Останавливались на 3 ночи, все понравилось! Хозяин общительный, дружелюбный. Комнаты небольшие, но все необходимое есть. Комнаты чистые, с балкончиком (мы жили на 2 этаже), дворик уютный, где можно позавтракать, посидеть, как в гостиной.Напротив великолепное спа. Девочки делают такой массаж, что ни с чем не сравнить.

The housekeeper is not good enough!”

The boss and his son(at the reception) are very kind and polite! The housekeeper doesn't replace bed sheet. We used the same bed sheet over 4 nights! And the water pressure is quite low. Other things are very good!

Great place. Nice big room and good bathroom. We got fresh towels, soap and earbuds, and water everyday which was great. They didn’t clean the room or bathroom at all during our 6 night stay though and they didn’t change the bathroom mat even though it was clearly looking very dirty. Overall really happy with our stay and a great location.

Great stay over Songkran ”

We stayed 4 nights during songkran and had a wonderful stay. It’s in a great location, the rooms were very clean and each day we got fresh towels and bottled water. The staff was very accommodating when we needed to move the dates of our stay around due to us booking a last minute overnight trek. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in Chiang Mai!

Good location, hot room!”

We stayed here for a few nights during dry season as they listed Aircon, it was very much more like a fan. We notified the younger man at reception who then sent up the older man to have a look. Who decided to simply accuse me of seeing the temp to low, even though that's how it was set when we arrived. He set it higher and nothing changed. The place itself is nice, just not a great atmosphere and bathroom not very clean (silver fish is sink). Although we did appreciate the water in the fridge everyday.

Amazing value ”

Trigong offered amazing value for money for a great location in old city. Clean rooms, nice staff, air con and big fridge suited all my needs. Bathroom is ‘wet room’ style. Only negative was a little noisy at times.

Would stay again and really like the family”

I red the reviews and seen people mention the grumpy man who wanted money when he could get it.. this isn't faulse I seen him walking past the room looking at his clock waiting for it to be 1minute over to charge extra maybe he always looked grumpy but I spent a little time to get to no him and his family and they are really great people with alot of respect. Treat people how you want to be treated if I owed a home and idiot tourist came for the night and disrespected my home I would also be alittle grumpy so don't prejudge people and do not go of reviews I would.. intact I can't wait to stay again I believe his English name was Adam so say hi to him for me if you do stay take a little time to play with the children stroke the dog take 2minutes out of your life to show them you have respect and you shall be respected. It's a simple life

Great Stay, Great Value, Great Location, Not Great Internet!!!”

I have stayed at Tri Gong Residence twice now and was grateful both times. I love having the biggest fridge I have ever seen in a rented room. Both rooms were spacious and kept clean, a challenge this most recent time with the very high volume of pollution from the crop burning and forest fires that made Chiang Mai the most polluted place in the world most of the time I was there. Both times it was quiet in my room even when I was there New Years eve (my first stay at Tri Gong). The reason for the lesser rating for the facilities is that the quality of the internet is poor, so travelers who work online or use the internet a lot, can be aware that this could be a challenge at Tri Gong. Thank you Tri Gong folks, for having a great place for me to stay in Chiang Mai!!

Rude and unhelpful staff”

When we arrived we were greeted by the most unhelpful, inconsiderate and unprofessional man. As guests, he made our whole stay unpleasant and more difficult than it had to be. The worst customer service we’ve had since our 3 months in Southeast Asia. The room itself was nice, clean and in anexcellent location. Great for a few nights in Chiangmai. There are countless fun bars and restaurants just down street.

probably one of the better places we stayed in on our 2 month trip through Thailand. for only $14 a night, huge fridge with freezer, nice TV, AC worked well, shower was hot, small balcony, and good location. I'd definitely recommend!

Value ”

Extremely clean, simple, large refrigerator (for a hotel). Great location.... I arrived with dirty laundry. Yards away I paid $2. For a lady to wash, dry and fold. My bags zipper broke during airport security. $1.80 for a Taylor to make the repair a couple yards further. A few steps more & several outdoor restaurants/bar.and too many more to list. Will be back.

Not sure what others are complaining about or how this place is as cheap as it is. Daily we were given fresh towels, they tidied our room, made our bed, left water, toilet paper and soap. The room was huge with it's own balcony where we could hang our laundry to dry. The owners were friendly, helpful and didn't try to pressure us to go on tours or activities. The location was perfect, close to a market, amazing cafes (Graph cafe & Graph Table!) & plenty of food options from street to restaurant. A great place to stay. Thanks!

Fantastic price, I admit that's what drew me in. The rooms were clean, with daily room service. Free water. Fridge, tv, hot shower, toiletries, aircon - everything I could want. Room was a reasonable size, and even had a small balcony (with no view, but I suppose it gives people a private place to smoke). The location is perfect - a quiet street right near the main street, lots of great restaurants, and services (good massage, cheapish scooter rental, laundry)... everything you want is right there. Parking is available (a rarity in many places). You can borrow umbrellas.

We stayed during Songkran (Thai New Year) and price was still great. Hotel in good location just a few minutes to the river and 10-15 minutes to the main area of town. Lots of little restaurants and massage parlours on the same street, but a nice quiet street. Room was spacious and clean. Wifi was good. Toiletries supplied. There is a toaster downstairs in the courtyard area so we bought bread and jam from 7/11 for breakfast every morning to save money. Staff were very friendly and helped us organise transportation to the bus station out of town for our bus to Pai. Overall great hotel and would stay again.

Daily cleaning and change of towel, daily water replenishment. Food options, transpo and some Wats just steps away. Owner is helpful and lent me her cellphone when I needed to call our Bangkok hotel. Can't ask for more when you are on a budget.

Nice Budget Hotel in the city center”

I had a very nice stay at an affordable price. Sure, the youth hostels and some other hotels might be a little cheaper, but there were many that were more expensive and probably not as nice as this basic, but adequate hotel. You are "inside the moat" in Chiang Mai, which means you're walking distance to almost everything else in the city center--temples, restaurants, the night market, and spas/massage places. I would definitely stay here again as the hotel staff was also willing to accommodate my extra baggage for two nights (unpaid) while I went on a tour in the hills and to an elephant camp. Hotel cleaning staff ignored my "Do Not Disturb" sign one day, but nothing was missing (no safe box is available unfortunately), and they made up the room nicely. Internet worked well on both floors, AC was also fine and there was hot water on demand.

Easily accessible budget stay”

This is a cheap, clean hotel. Limited car parking but enough. The owner manager was always available and very helpful and efficient. Excellent price and rooms quiet with all the facilities you need.Wifi quite quick and room clean and functional.
