Хороший отель без особого шика. Стоит своих денег. Жили в супериоре - это небольшой номер с балконом. Удобные кровати, уборка ежедневно. Один минус отсутствие в номере сейфа. Завтраки европейские скромные. Улица на которой расположен отель очень милая. В целом отель понравился.

Отель очень хороший! Он маленький, но очень уютный! Удобно расположен, внутри старого города. Персонал отзывчивый, нареканий нет вообще. Наличие бассейна еще один огромный полюс! Завтраки скромные, но голодным остаться сложно. Однозначно рекомендую данный отель!!!

Не надо ждать от 3-х звездочного отеля шика и размаха присущего 5-ти звездочному! Маленький отель: посредине бассейн, по бокам - номера. Номера просторные: телевизор, холодильник, сейф, принадлежности для чая - что еще нужно, чтобы отдохнуть после экскурсий? Убирались и меняли белье каждый день без напоминаний. Одна проблема: нужно брать с собой или покупать на месте адаптор - их розетки не подо все подходя. Завтрак традиционен для всего Таиланда - претензий нет. Поскольку, попали в отель на Новый год, то самое веселье проходило на улицах в 5-ти минутах хотьбы. Вообще, более интересного и приятного для времяпрепровождения города, чем Чианг Май, я не знаю.

I will stay again”

Only con is that it is off the main road a hundred meters or so, but for many people that can be a plus. Plenty of shops to get food of many types within five minute walk. It is not in a night life area but if you want that it is a ten minute walk. Staff is very helpful, breakfast was good with better than average menus compared to other budget places I’ve stayed. Nice place really.

Great location great staff good breakfast and nice pool .Stayed here several times before and its always been good .The price seems to be going up and up in comparison to other hotels in the same area and quality

Small but nice”

Rooms are OK. Quiet place. However, everything can be seen in other guests' rooms from the balcony. I didn't like the lack of privacy due to the hotel's design (all the rooms are located around a small swimming pool). Charming place, though.

Perfect location when first time in Chiang Mai”

Hotel is located on quiet side street, but location is very convenient when first time in Chiang Mai. Staff is very friendly but their English is just very basic. We wanted to arrange a special private taxi to explore Chiang Mai's attractions, but they offered/recommended only "pre-arranged private" trips. Very disappointing. Luckily, just a couple of meters to the right on the street is a small tourist kiosk. There we arranged all as we wished plus more for a 1/2 of the price asked in hotel. Hotel looks charming, but facility is outdated and furniture quite battered. Room is very small (had standard with 2 single beds, facing the street). Cleaning staff is very efficient, got clean towels and 2 bottles of water every day. Will I stay in this same hotel when in Chiang Mai again? No. There are plenty of hotels with a better value for what you pay.

Good location, low-key pleasant place”

Good location in the old city. Generally relaxing atmosphere (hotel can't be held responsible for occasional noise from Chinese quests). Pool view room had pleasant balcony. Room a bit dated, no proper safety box - just a lockable drawer. Amazingly prompt housekeeping. Decent breakfast. Wifi adequate, but not the fastest or most stable. Overall a good stay, but a little overpriced compared to similar hotels I've stayed in in other parts of Thailand.

nice hotel in great location near sunday market”

very nice hotel with a nice pool the reason I pick this hotel was it location to the sunday market which is very big and great fun many things to buy and see the breakfast was a good quality the staff very friendly I come back again and stay here

Superb value for money”

At this price I really can't fault the place. I've stayed in a superior and standard room and both are similar and very nice - beds are equally huge and each room has a sizeable balcony. Aircon and fridge are quiet and the rooms are quite modern for this part of Thailand. Breakfast is simple but perfectly decent and I heard the restaurant is good from a local but didn't try it. Also being in the NW of the old town it is ideally located (walkable most places you'll want to go). The pool is in the courtyard, you can catch the sun from the beds some of the day, otherwise sit in a chair (I wasn't bothered by this as I didn't want to sunbathe the whole day anyway, and you'd be mad to in April/May anyway).

Convenient hotel at old city”

Perfect location for Sunday walking market. Hotel in a very narrow alley which took the taxi sometimes to find it. Very Thai feel but slightly dated. Room has been clean up well daily but we still feel quite dusty in the room. Sitting in the balcony to spend whole afternoon is what we enjoyed most during our stay. The building is wood floor and thof sound proof if slightly poor. Quite bit annoying is the guests upstairs is walking up and down early in the morning which make us awake.

One of the best hotels around ”

Location is at the Start of the Sunday walking street near tha pa gate. Hotel has a very chill feeling, makes you don't want to leave the premises. Balcony room with pool view. However, can be a little noisy at night especially the room you got is facing the back. Hotel has bicycle and bike rental. Breakfast was decently good. There's a local restaurant right outside the hotel which serve cheap and good BBQ fish, massage just a few steps away. Would definitely stay at the hotel again

Location is good for the Sunday Walking Street”

Actually, Agoda passed our booking off to their partner booking.com but still asked me to pay the full balance. After paying the full balance for the hotel, Agoda sent us to the partner who didn't pay but asked us to pay. So, when we arrived at the hotel the staff asked us to pay. This confusion wasn't a really nice way to start our vacation and it could have easily been avoided by Agoda doing their job. At the end of the day Agoda gave everyone a lot of trouble.

Great location for Sunday Walking Street”

Well-maintained boutique hotel with great swimming pool and cozy restaurant to relax. Staff were friendly. Location is terrific just off the Sunday Walking Street. Hotel restaurant serves really really good authentic thai food. Probably slightly more expensive than the small eating places opposite the hotel BUT worth every baht in terms if the flavour, quality and cleanliness. A well-maintained and beautiful place to stay.

Nice hotel”

Very nice hotel in an excellent location. The food was really good for breakfast and there are really nice restaurant's close by. Good bar with drink offers to enjoy by the pool. Will definitely be back.

Excellent location for first time visitors”

At 5 min walk to Thapae Gate, good for first time travelers. Very quiet hotels, while most rooms surround the pool, some rooms are in another annexed building. The rooms were small but had nice balcony with seating. No elevator, but max 3 floors. Pool was really cold, and was about 120 cm deep all the way, it was really enjoyable at mid-day. Polite and helpful staff. Wi-Fi good. Breakfast good.

Fantastic hotel, highly recommended ”

I would highly recommend this hotel. It's in a fantastic location, just off walking street and near Thappe Gate. As soon as you enter the hustle and bustle of Chiang Mai disappears and you're in another world. The rooms are wonderful and overlook a great pool. All of the staff, except one, went out of their way to help at all times. Top massage at the in hotel spa. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to all.

“Nice hotel, nice price””

his hotel is very close to the action, but on a quiet street. The room was very nice with a very comfortable bed. The hotel is organized around a central courtyard with a lovely pool. The windows let in lots of natural light. The bathroom as not so great, but perfectly fine for our stay. Breakfast offerings were plentiful each morning and the coffee was good. For the price and the location I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Chiang Mai.

Pleasant Stay At Vieng Mantra Hotel”

Enjoyed our 3 nights stay at the Vieng Mantra Hotel with my family, thanks to the friendly and helpful staff for their service. Lots of cafes and restaurants around the vicinity. Room was spacious and cleaned every day. Tha Phae Gate is just 5 mins walk from the hotel and if you happen to stay there till Sunday, night market is a stone's throw away.
