Well this place is so bad and overated, that after complaining to Agoda, and they followed up my complaint, the hotel never responded to agoda's e mails, good on agoda they have given me a full refund and 10% off my next booking!!!DO NOT STAY HERE

The hotels netside gave impression that the place was closed because of work on the hotel, even when they accepted guests. The numbers given on their site to contact The Ricefields hotel were not in use, and they never answered my mail. The water to the room was several times closed for many hours without notice, and was not connected to the room again before they got complaints about it. The reception was mainly empty, and the alternative number to contact the receptionist, often connected me to people who didn`t understand english. The tv had only one channel, a thai channel and the picture was horrible. On their netside they said the rooms had tv with satellite tv, but when I told them about it, they didn`t care.

Service excellent, rooms are spacious”

Really nicely decorated and situated in a quiet suburb. Perfect for a getaway but still too far away from the city. A pleasant 15min drive from the airport or to the city is all that is needed to get you back to civilization Or to catch your flight connection. Staff service is excellent and many of the staff speak excellent English even though they come from many different countries in the region. The facilities are great too. An outdoor gym and pool and huge rooms that face outwards into the surrounding ricefields and village.

5 stars hotel at 3 stars price”

The hotel is quite far from the city and located in the rice field and next to a temple. I strongly recommend all the guests to check-in during the day time or you may hesitate to stay because the hotel is quite far, dark and quiet. The decoration is nice for western guests but not too friendly to Thai guests as some of the paintings, figures, items are from local folktales. The breakfast is a must moment because the fresh air and greenery scene.

Peaceful and great atmosphere”

One of the best places I have ever stayed at. Very peaceful and relaxing. If you want to get away from the big city and experience real thailand then this is the place to stay. Real working farm. Can fish, swim, and enjoy all the farm has to offer. Rooms where 4 star quality. Staff needs a little work, but this due to the fact it is a nonprofit run by the young adults that are part of the organization.

hotel was a bit remote and there was no restaurants around, 10 kilometers out of ringroad in an old village.no management ever seen or answered phone to help with directions.
