Excellent Hotel For Its Location”

Firstly, bear in mind whoever books here wants to be close to Bui Vien and the lively bars and night markets nearby. Very clean and almost had a beach vibe. They even fit a beautiful pool, which is very unique for this part of town. Make no mistake, if you book here you will be next to everything. Last but not least, is the GREAT staff. The owner is exceedingly kind.

Although it's located in Bui Vien, the backpacker street with pubs and restaurants all around, the level of music/noise was minimal that you could sleep well so don't worry. Walkable distance (~10-15mins) to all attractions in city centre. Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices.

Nice hotel in backpacker area, used it to watch Super Bowl at nearby sports bar. Bui Vien is a very loud, noisy street at night, but it's not a problem with the hotel's side street location. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

Great little Hotél near the Walking Street area. The manager here provided great hospitality! If you need an elevator this might not be the place for you, but I would book again if I'm returning to Saigon.

Central location and clean rooms ”

The room was modern and hipster in concept. The location is very central in particular for us because we could walk just one minute to the Sinh Tourist office to catch our bus to Dalat. The front desk receptionists were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The room is exactly like now the pictures depict them to be. There are no elevators in the building but we didnt mind this too much. The restaurant opposite the lodge offers good Vietnamese food.

Great smaller hotel with pool”

The check in with Mr Binh was quick and efficient and during our stay Mr Binh was the go to person if we needed info etc. All personnel we met at this hotel/restaurant/pool were friendly and doing a great job. Liked the hats :-)! Pool kept very clean and nice to have access to sun lounges as well as a menu to order drinks/food. The pool and restaurant are being used by guests from other hotels from the same hotel/guesthouse chain. Towels at the pool area. Breakfast tasty and plentiful, staff made sure everything was replenished. Egg and soup station and also plenty of fresh fruit. Our room was tastefully decorated and very clean, so was the bathroom with good quality products to use in the shower. Bed-linens and towels hotel quality and comfortable mattress and pillows. Good working wifi and Airco. However the size of the room is quite small and in both bathroom as well as bedroom cupboard space is missing making it difficult to store clothes/ suitcases and or packs/toiletries. I had to climb over the back of the bed to get in as on one side there is just no room. Also be aware there is no elevator. Situated near plenty of bars and restaurants this hotel is great when you like to be close to the action, not the place if you are looking for a quiet time although nighttime is way more loud compared to during the day.

The service was at the Urban Lodge was exceptional, they truly made an effort to guarantee that everything was well. The hotel is in a busy area in the middle of District 1 but it was still very relaxing and quiet. I immediately felt at home!

Great little hotel off the main streets. All the staff are super friendly and helpful! Can’t thank Mr Bingh (apologies if spelt incorrectly) enough for posting our iPad to us that we’d left behind. Would definitely stay again!

Only if you have no ears...”

The hotel in itself is cute, the room is well decorated although quite small, and well kept. The manager is nice and tries his best to make your stay comfortable. We found some hairs in the room upon arrival, and the floor was dusty throughout our stay. It seems to be the rule in SE Asian hotels not to hoover the floor; we had the same issue in Malaysia and Thailand. The breakfast is plentiful and the restaurant staff are nice; if you stay at this hotel you will be able to use the (small) pool of the restaurant for a dip. The HUGE problem of this hotel is its location: right in the middle of Bui Vien, which is Saigon’s party town. Every night (but more so on Fri/Sat/Sun) you will hear EXTREMELY LOUD music coming from the nearby bars. The music won’t stop until 3/4 am, possibly later. Even earplugs won’t be enough to block the noise. No soundproofing at all. The only (relatively) quiet time is in the morning until lunch time. So think twice before booking this hotel.

We found this a really great place to stay. This hotel is immaculately clean. All the staff were really friendly and helpful! The breakfast they provide is excellent with lots of variety. We would definitely recommend this place!

Brand New Hotel”

I booked an urban suite room, upon checking in was given an urban room. Different? Same room size urban suite just larger windows. Next day requested to move our room to urban suite room (larger windows). This is a great hotel. Most importantly staff are very friendly as it is expected in the hospitality industry. Urban lodge does not have lifts so if you don’t mind the stairs, this hotel is for you. I regretted that I didn’t stay longer as decided to try another new hotel for 3 nights call Saigon Kiko Hotel, so disappointed with Kiko hotel I decided to forfeit my other 2nights and booked The Hammock hotel. One of my favourite hotel in Saigon. Urban lodge has tasty breakfast. Will be staying at urban lodge again in August 2018

If you want a nice place where you can party all night.. this is your hotel, party place at bui vien is just a walk away, Very nice staff, Good food is serve at their buffet breakfast.. im just wondering why hotels serves only free breakfast whereas im on a holiday why should i wake up very early.. besides I am not a morning person.. haha! 😛✌🏼😉 Overall this hotel is very commendable.. 😍

Firstly Me Binh and his staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, lots of choice and a lovely setting around the pool area. It is no problem at all that these are across the street in a sister property. The location is fantastic, it is easy to walk everywhere from the property.

Great modern hotel with comfortable rooms”

Located at the edge of the bui vien area, so it can be a bit noisy. That didn’t spoil the fun for us though. Hotel staff superb

Brand new hotel in Bui Vien Area”

This hotel is located in the "backpacker" street of Sai Gon, which is not very nice at night with all the noise and people. But the hotel itself is very good with brand new rooms and very friendly staff. The manager explains to me they received two bookings and only charge one, which was very nice and appreciated. But in spite of this, I felt the room rates were fairly high, especially if compared with other hotels in the "backpacker" street. If they want to charge more, open a hotel in better areas, not the backpacker street

Great but my city view was a wall. ”

Bought a room with a city view and I got a view of a wall. Asked to change and they said no. Got taxi through them and would not take me to domestic airport only international. Cost more too. Breakfast fantastic.
