayed in Deluxe Suite which was very comfortable and cozy, close to swimming pool and with a see view - nothing else which I could have asked for. Staff is excellent as well. Location of the resort is little out of the way - away from night life and with limited transport available. Resort offers a free drop and pick up from the sea, which is comfortable. I would recommend just stay in the resort, enjoy beautiful views, swimming pool and delicious food in the resort.

Fantastic Service from the friendly Staff”

The Chalet Phuket Resort is a family friendly boutique resort with 19 uniquely designed rooms, located at the Makham Bay Phuket (close to Cape Panwa). The rooms are very new and clean and basic amenities are provided. The staff are very friendly and attentive to the needs of the guests. The resort also provides free wifi and also a very generous complimentary mini bar on a daily basis. There is also a driver on standby to take you to a nice cosy beachfront about 5 minutes away from the resort if you would like to busk in the sun and get a tan. The restaurant in the resort serves authentic and delicious Thai food at very reasonable prices. You can dine and wine away to an awesome panoramic view of the Andaman Sea and enjoy the moonlight in the evenings. The Chalet Phuket Resort is definitely a hidden treasure that has yet to be discovered by many. Will definitely stay there again the next time we visit Phuket.

A quiet place to rest in Phuket”

Well it was just as a transit place between my liveaboard in Burma and my return to HK. I had to wait the minimum requiered after diving and wanted a quiet place, I did not mind if any beach and I saw that they had a swimming pool. The hotel is quiet original, the room are big, clean ane very clear. The decoration remind a little the 70's and it was funny but very very confortable. Thai food is good, breakfast simple but you have everything you need and it's very quiet.

Small hotel overlooking unsightly buildings”

The room was OK but the hotel website gave the impression that it was next to the sea whereas it was on a steep hillside overlooking buildings and unsightly shacks. The staff were not helpful and their attention could have been better. This downside was accentuated by the fact that a service charge was added to food in the restaurant, which our case we felt was not justified. Guests at the hotel could use the beach facilities at the Crowne Plaza Hotel which was down the hill.

Quite hotel and helpful staff”

The hotel is in a quite corner of Phuket. You need a car/motorcyle to get around. The restaurant area looked nice; our room was big and modern; but the pool was old and uninviting. The hotel had very low occupancy when we were there, which made it seem a bit sad. Getting to the westside beaches took a lot longer than expected due to heaving traffic around Phuket town.

Simple hotel, bad location ”

The Chalet is located in Makham bay some minutes drive from Cape Panwa which seems to be a really nice place in Phuket. However, the Chalet is located uphill, which may give you a nice view on the beautiful bay, but if you want to go swimming forget it, instead you can use the very small pool it has. If you're considering to stay in the area take a hotel which is right on the beach. The staff doesn't understand English (I wouldn't say at all but you get it...), we had to head down to one of Cape Panwa's better hotels to get help and some descent transportation from that other hotel to Patong at night.

Nice but don't believe their advertisements”

the pics of the beach they show are not near the hotel. you have to take a free shuttle to get to the beaches, neither are nice. while hanging out in the restaurant/lounge we saw that the screensaver on their computers said the minibar was free. at checkout they tried charging us for the minibar usage. had to argue with them about their false advertisement for a considerable amount of time.

Nice hotel, sea view but do not have a beach in front For swimming have to go to a different place 2 km away Very quiet place. Not a night life area. Good for romantic stay in hotel for couple of days. Free Wifi did not working for the time we stayed in hotel

Beautiful villa with private swimming pool”

The only problem about the hotel is they did not clean the villa before we checked in... The bedrooms were clean except the exterior and some of the interior because we saw alot of droppings inside the villa...

nice staff - slightly out of the way”

I enjoyed my stay but it was quite a hassle to reach it. If you are looking for a hotel away from everything and just some quiet time this is your place :) The staff was great but it was really calm and not many people there. They have free wi-fi and also computers you can use.

Just a place that I will go for once as the resort didn't close to a beach and the internet wifi was terrible.
